Thanks Elimar. She woke up everybody in NY in the middle of the night.
-
Congrat's Shelia!!!! If you had to get a phone call in the middle of the night, that's the best kinda to get
-
Thank You Michelle.
-
WhooHoo. Sheila is going to be a MIL!
-
So much to celebrate!!!!
Sheila, I'm sure you're over the moon -- and possibly sound asleep! Congrats and soak up the excitement. We love weddings round here!!! This will surely require another trip to Hawaii???
Labbers: I'm extra ecstatic, to post weight loss -- to new lows, two weeks in a row. This is certainly a first for me. Whooooooohoooooooo.
Just back from our 75 minute yoga class and completely disrobed (duh?) and the scale rewarded me by reading: 140.6!!!!! Wed I rode 20.9 miles and yesterday 14.7.
It's so funny, my hubby last night totally minimized our dinner and then he knew enough not to have ice cream on a Thurs night. See what accountability does for us??
BTW: he's lost more this summer than I, on our mutual ELAB plan. I'll have to ask him what his total is to far...... come to think of it, with me hitting this new low, that brings me to EXACTLY 13 pounds since Jan of this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next week is a couple of days on the road, with an all day presentation on Mon., will seriously attempt to behave myself and make better choices. Wouldn't it be crazy good of us to pack a cooler of some fresh fruit, nuts etc for the road trip? What a concept!!!!

Congrats, Faithie. You are an inspiration.
-
Congrats, also, Faithie!!
Good luck everybody!
No loss for me, 1.2 gain.
Happy Friday everyone!

Happy Friday. Congrats to your daughter Seyla, and happy birthday to her. My daughter turns 30 in three weeks - that sounds so old! Congratulations Faith for your weight loss. I am at 125 today and estactic it wasn't more than that - I seem to just be gaining and gaining and it isn't muscle! I signed up for a spinning class on Thursdays after work and joined a health club with the hopes of using it three times a week. Thanks for the inspiration ladies.
-
Thanks labbies...........
S-L-O-W but steady.
I think our 'super-oatmeal' is making a dent. We have it at least twice a week for the evening meal. Sometimes 3 times in a week.
Steel cut, blueberries, peaches, walnuts, bananas -- whatever fresh fruit is available.
Just discovered the Special-K low-flat granola & it makes a great sprinkle on the top.
-
Thank You All for sharing my happiness.♥
I lost 1 pound and I owe it to my DD who excited me so much I couldn't eat.
I weigh 160.
-
Congrats to you Sheila... you will make a great MIL!!!
My weight has fluctuated because of fluid this week my legs are puffy... 148 lbs for me. Still stuck! that's o.k. at least it's not 180lbs anymore!!!
I finally broke and told my hubby what I use to weigh a few months ago and he couldn't believe it. He like to have fell off the couch. Heehee!!! too funny. I'm glad I could tell him how much I've lost and what size I wear now. happy, happy, happy!!
Go E-labbers!!!

Well, I was going to weigh in when I got home from work, and I gained two pounds. I laid down for a short nap and gained two more. I guess I need a new battery for my scale, because every time I sep on the scale the weight changes. btw, I haven't have anything to eat since lunch today. Interesting that I gained two pounds while sleeping and eating nothing. The scale then told me the batery was low.
-
So I got a new battery and put it in. No gain No loss this week. I wonder if I should put a new battery in every time I disagree with the scale.
Congrats to all who have done well this week, and those who haven't done what they expected, you can do it!

Great quote, Meece.
I've added some weekend biking to my usual walking. I'm not getting in the mileage like Faith is, but I'll get my metabolism humming again.
-
That is my goal, too. get my metabolism back on track.
-
Whooooohooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess riding on the back of DH's "bike" doesn't count as excercise, does it?
I went to the chiropractor yesterday. I was so out of whack! makes it hard to excercise when you can't even walk straight.
Think like a loser, girls!!!
-
Went to the health club and walked on the treadmill for 1/2 hour yesterday, today was spinning for 1/2 hour. What a work out for my legs! Hope I see some progress. Good luck this week ladies.
-
My bun-bones used to get so bruised while spinning. I actually walked out of class 3/4 of the way through once. I honestly couldn't spin another second.
-
I so wanted to lose last week to show off my orange pedi. Maybe this week, although I am scheduled for a test @ UCLA at 6:45 am, so with the 2 hour plus drive, I won't be weighing in when I get up at 3:30am.
-
Meece-This is getting freakie. What kinda bike does your DH ride. Mine has a Vstar that is like his mistress. It hurts my back so bad to ride with him and is one of the main reasons I'm trying to get it fixed.
-
A VTX1300. My hip acts up when we ride for any distance unless we've worked up to it. We don't ride much in the heat of the summer, so riding weather is just around the corner.
Paulding, I think you and I must be twins, separated at birth!
-
We don't ride in the heat of summer either. But he can ride well into November here in GA. We really like to ride to Church on Sunday because it's a beautiful ride and the traffic is low and calm.
Funny story: He had a much smaller bike before and he said I could handle it easily as it was an automatic. So I took it down the street, turned around in the Cul-de-sac and dumped it. I have never been allowed to drive again.
-
Whoooooohoooooooo it's Thursday!!
You know what that means? Everybody on their best behavior!!!!!
MOVE MORE. eat less.
MOVE MORE. eat less.
MOVE MORE. eat less.
Meecie girlfriend. I just noticed a 'flaw' in your reporting of the birdies above. Your scale very clearly says: 161.8 , yet our founder's weight in the column is reported as: 162.2????? Please get this discreption rectified at your earliest convenience. I'm racing you to the nextest lowest tenth and want to be sure I know how we each stand. LOL!!!! Give yourself some credit, gf.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Here's the evidence of our ride last weekend. We've had the big-green machine for 12 years and now have over 10,000 miles on it. The bike is in my name as I bought it as a surprise for dearie.
-
Isn't that funny? I was in such a hurry to post the pictuer, I forgot to change the stats.
I have to drink 32 oz of water first thing in the morning. You realize that's about 2 lbs or more?
-
Im still in a celebration eating mood.
Today I finish the rest of the Gorgonzela cheese to celebrate Paulding's good news.
No weight check in for me this Friday.
-
158 at clinic I'm sure to gain it all back this weekend!!!
Guess I missed this topic. B9!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am going on vacation for a week so I will not be available for any help or advise! I will return to the computer on September 14th!
Jenn
-
We'll miss you, Jenn!
I weighed unofficially yesterday and was 161.4. After what seems to have been drinking a gallon of water this morning, hopefully when I get home I will not have gained too much.
CONGRATULATIONS, PAULDING! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOUR B9 RESULTS!!!! You done good, girl!
