Oh gosh Mum. The relief is palatable!!!
To be honest. In celebration I'm all for declaring it a housework free week/month/whatever.
So glad for you.
Gentle hugs Dusty Buns.

Nice pun Arnie!!! Bushed....get it...ehehehehehehe
-
Mum that's great news on the scans! I'm joining in the happy dance.
Arnie congrats on your gardening job, I'm delighted for you.
Today at work I was talking to another member of staff who knows I had cancer, but doesn't know all the details. She thought my very short hair cut was just something I did on purpose, she had no idea I had chemo and wore a wig at one stage. It gave be a bit of a boost to know that I don't look like 'cancer girl' any more.
Hugs xoxo

Great news, mumayan !!! Hugs for all. one more box to unpack, but it is buried in the corner behind stuff to be put away. Dinner tomorrow night with a friend. Keep happy, Nancy
-
Mum ... Wonderful news!
Barbe ... I think that mammogram was totally stupid and I don't blame you one bit for refusing it on the 'bad' side. After the rehab center made my foot worse ... I really spoke up - don't touch it, not wearing a shoe on it, change the bandage twice each day. I was so protective of that foot I'm sure I drove the staff crazy but I don't care. Its my foot for goodness sake!
Arnie ... I am joining you too in the happy dance!
Lucy ... (((HUGS))).

Faith I'm so pleased your presentation went well. I never doubted it would, you are such an inspiration how could they not love you as much as we do? Isn't it fantastic to know you can get your life back?
Nancy it sounds like you are settling into your new apartment well if you have unpacked all but one box. I hope you will be very happy there.
Barbe I had never even heard of doing a mammogram on someone who had a full mastectomy. I agree with Kathleen - stupid!
Shiny wherever you are I hope all is going well and you will soon be home again.
Take care buns. xoxo

I had an oncologist appt yesterday too, and he said I was doing remarkably well,........uummmm errrrhhh, weelllllllll except for the gaining weight thing, but when I told him I was doing Curves every morning for about 1.5 hours 4 days a week, he thought that sounded like a good plan. And I was able to tell him that I do FEEL so much BETTER!!!!! Don't go back for another 4 months.....yippeeee.

-
Happy Birthday Regina Hope you are feeling good and have a great day. I have a suprise for you next time I see you.
-
This might sound like a crazy question, but I am concerned. I sweep daily due to the fact I have two siberian huskies who shed like crazy. I am having a bmx with recon on 5/5 and I was wondering how long it will be before I can vacuum my house without having to depend on others. Thanks. Allison
-
Happy Birthday Dream!
Allison, sweeping wouldn't be too bad, but it'll be tough to bend over. Vacuuming depends on how heavy the vacuum is...

Hi there Loveys!
I am back at home, we were flown home (thank God not the threathened scenario or plane, bus, ferry, bus 3 day + treck that could have been). All and all we managed quite well, and although the uncertainty on return date for my DS was unsettling the visual time table and holiday routines we instaled made the "adventure" managable for my him. DD just loved the children's disco, and learned all the movements to the multilingual songs, DS joined in too. The brilliant weather on week 2 sure helped us appreciate the circumstances. We arrived in the wee hours of Thursday, I was sleep walking all of yesterday and had both kids home. Just DS today, trying to plan his return to school for Monday and my Mum's visit is coming to an end.
I did "write to you in the sand", but am too silly tired and lemonette to figure out how to put them on. So you can have a chuckly when months from now, I call Coonie, and get round to posting them with her support call guidance!! he he
I tried to read back a wee bit, but am sooo behind. I gather Mummayan got a real scare and it turned out Ok!! brill, ahhh such a releif. xx
Thank you for sending me your good thaughts.
I think it is best if I try to get "back to the routine here" next week and then call one of you for a verbal catch up, so I know what is happening with you all!
xx nighty night

So very, very happy to have your report of safe arrival home.
Can only imagine what your DS must have thought -- with so many unknowns.
Glad the weather cooperated.
Now rest up and get back to us next week!!

Hallelujah! I am really concerned about sweeping in the midst of all of this for some stupid reason. A bit OCD I suppose. Thanks.
-
I am a bit late, but hearty HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Dream. And glad Shiny and family are back home, safe and sound. Hugs for all. Nancy
-
Dreamwriter,
H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y !!!!!!!

Happy Birthday, Regina!........Hope you have a wonderful, painfree day!.....
Mumayan, Congratulations on B9 results!!!........Happy dancing for you too...
Shiny, so glad to hear you made it home safe and sound........What an adventure to tell your friends and family!.....
((((Faith)))) so glad you are having a wonderful time with your travels again......Please do give details on your adventures......I LOVE your stories!.....I feel like I was there everytime...........
Arnie, I spent Wednesday in my yard and ended up with a bad case of poison ivy!......It ia all over my fingers on my right hand and the weird part is I had a glove on on that hand!.....The other hand was gloveless and I have but a small spot on that hand.....I think the glove itself had the poison on it already and it was dry but when I went and watered I got the glove wet and activatd the ivy juice.......Ah welll...Off to the doc on Monday for shots as this is the only way I can get rid of the stuff......
I love all my dust bunny hutch family and hope you al have a superduper Saturday...... -
Hopeful34..... as you may be able to tell from our jolly good chatter, this thread that started out as a 'housework-motivational-support' has evolved into a bunch of good buddies who do our best to resist much around the house.
We welcome you to our midst of 'non-cleaning' and wish you well with your upcoming surgery.
I think I'm probably the most recent in our bunch to have had surgery (BILAT, mid-Jan) and I have to tell ya I certainly wouldn't have done any vaccuming anytime soon. I know that's not really what you wanted to hear, but I wasn't capable of such for at least a couple of weeks -- even had I been motivated.
My best suggestion is to enlist a group of friends on vaccum detail. People always want to have something to do to be of help. This will give you an assignment that 'anyone' can contribute to.
OMG. I just went to look where you're from!! OHIO!! I could almost come and vaccum for you. LOL. (I still don't vaccum our house, as of yet. LOL..... riding this train as long as I can get away with it.) Any chance you're gonna walk the Komen next month??
xx00xx00xx00xx
-
Just to let you all know I am walking the Komen on May 8th in Celebration of all who have survived and in Honor of those we have lost...........
If you want your name on my poster board please PM me........ -
Lucy, can you put my name on your board as I can't walk?
-
Absolutley Barbe!......It will be my pleasure and honor to walk for you............
-
Happy Sunday to all my dusty bunnies!........No housework for me as I have a bad case of poison ivy!.....Itchy itchy itchy!......LOL p>
-
((((( Shiny )))))
Girl!!!!!!!!!! It's so good to see you made it home. I guess this will be one vacation you'll always remember, huh?
Sure hope things are settling back down to normal and the kiddos are back to their routine.......and mummy and daddy too
Sending ya'll big hugs and kisses!!
Welcome Hopeful!!! Step away from the broom !! LOLOL...........take advantage of ANY and ALL housekeeping help you can get. Enjoy it while it lasts:) So glad you found us even though the circumstances aren't that great. There's some awesome ladies here!!
Lucy---I feel so bad for you with poison ivy. I'm highly allergic too and that stuff is horrible. Just make sure you don't scratch your eyes........or other sensitive places
Hope you feel better soon.
Happy Birthday Dream!!!! I'm so sorry I missed your special day! I hope it was wonderful for you!
Big hugs to all you bunnies!!!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!
-
((((((((Bunnies))))))))))
I certainly hope none of you are CLEANING!!!
It sure is quiet around the bunny patch lately
