Thinking Out Loud.....

This is the time of year when the spiders come into the house. I HATE spiders. I really don't like killing things, but I HATE spiders. My mother used to say, "You are 100,000 times bigger than they are. Why are you afraid of them?" Because they are creepy, crawly, and have webs so when they get on you and you flick them off, they stay attached and crawl right back on you.
And they like to hang out on the ceiling where I don't like to try to kill them because I'm afraid they will fall on me. So I stand there like an idiot, watching to see if they will crawl over to the wall and come down so I can get them. Today's spider didn't. And it was one of those flat ones that I hate. So I resorted to spraying bug spray. Then I stood there like an idiot watching the thing, waiting for it to fall to the floor. It did circles around the light fixture for a while before spray #3 made it fall to the floor. I screamed. It's dead. I freaking HATE spiders.

Once I see a spider in my home, or Heaven forbid, one gets on me, I brush my skin for hours because I can feel them on me.
-
My biggest fear is mice.
good morning.
How is everyone today?
-
I HATE spiders too! I hear ya!
Raining like cats and dogs today. My son is still home with me but I can tell he is getting better.
Hope you are all doing well.
-
Linda - are YOU getting better?
I am looking forward to hearing the plan for my nerve/shoulder stuff today.
Not raining, just grey and blah!

Ok ladies..............................how about Stink Bugs................they are the worst...........they fall out of nowhere, and look like little Armadilla's................when you step on them they crack so loud it makes your skin crawl, and then they stink like hell..............Your ok, as long as you don't crack them................Everyone has them in in the suburbs of Philly, and no one can get rid of them............Worst thing is................no one knows where they come from..........one minute there are none, and next you look you see them.......Also not proud where they go.........
-
hey guys how is this Wednesday, hump day for you all? Me to Deb wish we lived closer and could have tea, lol or whatever Shiela wants...Linda you feeling better?
-
Feeling a little better, thanks for asking.
Stink bugs dont really bother me. We have them everywhere! Today I took one off of the phone! I have squished many and I don;t think they smell. Believe me, my boys have tried. They definitley are funky looking. Spiders scare me, stink bugs are an annoyance to me. Did you have them in your house over the winter? We did. We have a second floor unfinished addition that will be finished this year and the stink bugs camped out there.
-
Glad you are a little better.
So they are going to do the epidural in my neck first, thank goodness. It will be Friday morning. It will either work really quickly or not at all....yay.
-
Hoping for it working really quickly!
Glad you're getting better, Linda.
Stink bugs...had to google it. I think I've seen them around - guess I never squished one - or didn't realize that was what the smell was - lol. I guess there is a species of stink bug that is relatively new here that is causing problems. Doesn't have many natural predators to keep them in check and they are hard to kill with pesticides. Sounds great.
Trying to finish up the taxes. Nothing like waiting 'til the last minute. Call me the Queen of Procrastination.
-
At least they don't bite!
Good luck on Friday Diane. Hope it works!
-
In the apartment we used to rent before we moved back into the house I was brought up in had House Centerpedes.
-
Have a good night....Oh an lung dr. called and said it appears that the mass on the chest wall shrunk and the lymph nodes under my arm did also, but then why did the tumor markers go up......this disease is insane!!!
-
I also hate earwigs. Occasionally one would make it into the house.
-
Sandy...We love good news♥
Deb...Centerpedes yuck I see them once in a while.
Both DD's used to go into crisis when they saw one. I was the insect hunter in the house.
Linda...Glad you are better♥
Diane...Friday is the big day. Is it the coming one or next week?
-
YAY Sandy!
-
Sandy...Im sending you to Greece
-
Why do they order the tests, it just scares the shit out you. My CA 27-29 was abnormal and my tumors were both under a CM. Doesn't make sense.
-
Tomorrow DH goes and has our taxes done. He has to go to an accountant cuz we have his business, our personal and my Dad's. Can't wait until it's all over.
-
Tomorrow is double MH day.
It's time for Survivor.
Good Night!!!
♥
-
Why double?
-
My onc doesn't do tumor marker tests. I think they do it if you are a higher stage. She doesn't think they are accurate. I'm not sure how I feel about them.
Good Morning.
Have fun at double MH day! Make it worth while!
Kids are back in school! YAY!! Just in time for spring break!

Whats happening to TOL. Posts are not there
-
Last week when I went for my Bx I asked the Dr. if they couldn't tell it was BC by my tumor marker test. She said she didn't consider it to be indicative of a yes or no, just if you had it it would show if it was it growing. I don't know if that is correct, but I would like to see a black and white test...then they could do the other scans.
-
i hope the problem is fixed soon. I'm posting but I cant see yours.
If anything either PM me or post on CALLING STAGE I SISTERS that thread is working so far. People having the same issues with other threads too.
Good Morning♥
-
Something is very wrong here. I was able to see this much by going to your name and then could get in. Weird.
My med onc won't even do the tumor marker test because he finds it unreliable with too many false results, both positive and negative. My rad onc feels pretty much the same but said if I insisted, he would do it as long as I guaranteed not to freak out. That is not a ringing endorsement for these tests I guess. But I wish we had something more.
-
Having the same problems here!
-
It's working again.
I had my 2 MH visits.
Im fine. Saw father, talked to his DR. Not very good but better. Was sleeping so i came home.
HUGS
