Dear friends of our very own Saint.

I have finally finished my first 'movie' and have been able to get it uploaded to YouTube.

It is a four minute long montage of daisy photographs that I took last summer..... set to my daughter playing the oboe. Anyhow, Pat was such a HUGE part of this project. She was such an encouragement to my learning about photography, my camera, making the most of the subject etc. Many of these daisies I captured during the week that they stayed with us last summer.

Then I had encouragement from the website LOOP, to share the photos, which then prompted me to get them organized into the movie-format.

If you watch till the second to the last final frame you will see the dedication picture for Pat.

I hope that the video brings you a sense of calm. It is offered as a meditation. I know that Pat is smiling down that I have gotten it finished. (In spite of the fact that my computer ate the whole thing on one occasion -- that's one of the last times that saint had to talk me down from the ledge.)

    Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KMMWvMVTko&feature=autofb

    Coonie and Faith,

When you are here you can visit our pandas in the zoo ( the only ones in the southern hemisphere), we will be 20 mins from great vineyards and we have a wicked chocolate factory.

     See you soon,

    Viv

Gosh Girls I dont know,  I guess I had a great doctor.

I had double mascetomy on Oct 6, went on a cruise Nov. 16 and 3 weeks after my surgery, I was cleaning like crazy getting ready for my next surgery.  My mascetomy was a breeze. However, My ins. company Blue Cross Blue Shield has a paitient advocate that calls me about every 3 weeks and she givees me resources on things. one was a group in Atlanta that comes out and cleans your house for you if you are not able. Might wanna check with your ins. compnay for some help.

I had reconstructive in Dec 11 and had a DIEP, is was not so bad either.

Maybe 3 weeks recovery and I was cleaning again, and I had a major infection in my belly incesion but the only inconvience was I had to change my packing 2 times a day, which was gross, but not really any pain associated with it.

Ah Mum, maybe it was routine and not mentioned? I would think they'd want to do it. I refused a mammo on my LE side and they were pretty pissed at me, told me they did mammo's on LE areas all the time! I said I DON'T! The non-LE side was fine, but what'd they get..1 inch maybe? Then had the balls to send me a "good news, you're all clear, see you in FIVE years" notice! FIVE years???? I might not be alive in FIVE years!! Yell Can you tell it upset me???

Hey Mum!!!!! It's probably all routine tests......but it's still nerve-wracking!!! Sending you big hugs and prayers that everything will turn out A-OK!!!!!!

Nancy....so glad you're getting down to the last few boxes. Are you enjoying your new place? Do you have it all decorated yet? Moving is such a hard thing to do. When we moved in our house about 17 years ago, we decided our next move would be to the nursing home.......and then our DD could handle that one........LOL.

Sharon, please send #32 for me and I'll be glad to come clean your houseWink I don't figure it's too messy anyway, so it would be a fun cleaning day.

Sending each of you big hugs today!!!!

    TGIF!!!!

I'm bad did the housecleaning this morning the cat was looking at me like I was crazy.Worse part of it was i realized I need to do some serious spring cleaning this month. In a big house it is easy to collect stuff that you never use.Keeping busy is helping me get my mind off worrying. Wish #32 could make it up to Canada.I would love to see you gals.

    Whoooooo!!!

The earth moved for me last night.  We had a earthquake here in Adelaide around 4 on the richter scale.  I know that it may be small for some of you but this thing only happens about every 25 years.

Sad thing I was so tired , I commented it was probably a truck and went straight back to sleep.

So much for having excitement in my life.

    Hugs to all

    Viv

    ((((((((((((((mum))))))))))))))))))

Vivy...I remember once when my dh and I lived in Wyandotte, Michigan.  I was on the fifth floor at a hospital I was working at taking a man's blood and the whole top of the building swayed.  Weird.  People in the cafetaria had their trays sliding off the tables.  For some reason dh was home that day and said the picture frames on the wall were moving and the dishes in the cupboard were clacking.  It's quite an experience.

Hope all you dustbunnies have a blessed day!!!!  xoxoxo

Hi everyone:   Last night I took a break from unpacking and went to the Relay for Life (American Cancer Society event)...   Since it was a long hike back up the hill to the parking lot, they offered me a ride on the golf cart shuttle.   On the way there, it caught on fire - we were not hurt.   Called 911 and 4 police cars arrived, but not one of them directed traffic away.

Here is the "visual" - I am 5'9" tall, wearing my embellished pink bra with swirlies, carrying a purple tote bag, 2 pink roses in the other hand.   I am waving traffic away from turning onto the street with a 10 foot high flaming, smoking golf cart halfway down the street.

I am off to see the grand baby in a bit and hopefully no excitement today...   Hugs, Nancy

    OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOsh!!!!!!!!!

    Nancy.

    Thank heavens you were ok.

Sounds like it could have been a skit on Saturday Night Live.

Your description of the mayhem brought a smile to my face.

    Take care.

And not one stitch of housework for the rest of the season.

    You've been traumatized!!

    xx00xx00xx00xx

And Vivvvvvvy Girl with an earthquake.

Goodness gracious bunnies. Take good care of yourselves. This planet is a dangerous place to play. We must be alert. Sharon make certain that you have #32 undergo a maintenance check before traveling the high seas.
