We have sung that song at our church, and I love the melody.

Beautiful photo Mum!
Joni ~ love the words to that song!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I would like to say God is Good. I have had a horrible past couple of days with an issue I won't go into. Last night at 6:19 I recieved a little note letting me know that the situation is being rectified. Every little bit helps. God hears our prayers, ladies.
Another praise...Patch and his parents will be here in one week to celebrate Thanksgiving!!! Holding him will be so wonderful!!!
-
Oh Meece, it must be SO hard to be so far away!! But I find that even at an hour away, it was over 2 months since I have seen my DD's son!! Too sad, really....
It will be magical for you!
-
I am afraid that my excitement to hold him will scare him. It is going to be hard to hold back until he gets used to me again.

I saw my DGS Zach for the first time in over 2 months on Monday. It took him about 45 minutes to warm up to me!! He kept checkikng with his mom and dad to see how they interacted with me. He is 14 months old. By the end of the 2 hour visit he was running between my DH and I and climbing up into our laps with a book. One page later...down he went! and over to the next lap. It was hilarious!!! He must have done it at least 12 times in a row.Would have made a great vidoe for AFHV!!
-
Oh, that sounds so cute!!! I am hoping that at 5 months Patch will be less panicky about coming to me. As you can see from the pic, he is a very happy little baby.
-
I am blown away with how happy my three little grandsons are. I don't know if my kids were that happy, pictures seem to say yes, but the stress in my brain remains! hehehehehe
-
Matt was my happiest. We called him Beamer because when you said anything to him, he just beeamed his smile at you.
-
My daughter always got notes back on her report cards saying how her good nature was such a pleasure in the class room. Boy, THAT acorn fell FAR from the tree!!! heheheheheheh
-
Barbe!!!you saw ZACH!!!im so happy!!!

3jays, may your son stay true to his word today.
Counting down the days until my dear little guy is here. His mama says he's scooting in reverse so not a whole lot of baby proofing to do this visit.
I was always so proud when people told me how good of kids I had, expecieally after they had watched them for awhile.
Jo, I had heard that way of saying goodbye for the first time this week, I think I was listening to Focus on the Family and a guest mentioned it. I love it!
-
When I heard it I thought I wished I had sent my children on their way like that. I wish I could remember who said it. I listen to FOF in the morning and early evening, Joni and friends , Today's Walk and Chuck Swindall at lunch. I sort of remember being in my neighborhood when I heard it, so I figured it was FOF.

Hello Ladies!! What wonderful stories about grandbabies! I don't have grandbabies yet, but does a precious little niece count? I looked after her over the summer and she had her first birthday today. We live on opposite sides of the country so I facetime with her and her mommy (my sis). We facetimed today and she was blowing me kisses, absolutely melted my heart! I can't wait to see her at Christmas, nothing like a cuddle and giggle from a little one to make the world right. If I feel this way about my niece, I can't begin to imagine the feelings for a grandchild! How blessed you all are!
Hugs to all! -
A precious niece is perfectly fine here!
DH and I care for the "rockers" at church every other week. I kinda think of them as my surrogate grands. I get to cuddle them, rock them, and think about which one is at the same age, stage or size as my little guy.

What a roller coaster ride lately. After getting TC Round 1, they decided to use Neulasta to keep the white cells going. Unfortunately, it blew my white counts out the roof so I now have over 40,000 white cells, pushing the rest of the red cells and platelets into the corner. Had to have nosebleed cauterized yesterday, and waiting for the next step in how to differentiate and see if this is just the Neulasta or the leukemia raising its head again. How good to know that God is not resting and is already taking care of all the details. Once again, I find it hard to see how people can fight this cancer battle without the safety of God's hands. Praying for a great Thanksgiving for each of you as you get to visit with family and friends, and enjoy all those little grandbabies

Love Letter
My daughter, I call to you.
From out of the darkness,
I send forth your name.
It sets out on the wind like a scepter,
Beckoning you to join Me, to talk with Me,
Welcoming your company into My courts.
I wish to surround you with my eternal joy,
To wrap you in my extravagant love,
To crown you with beauty and grace.
Before you were ever created,
I knew your plans and fashioned your future.
I hold fast to my dreams for you
As only a Father can,
Dreams of hope and new beginnings,
Of tea parties and laughter and dances with the King.
I stand by patiently
As you follow your own pursuits,
Waiting with anticipation for you
To turn and glimpse My presence.
I have held you in the storms of this life,
Wiping your brow tenderly when you were sick,
Going to battle for you
Even when you were oblivious of my existence.
Today, again, I call out to you,
Yearning for your face at My banquet table,
Desiring to renew My relationship with you.
Come claim your crown and feast with Me.
Sit under My banner of love.
Let Me exult over you with joy.
Just come, my daughter, into My Kingdom.
Come and let yourself be loved.Laura Alway

Beautiful, Laura.

One of our litle one's we care for at church was born with Poland's Syndrome. He has been slower to develop so he was in our room longer. Yesterday they brought him back to us because his new class was pretty full and he needs attention. (Mom is emotionally young and baby really appreciates the attention.) He will be a year old in Dec.
Grandma came to pick him up and told us that Elijah will be facing surgery on his left hand to unfuse his fingers next week. Please keep Elijah and his mom Heather in your prayers.
-
Father, I thank you and am so grateful that you are indeed a God concerned about the details in our lives. I pray for little Elijah that you would guide the surgeon's hand, that he would get through his surgery safely and I pray for peace and courage for his mommy. I pray for Laura that you touch her and strengthen her and give her doctors wisdom in her treatments. I pray that her white blood cell count will diminsh to the perfect levels. Continue to touch her and fill her with peace and strength. I pray that you would meet needs of the ladies, spoken and unspoken. Thank you Lord! Amen

Thank you for these women who gather here to give you thanks and praise your works all year long. Thank you for the miracles and care you bestow upon us every day. Amen.
