Great News Jazzy!!! Read your web site too!!! I wanted so badly to come & visit......after you mentioned your feeling about not being sexy...If you can picture this....I wanted to walk into your hospital room playing the 2 songs I can't get out of my head with you in mind..."Rod Stewart-If ya Think I'm Sexy" & "I believe in Miracle's-you Sexy thing' can't recall the artist. Just so ya know-I've got Jazzy on my mind!!!! Thanx for the link to hook up for the Pic forum. She has already replied to me & now I need to sign up. Say on another note-did you get the site from Susan G. Komen of photo's taked during the race in Portland??? I did & gave it to Bryan & he found a great shot of his back side witht the Pink ribbon hanging off his Butt & the sign on his back-Really neat!
Surgery date is on for November 23rd-Monday. No time set as of yet, but I'll be the 1st. My surgeon is keeping close eyes on me & seeing him every week & the surgeon from OHSU Porltand is going to try & be here for this procedure, wants to see Dr. Maccabee at work. Was suppose to take 6-8 months to heal from last surgery & I'm only 2 months out-so the longer we can wait, the safer & faster this surgery will be on both of us along with the healing. But due to the nature of the situation now-it has gotten worst & dealing with some more complications, we don't have that time on our hands anymore. For now is a waiting game & if I do take another turn, need to head to ER-lot's of rest time on couch. There is quite abit of unspeakable pain and at time's I can barely walk down our hall. Will be spending at least a week-Thankgiving included, Dr. David M. said he would bring me a plate of turkey,I told him that the hospital pampered me last year with a yummy Turkey dinner with all the trimming's & Pumpkin pie -so sure to expect it again. 2 years in a row spending Thanksgiving in the hospital, different surgeries, but hopefully won't repeat Christmas as well.
So as not to drag this on too long-I'll fill you all in later on what we are going to do to fix this hernia.
Take care all my wonderful sista's Chow XOXO Susie

Hi Everyone,
Ok for the update. I met with Laura's guy. Looks like he's going to be my guy! I liked him. He seemed very upfront. He answered all my questions and didnt treat me like they were questions I shouldn't be asking. I hate that. He will use HP...YEA!....and a larger implant as well as moving them back up north when they should be living!
No decision has been made as far as when but he is willing to do it as soon as his schedule would allow. I have to check on work and since it will be out of town, that has me a bit concerned. I worry about if I need to see him or have a concern that a quick office visit would take care of, I have to drive 2 1/2 hrs.
Has anyone else had a surgeon that was out of town?
btw thank you so much Laura for coming to the appointment. I really enjoyed seeing you again.

Laura, I have no idea what I deleted. I just think it was user error! I am with the grandkids today, so I am OK. Going to Gavin's soccer game today. Watching little kids run around the field trying to kick the ball keeps your mind off other negative things!
Monday is tattoo day. I am very nervous about that for some reason. I am worried about color and size.
-
Robin: You'll do fine..Be sure they draw in the size you want..Take your time with it..
JUDY -
I'm sooooo excited!!! Just placed my 1st order of photo's off shutterfly to put into my "TATA SISTERHOOD" Scrap book. So Sista's-when you get a chance, download those photo's............ PLEASSSSSSSSSEEEE!! Love to all & just big smile looking at our trip photo's-can't wait for next year.
Take care Chow XOXO Susie

Robin.. the tats are gonna be good! I can understand the fear there... I really can... think positive.. it is gonna be great!
Kybell...... where have you been? How are you doing lady?
-
OK ladies-those of you who have had their nipples done. I have a question. I want to try to get in this year to get mine done while my deductibles are all paid up. My surgeon wants to do the "twist" method (don't know the official name of this-or I just can't remember it) and wants to use skin from my eyelid for the aerola. I am pretty nervous about taking tissue from my eyelid as I really don't want to look like Rocky Balboa. Anyone have it taken from anywhere else??
Tracy
-
well... I have seen the inner thigh skin used ( NVDiane) and WOW... totally real looking.
If you use the upper eyelid though... you get a FREE eye lift... wahooooooooooooooooo... even better!
Upper and lower eyelid surgery is no biggie... You saw me in Vegas.. I had my lower lids done just for cosmetic before Vegas.. ( well July)... did I look like Rocky...LOL LOL...
There is ONE lady here who did her upper eyelids ( only for cosmetic reasons at her exchange).. she looks GREAT and NOT like Rocky... lol... I she sees this.. I bet she will PM you.. it is not my place to rat her out...BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
So to use your upper lid skin... could be a double AWESOME! I look forward to seeing your progress... I hope you can end this journey this year too Tracy!
-
Tracy..my PS used my belly...my scar is fairly long. My mom's daughter had the same procedure. If i had use my eyelids, I'm quite sure my eyes would be flipped inside out. I didn't get a chance to show you when we met at Red Robin, but you can look on the pic site and see them. I had the skate flap (twist method) and had my aureola's grafted from my belly. Look around on the pic site before you choose.
Just a thought.....not a judgement
Kathie
-
Tracy , Wren on these boards used her excess eyelid skin to make her areolas. I asked my PS about doing with method and he told me that I would not have enough excess the make two areolas. I think he did not want to do it. He used some excess skin at the top of my LD flaps. I have the skate flap nipples.

