Elaine,
Hope you are okay? Have been thinking of you.
Where are all the dust bunnies? Laying quietly in the shade to escape the heat?
Me.. I feel like a bear that needs to go into hibernation due to the cold , wet wintery weather.
Take care all

Elaine, how thankfull I am that when I finally came back here (been bad at keeping in touch in writing of late, but sending vibes and love always). How thankfull I am to have seen a post from you! We have all been thinking about you. I often, often wondered where you were, and hoping for all good things. So sorry things are "active" and you are having yet more surgery. Sending you all of the best quality peachy vibes I can muster.
I am in the throws of packing for a 1 week cottage break in wWales tomorrow. we coudn't get away any longer due to dh's work commitments so opted for a beach in Wales, unfortunately the weather is being called upon to be good for gardens not people, so looks like will be packing everyone's wellies, shame as it is just lovely here at the moment.
Bunnies, sorry I've been off so long. I've been thinking of you of course, as ever, and sending you my vibes. I've missed you. Thing is, my new eye condition in my "once upon a time2 good eye, is causing me to have a hard time reading, as it doesn't seem to be able to compensate for my other warped retina, so this is a bit of an adjustment period. I am aiming to get a patch today, which am hoping will help. Just a nuicance, hopefully it will settle soon.
Barbe, saw your message from before, so now you know.. not "new eyes" just... lemonette eyes. Makes driving difficult at times as well. I think the patch will help, we shall see. In September, I will start chassing an answer to my uper righ chondral pain, but lungs are doing well, and am just glad to have the kiddos to myself for a month. wish you could all meet them.
I will report back after my week off and hope I will see lots or good news on here, but even if it is not all good, do come and tell, and we want to send extra prayers and vibes when needed.
Big bunny hug to you lovely bunnies.
COONIE..HUG AND THANKS, AND BE IN TOUCH SOON. YOU ARE A DOLL. will try to catch you in on my return.
xx Shiny

(((((((((((((((((((( Elaine ))))))))))))))))))))) So sorry you're going through this junk again. You're in my thoughts and prayers!!!! I hope you keep us posted on how things turn out!! All the bunnies here love you!
Shinygirl!!!! I hope your holiday is just brilllllllllllllll............you SO deserve it! I know the kiddiewinks are excited!! When you get back, send me an email or PM and I'll let you know where I am and we can "connect" voice to voice.....LOL. DD starts back to school next Monday (8/15) The children don't start until the 17th though. And since she's teaching pre-K, they will be testing them for a few days and then stagger the days they come. I hope most of them have been away from their mommies a little. It's always so hard if they haven't.........understandably hard. I just hope DD makes it a happy time for them. I know once they walk into her classroom they'll love it! I know I would if I were a wittle one:)
Just hopping through to wish you all a wondermous weekend!!! Love you all!!
-
Can you imagine teaching kindergarten?? What a blessed gift that is. How lucky she is to know that's what she wanted to do...I'd love to be doing that now!! Hindsight is always 20/20...sigh.
Shiny, I know you'll have a brill hol because I've seen the shows that highlight where you're going on "Escape to the Country" and "Escape to the Waterfront"!!! LOVE those shows!!! We get to see inside a whole bunch of other people's homes....love it!!!
-
Barbe I know exactly what you mean. I REALLY wish I had the degree to teach. I love children (most of the time more than adults) hehe.......but it just seems to be so much fun. At least I get to enjoy it a little through DD. We've been working in her classroom the last few weeks. And this age group is really special. I heard someone say it's a good age because they haven't learned to hate yet.
-
I think it's probably the most important grade as it will determine if the kids will like school or not!!

As I posted on the other threads I follow:Hello everyone. Welcome to the newbies. I have been reading, but not posting. As with other detours in my life's journey, I am back on the main road and will be concentrating on in person adventures. A couple of adventures right now: volunteer club I belong to has a big shake up over the head person's conduct and comments. Two friends have BC and one has recurrence in less than 6 months and starts chemo Friday. I will have hand surgery in a week and the other hand once this one is healed. I am backing off from checking the threads each and every day, but I offer my best Hugs, Blessings, Good Vibes, and prayers for all of you. Nancy

Hey, hey bunny babes!
I never come to BCO anymore but popped in tonight. Had to swing by and check on my girls! I still see many of you on Facebook- Faith, Barbe, Linda, Jayne...I'm drawing a blank here...I know there are others. Those of you I don't see there- you are always in my prayers!
I'm doing well. I have passed the two-year mark (hard to believe!) and all is well. One more year of the Zometa trial. I still see my onc every three months for that. I'm just trying to move on with life but sometimes the fear jumps up again and it's almost paralyzing. I know y'all get that.
I'm down on the Texas coast tonight at our vacation place celebrating 25 years of marriage! Feels so good to make it that long! Not a day goes by that I don't thank God for my life and for you bunnies. You are all always in my prayers and I hope all is well with all of you- Coonie, Arnie, Shiny, Elaine, Sharon- I hate to name names...I'll leave someone out.
Thinking of all of you! Love and hugs!

-
It's all those grandbabies!! You are too busy for Farkle!!!
-
What the heck is Farkle??
-
Farkle is an online Facebook game using dice based on Yahtzee. It is VERY addictive!! Be careful what you ask!!!!!

Good morning ladies! This is my second week back at work. I had to have one of my tissue expanders removed at the end of July due to infection. I was so mad. But I'm feeling ok now. I haven't been cleaning much but I have been working out with my trainer. I'm so tired after working out with him, I to tired to care about the house.
A little bad new regarding my pup, Raja, I think he reinjured himself. He was around another pup this weekend and was trying to mount him to show his alpha dogness. He was not up and around and cheery yesterday. I put him back on steroids and pain pills. Back in the cage he goes for strict cage rest.

MaryRose!!!!! It's so good to see you!
Hope all you bunnies are doing great!
Trying to fight this heat-----I think the heat is winning
-
What a BEAUTIFUL bunny!!! Too bad they chew up everything in the house!!! I'd love to have them hopping around my place. I worked with someone who's rabbits ripped up his leather 3-piece sofa/love/chair set and made a nest. All in one day while he was at work!! Right down to the staples. They used EVERYTHING. Even the strapping!
