Thinking Out Loud.....

Not bad outside today, around 58 right now.
-
My small yard is upside down from last nights storm.

Today looks better.
Isn't this exciting news?
i need to take a long walk and visit my father before they move him to his new place,
I have nothing funny to report. I'm even boring myself.

I hope you are all OK.
Hugs♥

I feel really good about our taxes. We got them done early and we have already received our refund from the state. I hate waiting until the last minute. My poor son's b-day is the 15th, he's gonna hate his birthday unless he gets his taxes in early.
We went over to wine country yesterday. We picked up wine at a couple of our favorite wineries but mostly just hung out at the one our friends own. Closing time was 5 and we didn't leave until nearly 8:30. It was a much needed break. We are heading back there on Friday and will prepare a lamb dinner in exchange for a night at the B&B. Maybe it will be our celebration for me getting a job...
-
Meece glad you had a good time!!
Seyla, not as boring as I am!!
Didn't go down the shore don't feel like getting out of bed, party was fine there are pix on the puter, a couple....Andrew was there shame he is so attached to my daughter since she has been off from work that he didn't even want to stay for the weekend with his dad...he ended up tho after she left.....hate the pix of me tho, not sure where the weight comes from cause I don't really eat, don't think it is the falsodex, but who know, I know I should walk but get out of breath so easily....I need to stop whinning!!!
-
Sounds fun Meece!
I'll check out your pixs Sandy.
baseball and more baseball fore me. I am exhausted. Another at 6.
-
Oh my goodness Sally! How can you keep that all straight? Divided families are hard to cope with, but I hope you had fun at the party : )
Taxes--what an ugly word. We own our own business and never file by April 15th. I think our accountant appreciates it. On paper we actually own 3 different companies (to maintain the assets and depreciation), so they have a hard time sorting everything out. Look at me with my taxish words! I sound like I know what I'm talking about. I don't. Don't have a clue. I just sign where they tell me to. We owe about $16k in personal taxes and about $75k in back business taxes, so we haven't received a refund in 10 years. Ugh.
I like my hair-don't love it yet because it really is too short right in the front. When it's about an inch longer I think I will love it! I'll keep getting the sides and back cut short until the "bangs" catch up. Chemo really did a doozy on my hair (on my head.)
Tomorrow I get to take my nipple shields off-yayyy me! The nipps are huge, but I'm so happy to have them. I'm liking my profile again. My PS said I can get the tattoos in about 6 weeks-icing on the cake. My 11 year old keeps bonking her head on the shields when she hugs me, and I didn't explain what my surgery was for 2 weeks ago, so she's probably wondering WTH. How do you discuss getting nipples done with an 11 year old and a 16 year old? Uh, no.
Sunny and around 97 degrees here...not looking forward to summer!
-
Just go out of the chat room paying my respects to a fallen sister. A lot of ppl in there tonight.
-
Oh no, Deb. So sorry to hear that. Who is it?
Burley, I wouldn't discuss that with my 12 and 15 year old sons!
-
Her name was Beth (BethMCA) was her sign on. I only chatted with her a few time a long time ago.
-
I'm sorry to hear about her.
-
Good Morning
Mothers without car!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry.
Mothers with children home for spring vacation. Patience.......
((TOL)) friends I love you♥
Be back later.............
-
I have a truck, just hate driving it. My neat freak husband has the biggest shiniest, cleanest truck in the world! Car will go in the shop tonight after baseball.
Kids have friends over.....
-
Loved my truck! But I love my new car even more-husband bought me a brand new Camaro for my "surviving cancer", birthday and Christmas presents all wrapped into one. Awesome. I feel like a princess driving it, even though I'm half tomboy.
-
I'm tom boy too! I don't mind driving the truck, it's a nice one, I just hate that it's so huge and I have to drive and park at ball fields etc. I bless myself when I back up, hoping there are no kids behind me. Dropping the Volvo off in a bit, it will be fixed tomorrow! YAY!

Hi Sheila,
How was your day? Awful quiet on this thread today.
-
I was busy and aggravated. they couldn't find a bed for my father for short term.
There is one who will take him but that's the farthest one from my house. 1.5 mile each way.
I like to walk but I also want to be able to get there easily. Finally my first choice which is only 0.9 mile found a room and he's been transferred there.
I will go tomorrow.
I feel so tired when I'm home I'm falling asleep.
I went to bed around 11;30 last night.
other than that I spoke to Christine last night. They are OK.
Natalie is working and making a kosher dinner for a family that they want her every year.
I asked her what do you know about Kosher cooking? She manages allright.
-
She's quite the cook! I could use her!
Glad to hear dad got a room. That's a nice close distance to you. Good luck tomorrow and get some rest!
-
Thanks. How are you feeling/ Are you 100% yet?
Im gonna say an early Good Night to All.
♥
-
Linda you haven't said how you r....Sorry Shiela about dad......actually a quiet day, I love that!!! Dr.'s tomorrow for a check up, boys have practice, got destroyed today, another one on Wednesday!!!
-
I'm ready to knock my father into next week. They have van trips were he lives but they are for the ppl that are more independent than he is. He has had accidents on the bus in his depends and one time it didn't smell so good.
So they really don't want him to go on the bus. I can't get him to understand that if he wants to go on the van I have to make arrangements for one of the CNA's from the homecare that I hired and I need notice in advance. First he said he wasn't going then when I went over there after work he tells me he is going on the van trip for a Bach lunch, it's dinner and music. I told him he can't go cause he needs more assistance than the other folks, he took a bloody yelling fit at me. So I had to call the homecare to make arrangements for one of them to go with him, thank goodness the owner was able to get someone. I don't know how long I can take this stress. I made up my mind tonight that I am not going to pick him up and worry about him falling or crapping his pants Easter Sunday. We will go over there for dessert after we eat. He owes me an apology for yelling at me but he probably does not remember now.

Thinking about walking in the rain. 4 boys in my house, rains looking good!
Feeling better sandy, just a lingering cough now. Hows your vaca going?
-
Oh boy, 4 boys? You definitely need to escape for a walk! Walk yourself down to the nearest wine bar. lol
Sunny and warm here-I'm sitting looking out my window, watching a bird in the tree...so peaceful...while in reality I'm keeping an eye on my trash can because someone has been going through it. Really? Gross. And someone stole some things about of my backyard. I'm pretty creeped out. Guess they know the dogs are a couple of softies!
-
no vaca am home!!!
-
Sandy..i was just trying to write the weather report.
Not much to report. I'm searching for my lost sense of humor and laughing. Did anyone find it/

Nothing is on TV tonight. But one more night left for AI

-
You should have some dessert. Where did your sense of humor go? Do you need a trip to MH??

Hope he cheers you up Sheila!
-
