-
I'm here too - just really busy.
Jazzy & Susie ~ You have both shown such amazing strength and grace throughout all of these setbacks. I am hoping you both are on the mend and it's all uphill from now on!
Robin ~ Are you doing okay? I've been thinking about you.
Peg

Teresa: What are the results of your scan? I am so sorry you are going through all of this honey! I was laughing though, with your description of your doctor "BOUNCING" about the room. She should be flogged...
Joyce: Please let us all know about your PS appointment today. PM me please!!!
-
Peg -- Thanks for asking about me. My tattoos are healing -- my soul is not. Some days are worse than others. Laura and Deb and the support from this site have helped so much. I'll get through it in time.
-
THERE YOU ARE STEPHANIE!! If I did see you post soon... I was gonna call you...! You NEVER really want me to call.. as I talk faster on the phone than I type...LOL... I am glad dh is ok!
Ladies.. great to see you all checking in!
We need to have our dear Tracey start a Ta Ta thread for Vegas 2010....:)
-
These are my grandkids -- this is what makes it all worthwhile. Cute as can be, aren't they?
-
Guilty of lurking
myself.Sorry - lots of stress right now - my horse keeps busting fences jumping out of her original outside pen and then she impaled her back leg on something so I had the vet come out weekly for 3 weeks. Finally got to ride her today after she has been laid off for one month. I had to move her into a huge outdoor round pen which has 5' high solid walls - she can't bust out of there! Been on a waiting list for a stall for one month now. The barn manager finds her around 6 am when he gets up to start feeding the horses and she is out just wandering around as though she has done nothing wrong. I have had to pay out $544 in vet bills for the last 4 weeks.
Started tamoxifen 2 weeks ago. Not sleeping well as I am having hot flashes that wake me up 3-4 times a night so I am not getting good rest at all.
I haven't been looking for a job - the economy really sucks here and I don't want to deal with rejection right now.
The great news is that my hair is starting to really grow. I have 3" now!!! Yipppeeeee! I even had my first baby trim and frosting done on my hair this week. I wake up looking like crap - major bedhead but applying some of that molding clay stuff really helps.
Think about all of ya'll all of the time!
-
Mellisa.. EFFEXOR for the Hot Flashes... this drug saved my life..... I only have about 3 hotflashes a day now.. and NONE when I am sleeping..... Ask your doctor for it! ::(hugs)

Hey Sista's I know we are here for each other & I just read something on FB late last nite & found out it was true. A friend of mine posted a heart breaking story of a 5 year old losing his battle with Cancer after 2 1/2 years. His mother-"Diana", has reached out asking other's to send Christmas cards-"NOAH'S" favorite holiday & she is celebrating it this weekend with tree & all the trimmings-he's not expected to make it for Christmas. Aurora wanted to draw Noah a picture & we put together a small package with that & a couple of cards & some sticker's & her photo. She want's to be his friend. We know hard it its to go thru Cancer, can you imagine how hard it is for a mother to see her child go thru it!! Here is the address incase anyone wants to send a card, our's will be getting there late, but it will keep his spirit's up.
Noah Biorkman 1141 Fountain View Circle South Lyon, MI 48178 Mother-Diana
On another note-Thank you for all your prayers & constant support!!!!
Take care Chow XOXO Susie

I'm here too - just swamped. My youngest son is going to get a second cochlear implant and I'm finally going to talk with a surgeon about reconstruction. I keep reading all your posts and it helps me to stay strong. Thanks all for being here.
-
Aloha to all my sisters, from sunny Maui! Just checking in per Laura's instructions.

It's the first time I've been on a computer in a week, which is great, except I miss you all! I just had to get on to see if everyone was OK.
Love and Aloha to all!
Diane

Great Job Sandy on the video-Jazzy way to go as always, the link works!!!! VEGAS IS CALLING OUT TO US-THEY NEED US BACK FULL OF OUR SPIRIT!!!! THE TATA SISTERHOOD DANCE TEAM!!!
Mailing out our package to "NOAH" today.
Just found out the other day that I lost a Dear friend-her heart gave out, survivor of Breast Cancer for 15 years, had to take the 2nd breast just last year-Cancer came back. The Drugs they used back then did serious damage to her heart & she's never been the same. They just found out she had pancre Cancer as well."Murial" shared the same birthday as my Daughter & her anniversay just happen to be the same day as losing my MOM. Murial would've been 69 in December, my Mom would've been 69 last month-October. Murial always was a big part of my life & included Aurora in her's just like if she was her very own granddaughter-she always sent the regilious Santa letter to Aurora & asked to be able to do that till she couldn't, now I get to continue the letter in her memory. I taught Murial's daughters dance. Made the trip to Portland to see her hubby-"DEAN" & give Love plus support. He is holding his own and reminds me of my Dad. Dean is 1 year older than my dad-he now has to look after Murial's dog just like my dad has to look after my mom's. I think this is good, gives them something positive to keep busy & take care of and knowing how much their pet's meant to their wifes is always a plus in my book.
Love to all of you Take care Chow XOXO Susie