Teresa so excited for you
my 1st ps was about 2 hours away

Teresa
-
Oh my goodness ladies- I am so far behind in catching up on posts. My schedule has had me offline for some time-- but I have been thinking about you all so much! I am apologize for being so busy that I haven't had time to check in much. I have much more of the crazies ahead. One of my dearest friends passed unexpectedly Friday morning and I have much to do with that plus a travel schedule that is relentless. Just know your on my minds and I miss you.
Susie and Jazzy- Hope you are on the mend. Theresa- May the hurt heal - glad the new PS is the guy. Deborah- You are amazing and it was great to see you. Tracie- Gosh my heart breaks for you and your friend.
Hugs- Over and out for now

-
Packer--It's so great to hear from you! We've all been missing you! Take care of yourself, hon...
Hugs,

Thanx as always for the support & Prayers Girls. I saw my Dr./surgeon today & with the condition's I'm now having-should be going in for surgery tomorrow, but....the increase in pain is like a roller coaster-up one day & then ok the next. Not able to keep any food down for the past 2 days-I thought what a great weight loss program(not the healthiest-LOL LOL), so it is now a waiting game day to day & if I start losing more weight & the pain increase's-I head in. My goal is to make it thru this Halloween weekend of plans with Aurora. Bryan joked around saying I was tying to stay out due to the MICHAEL JACKSON MOVIE-"THIS IS IT",by the way I'm going to see today at 4:30 hopefully. For those of you on FB, Thank you for the quick responce

Tomorrow will mark the 3rd year since I lost my Mother. Some have asked how....she was driving home on the old hwy in The Dalles, there were 2 loose horses, one impacted her as she came around a corner(day lite saving's-5:30-extremely black)another car had slowed down to avoid hitting a horse-her car after the impact kept going & hit the guardrail & passed to the other side, the other car had seen one headlite coming towards them & pulled over where they couldn't go anywhere else, her car bumped into their's & then bursted in flames catching their car on fire & the hillside. The roof of her car was pushed all the way down past the steering wheel-then with the fire-burned beyond recognition. I held a candle lite memorial for her at the site the 1st year at the time of the accident, then last year was too ill to go there and did it here & will do it again tomorrow. Another reason I don't want to go to the hospital. Don't worry, I don't play around when it comes to my health-I've got hubby watching me as well. I hope you all don't mind me sharing this with you-my Mother was my best friend & I miss her terribly, but I know she is in a wonderful place & watches over me constantly. Shortly after losing her is when my medical journey started. It's get's hard as the date draws near.
Love you all-Thanx for the listening ears!! Will keep you posted Take care Chow XOXO

Hi Everyone ~ Laura wanted me to copy what she wrote on EC and paste it here.
Estepp wrote:
First I am praising our Father for His mercy with our dear Karen.. I want to cry tears of happiness but my eyeballs hurt to bad.
Karen.. I am so happy for you sister. So happy.
Obviously I am home. Surgery was at 7:30am. We got home at 11:00am
Capsulectomy... OUCH... revision on bags under eyes...( insision on the inside so I am super blurry and eyesball HURT)..... moles and a skin cancer taken off ( no pain).. and bigger implants.
Dr. R could only get 500cc. in there. He said even that was hard. I m tight in there and he said I am just tiny... ( WHATEVER..lol).. We are hoping just going up 50cc will help with the rippling. We are not super positive about this. He said he was going to try to get 600 in if he could.. after opening me.. he said " NO WAY, this little gal might get 500..." So this is what I got.
Laides. this time.. I hurt... but I can handle it. I cannot really see to type... due to the blury eye...( WIERD).. so no spell check for me...lol....
Thank you all from the top of my head to the bottom of my piggy's for your prayers and thoughts for me. I love yu !
if I feel up to it.. I will check in later...
If anyone knows how to copy and paste... could you post this post to the Ta Ta Vegas thread and ( Angel) my Catholic thread...Night Night....

Hi everyone, just wanted to jump on and say hi. Ive been working out like crazy and watching my food intake. I am determined to get rid of this chemo...menopause weight gain! I have surgery in 5 weeks and 4 days (Im kind of excited, can't you tell.) so hopefully I can loose some. Has anyone here tried the WII Fit? I have one but I have opened it yet...I think Ive had it for like...a year LOL.
I hope everyone is doing good.

OK I need a safe place to vent....so here goes. I had a sinus infection and fluid in the ear (so the doctor said). He put me on levaquin for 10 days. I have taken 8 so far, last night I could not sleep. So much pressure in my head, I am so dizzy especially when I was in bed. So in the dark of night I let my "fear" start whispering in my ear....she likes to kick me when Im down....she said hey your triple negative, positive nodes...3 year window is crucial and your almost 2 years out....its said to come back in the brain when it does. She went on and on, that by morning I was on the way to my doctors office. I had to see a different doctor because my doc didn't have any open slots, that wants to extend my antibiotics and she added steriods for swelling, of course though my ears looked ok. That doctor stood there smiling at me....telling me lets just try this for a while and if that doesn't work then we can visit the possibility of scans....I wanted to slap her. I know that sounds shocking right? I want to slap that smiling face, this doctor who was talking to me like Im completely imbalanced...maybe I am but this doctor, who is not my doctor, with her perfect real breast who probably wouldn't know what its like to loose her hair and live with my new friend, damn it. Well anyways she bounces out of the room (she REALLY DID BOUNCE, I think that should be grounds for loosing her liscense personally) so as Im leaving in tears of course, I run into my doctor who after hearing me through the tears, scheduled me for a sinus and brain CT tomorrow.
thank you for listening to me.
