OK I can't stop going over to snapfish. It sure makes me feel good looking at those pics! :-)
Well girls I have another TaTa Tuesday and I can hardly wait!!! I check in at 5:30am Tuesday morning!! I can hardly wait! I need to go shopping today so there will be food in the house for the family while I'm away. Oh and clean this place up a bit....maybe...if I have time.

I think we need to start planning our trip...remember how happy it made us feel just planning? I think we should do that even if we don't follow through on anything we talk about doing. It just feels good to all be planning something fun together!
THE TATA SISTERHOOD ROCKS!!
HUGS!

Teresa.. anyone should do these things for one another. I am just going to the doctor with a friend.. you are worth it!
I am very jealous of Deborah and Packer! But so happy for the both of you too! Wonderful!
I am not going to be on much the next few days.... so don't worry.. I am sick and it is tiring to type... I also have my last treatment tomorrow.. I am very emotional about this.
Jazzy... SO GOOD luCK TO YOU TUESDAY! You are in my thoughts.
-
I took a look at the new pictures today also and perused through the rest of them. I really didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this trip and have to be honest in telling you that there were several times prior to boarding the plane that I had some serious misgivings about meeting up with a bunch of people I had never met. It can certainly be depressing talking to a bunch of people who have had cancer if you let it be.
But I was so pleasantly surprised! Everyone was so fabulous and I find myself missing each of you. I'm so glad I did it. Cancer can sometimes turn into a solitary journey and how lucky am I that I get you lovely ladies to make it a fun one.
Laura-feel better and don't worry about having the emotions about the end of treatment. It is like jumping off a cliff when you are done and having faith that you have done everything you can to kick cancer's tail. I just noticed that you were diagnosed on my youngest daughter's birthday so thought I would share a little piece of her with you to make you smile. I was diagnosed in May of 2008 and of course had to explain to my kids that I would lose my hair due to chemo. My girls were very understanding and said all of the right things like "it doesn't matter mom, you will still be beautiful". But later, my youngest daughter came up and asked me, "Mom, it's OK if you are bald, but you won't be bald on my birthday will you?" I wasn't.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Tracy

Hi ladies I miss you all so much...
I've been dealing with a cold all week
I thought I felt a little better yesterday and joined my friends on a bike ride
this was the 1st time I've done anything since my big hike
I think I may have over done it because felt really tough after the ride
but it sure was good seeing friends I hadn't seen in a while
thinking of all my sisters...
-
Packer I'm sure your thrilled the packers won (at least that's what my hubby told me)
the girl that sits behind me at work..her hubby went to the game
I was tempted to stow away with him so I could see you
funny thing u might have still been in CA

Hello my BEAUTIFUL TA TAS...LOL
I dont have time to read all the post but I plan on it this week! I am off to the plastic surgeon to get my nipples and a fat graft this morning! I will check back in later.
My young friend with the lung proble is now in the hospital fight for her life. They put her on a ventilator to help her breath. Her tumor is STILL growing! BREAST CANCER MUST BE CURED! Pray for her please!
Laura..cant wait to see you at the end of the month!
Jazzy if you already had your surgery...heal well!
Love ya ladies!

-
Tracey -- good luck with your surgery today. Let us know how it goes. Also, so sorry about your friend. That is so sad. Sending healing vibes to you both.
-
Tracey, so sorry about your friend....we need a cure now. I am praying for her recovery.
The best to you and your new nipps......can't wait to hear from you....
Laura !!!!!!! you need to get better....you have a big day coming up...can't miss that one....Praying that you are feeling better as I type this.
Linda
-
Tracey: So sorry that your friend has to go through all this. Hoping for her recovery..
LAURA: For heavens sake, get rid of whatever that is -- no time for it now...Out, Out Out..Begone!!
-
Tracey I am praying for your friend and the doctors who are treating her. I am sitting here with tears running down my face. It just breaks my heart. She is so young, why does this happen? Why not to somebody like me who has lived an awesome life, why did I get so lucky? URGH Actually we all should be so lucky! We need to find a cure so everybody is lucky! Dammit!
My nails continue to recede and they look horrid. The tips of my fingers are very sensitive since that skin isn't use to being exposed. Onc still thinks it's from chemo I think it's from herceptin.
Laura I hope you are feeling better and are completly recovered by the 28th!!
I also hope everybody else who has been battling sickness is getting better as well!
I'm counting hours now until my surgery!! I check in at 5:30am. Gotta make sure and do my hibiclens.
Not too sure when I will be able to check in, but I'm getting a new phone and it will have internet access! I've never had such a fun gaget! I will be playing with it in the hospital so we'll see if I can figure it out.
I hope all of you will have an AWESOME week!!
HUGS!!!!!!!!

Hello Ladies,
Well I wishI had good news about my friend but I do not. She is still on the ventillator and it looks like she will not be getting off of it. They drained her lung and tried to take her off but she was unable to breath without it. She is alert enough to let us know things by shaking her head yes or no. The docs say there is nothing more they can do but keep her comfortable. It really broke my heart when she was asked if she wanted to see her kids 4 and 6, and she shook her head no. I know it is because she doesnt want them to see her in that state. The tears stream down her face at times when we must leave or when we talk to her sometimes. I think she knows that this is it. I however continue to pray that God heals her. I am so sorry to post this because it is so so sad, but it is the reality of the wicked disease!! IT NEEDS TO BE CURED!!!
Just know that I love you all and feel honored to call each and every one of you my sister!
Sincerely!
Tracey

BTW surgery went well, and the nips look great so far. I also had some fat grafts done I hope they hold up. When they heal I will post on the pic forum.
-
((((( Tracey )))))) Reading your post regarding your friend brought tears to my eyes. You and your friend are in my thoughts and prayers.
-
Tracey, I am so sorry to hear this. Does your friend have photo's with her of her kids & family? I know how hard it can be not wanting your kid's to see you when things don't look good-but please let me tell you from my experience...All I wanted to do was hold my daughter close & tell her how much I loved her when I was told things didn't look good for me. I had my hubby bring photo's & had them taped on the walls so I could see my family anytime I needed. I think it helped her as well as my hubby, she had just turned 3, we were seperated for 2 weeks cause I got worst, but I was able to talk to her on the phone-something your friend can not do. I know we have to do what we fill is right for us & our kids-I wish & pray for a miracle to turn things around. Does she pray too? Thanx for keeping us all up dated & we are here for you as well as your friend& her family.
Healing prayer's your way also!
Take care Chow God bless Tracey & her friend please LORD XOXO Susie
-
Tracey, I am so sad hearing this...Hoping for a miracle...JUDY

I posted this on EC but I know some of you don't spend time on that thread...
My surgery was yesterday and it all seemed to go smoothly! I slept the entire day and most of this morning. My daughter brought me my computer tonight so I'm able to check in. She will be sleeping over with me here in the hospital.
Yes I do have pain low on my tummy where my incision is from the hysterectomy. I have no feeling my my breasts so I'm good there. My ps told me that I will be black and blue where he lipo-ed.
I shoukd be able to go home tomorrow or Friday.
I hope all is well here!
HUGS!
-
Tracey, Im praying for a miracle!
-
Jazzy -- So glad you are doing well. Was the lipo done for fat grafts?
Robin
-
Tracey, I am so heart broken about the news of your friend. I will be praying that God will heal her so that she can be there for her childen.
Also, I am so thrilled that you have nipples. I cannot wait to see pictures...I do hope that yours heals faster than mine did.
-
Robin the lipo was to get rid of the side fat! On the sides of my boobs under my armpits. I felt like I had 4 boobs! It was truly discusting!
