I can see you now too! Good to hear your father is better. Happy MH day!
-
Hi ladies - hope everyone was able to enjoy the warmer, drier weather today here in the northeast. Not the 70's, but close.
Glad your dad is doing better, Sheila.
I've heard that tumor markers can go up when there is cancer cell die-off.
I'm bummed. DH and DS are going to Gettysburg to camp for a few days next week with their Scout troop - forecast is t-storms the first day and showers all the other days. I hope they are wrong. Enough with the rain already!
Thinking about going for a run. Or my version of a run anyway. There are people that can walk faster that I can run these days - lol.
-
it is spring break next week.....I think I am going down the shore for a couple of days after the birthday party on saturday til tuesday, wish I could go tomorrow....how is everybody!!
-
Sounds great Sandy, enjoy the time at the shore!

All right. Who knows of a good makeup remover -that isn't too oily and doesn't sting if any gets in your eyes? My little Thespian is having trouble getting her excessive stage makeup off. (Actually, she's just in the ensemble, so can she be considered a Thespian?_ She doesn't like the makeup remover I have.

Good Morning
Diane today is the day I hope you feel better.
chris...No help for your question. Sorry.
♥
-
Chris, try babyoil on a cotton thingy. My mom used to take my makeup off like that, when I was in plays etc.
Happy Friday all!
-
I use the makeup remover wipes from Costco with no eye burning etc. I actually really like them a lot - my DD uses them as well.
-
Oops - yes, today is the day. I can't wait to see if it works. Plus I get light sedation which I love. Crazy, ha?
-
Good luck and enjoy the sedation!
-
Wishing you luck, Diane! Hope to hear a report later that your pain is gone!
Thanks for the suggestions on the makeup remover. She is so stubborn.
-
Arent they all at that age

Ok, I saw this thread mentioned somewhere else and thought I would poke my head in...as a newbie, you never know how you will be received.
Can I jump in the middle of your thread? I am that person who is sidling up to the popular group hoping they will talk to me...lol

WELCOME BURLEY!
-
Hello burley my friend from AI.

We love to have you.
Sometimes we use abbr. any question just ask what it means.
AG=Asparagus
GF=Gold fish (snack)

i spoke too soon by saying I have nothing to say.
now I have plenty. SW from the hospital called. They have to transfer him to another facility because there is no room in the one he was staying. Now Im

I called her back and gave her some other choices walking distance and they are all on the water.
New paperwork needs to be done. ..................
To be continued......................

-
Good Luck Sheila.
Hi Burley, you can be the popular one on our thread! LOL. We pretty much talk about nothing and everything. Welcome!
-
Hi Burley - I didn't realize we were the popular ones - i was a latecomer here and have always felt very welcome and hope you do as well. Sheila will need to slowly fill in the TOL Slang. Sometimes, for example, we speak of dessert but it means wine. Or BBB is a special relationship with Sheila.
I hope you like it here....
-
And sometimes wine means margaritas!
Sorry about the hassle, Sheila. Sheesh. Hope he gets into your first choice.
-
Ha ha - we talk about nothing and everything. (I mostly talk about nothing and these ladies are kind enough to put up with me!) Reminds me of the Seinfeld show when they were pitching a show about nothing. (Remember that?) Is this the thread about nothing? lol

I just sent my resume to a staffing agency. I'm so scared - although I'm sure I won't hear from them. I need to work, but I can't do anything anymore.
I can't even remember how I did most of what I did way back when. I might as well not have done it. waaaaah -
-
Good Luck chris♥
-
Welcome, Burley. I am honored to be considered in the "popular" crowd. never been there before!
I have been applying for jobs online, and a staffing agency just called me a couple days ago. They wanted my resume. I sent it. They wanted references, I sent them. This morning they called and said my references were "stellar" and I have an interview on Tuesday with a potential employer...Temp too hire. Crosss your fingeres for me, please.
-
Meece - that is great - fingers are crossed that it is a good fit.
Chris - don't be hard on yourself. You surely are good at many things.
So, I am not in much pain at all now, very much better but I am quite loopy says my daughter. It hink it worked, I think it worked......
Burley - come to think of it, I am also happy to be in the "in" crowsd.
Sheila - hoping you get some good news re the placement.
Chabba - hello, wish you around for a menu consult.
Sandy - have fun at the shore - I am jealous.
Hi Deb!
