I had lunch with 3 of my chemo buddies and a decadent apple caramel pie with ice cream on top for dessert. Then one of the gals and I walked around the mall and I found a couple of things I needed - one being a new bathrobe - on sale for 60% off. I would never pay the full price for "just" a bathrobe, but this reduced price fit into my budgeted amount.
Then I went to the grocery store, with a very full tummy, and the rack of lamb was on sale - what we are planning to have for Christmas dinner. I was hoping to win a bingo or 2 before I needed to shop, as it is pretty pricey. Since the butcher was starting to close the "fresh" meat counter, he offered it to me at an additional discount. I got a major bargain and it is now in my freezer waiting for the holiday festivities.
Hugs and healing vibes and blessings, Nancy

Tried to hook up my laptop to phone modum, but they changed the software and we must download different connection.
Had my first piece of birthday cake of the season. LOL
We spent the day w hubby's family & several of us have dec b days. Nothing like a yellow & green John Deere cake to get ya in the mood.

Vivvy, is that an English bulldog?? Because I just LOVE them!
A quick hello, girls. Am getting over a head cold on top of the asthma which I think is probably radiation pneumonitis. I swear to god, I just get a grip on one cancer-related pain-in-the-butt side effect, and I end up with another. It would seem that I'll never run out of material to blog about, that's for sure.
Love you all. Hugs to all. Cough, cough...
