Leesa, I agree with Sheila. Please don't say goodbye! However, if you do feel the need for a break from these boards, I hope things work out for you and that you find peace and contentment. Lots of love, Jane xoxo

It's always something.....today my onc's office called to tell me that my liver enzymes are elevated.  I guess I've been drinking more wine than normal.  The stress from the house is getting to me.  Maybe I should try yoga or something Undecided.  Anyway, I have to go back in a couple of days to have another blood draw.  Hopefully, the results are better.

    Hugs,

    Karen

(((((Karen))))). Have there been delays with your house building or is it just the general stress of building? Best wishes for a good result with your next blood test. xxx

Thanks Jane.  You're so sweet.  The whole house building process is very exciting, but then I start thinking about the financial repercussions.  How are we going to afford this??  It makes me crazy.  I'm just hoping that the liver enzymes are high because of the alcohol I've been drinking, and not something more sinister Frown.

    Hugs,

    Karen

Happy Belated B'day Sheila!!! Wishes for many more Young years ahead!!

    Karen, I am sure it's nothing...just stress!

I just got a call from the OC...I guess I had an apt today??!! I am so forgetfull lately?? I was to have blood drawn etc.?? How did I forget all of that? Well, rescheduled for the end of the month. OMG!! I worry about getting my blood drawn. I have been absolutely EXHAUSTED lately!! No idea why? Sleeping all the time and waking up tired. I did not take my vitamins when I was on the antibiotic, which I finished on Sat. So...maybe that is why??

Tony is feeling the same way.  I think he is feeling down too,  already a stumbling block.  I feel like maybe he is doubting "US".  Gosh..I hope not.

    Well...slowly back to work ladies.

    xoxo

Oh Lisa, you know that's not true about cooling down. You're both just under the weather...whatever that means!

Oh, Lisa!  Now, you know that isn't true!  It's just that time of year.  The days are getting shorter and the weather is getting gloomier.  How could he possibly be rethiniking your relationship?  Isn't it funny how we women always assume it's something like that when our men are feeling down?  I've been feeling very exhausted too--and I have been taking all my vitamins.  I'm convinced it's stress and the time of year.

    Hugs,

    Karen

Lisa, you're not the only one feeling that way. My get-up-and-go got up and went. I'm sitting here at work yawning my head off.

What's the deal?  I can barely keep my eyes open.  Usually exercising helps, but it did nothing for me today.

Well, that's strange - I have been feeling so tired the last few days that it's an effort to do anything (my son and a friend were here for the weekend and they were tired too and my partner is struggling to keep awake) - and it's spring time here! Maybe it's just the change of seasons. We've been having very strong winds here.

Lisa, please don't think the worst - Tony is probably just tired. Also, you two have been on such a high lately and it's not possible to maintain that level of euphoria for weeks on end. You have to come down eventually and it would be only natural for you to feel a bit "flat" when that happens.

    Love to all,

    Jane oxoxox

Not MIA at all,  I think I read all the posts over the past few days, if I forget anything forgive me,  I guess tired has hit us all,  but mine for sure can be explained-  kids,  kids,  kids, and more kids.

Lisa feel better soon,  I think everyone is right,  eutopia  can not continue for ever,  don't doubt Tony,  I recall doing the same thing with Ed,  a few months into our relationship,  but look almost 7yrs later and all is well.

Happy belated B'day Shelia -  you spring chicken you.

Karen -  xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo dam onco visits anyway.

Leeza - xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo - prayers that you find some "time for you"

TO EVERYONE ELSE - I Love you.

Now onto THE BIG MOVE-  it went very well,  although it was so dam hot,  hurry up cold front.  Jaclyn was also over to help on Saturday and she had the children,  Amanda and I were on baby duty,  and thats where the saga begins - LOL As soon as she arrived I noticed that Brandt was breathing terrible, VERY CONGESTED, but no cough,  runny nose any typical cold symptoms,  he played like normal  - just very congested, Sunday went by same thing -  Jaclyn called said very congested still,  on Monday he was worse,  could hardly catch his breath and had a slight cough and fever,  so she took him straight to DR,  his O2 level was at an extremely low range they gave him 2  breathing treatments in the office - that did nothing so sent him directly to All Childrens Hospital,  they admitted him immediately,  and told Jaclyn he had SWINE FLU- WTF,  so of coarse immediate panic,  he had been around everyone on Saturday,  Amanda had to call her OB/GYN, who called her in for the antibiotics for 5 days,  Jaclyn had to call Brandt's school,  it was insane, on Tuesday they come back and tell Jaclyn the nasal culture was dirty but blood work was NO  for flu -  he has pneumonia and a bacterial infection -  are you kidding me,  you cause mass confusion and then its not SWINE FLU,  no wonder the world is going crazy.  Well he is still in the hospital in isolation on IV antibiotics,  they finally removed the nasal cannula for O2 as that has risen to a safe level.  We have had Alexcis sense Monday as Jaclyn is at the hospital 24/7,  Alexcis has to be at school by 8AM, from here to there is a bit of a drive in rush hour traffic,  I AM TOO OLD TO GET CHILDREN READY FOR SCHOOL - LOL.

So ladies I am sorry to say NO TIME FOR A HORMONE RUSH FOR ED AND I YET

    AM I A VIRGIN AGAIN - LOL

Where did Brandt catch the flu? Holy crap sister!

Barbe I guess he does not have the flu after the rerun of tests ,  pneumonia and bacterial infection,  they rerun the tests daily, but sense Monday admission they have cleared him of SWINE FLU, they just caused us all a bunch of needless worry and panic,  of coarse we are still very worried about him,  he is so sick,  Jaclyn says he bursts into tears everytime his room door opens,  thinks they are coming in to poke him again,  poor little guy,  I haven't been down as he is in isolation,  and don't think its a wise idea to expose myself to all those germs after all my cold crap last year and running Alexcis back and forth to school is keeping me pretty busy anyway.

Oh my goodness..such craziness. The world has gone swine flu crazy! Its almost a knee jerk reaction these days. It is so hard to see a little one so sick and in the hospital, scary actually. Lots of hugs and healing thoughts coming your way !!! Its probably a good thing that you all are close enough to help out. There is a special place in heaven for you and Ed by now Smile

Oh my gosh, Cathi!  What's next for you and your family?  I'm so glad Brandt doesn't have swine flu.  Why would they scare you like that if it wasn't even confirmed??  Even so, pneumonia is very serious too.  Poor little guy.  I'm glad he's in the hospital getting good care.  I hope he's better and home soon!

    Hugs,

    Karen

Cathi - what a horrible time for you all - especially poor little Brandt. Hoping and praying he gets better soon.

    Judi - loved your post!

I have been following Amber's journey too and I'm so sad about her passing. Stinking disease to take such a lovely young mother from her sweet husnband and children.

    Love to you all,

I feel so sad that over 30 sisters from the boards have died just this year. That's almost one a week. And Stephanie (TripleNeg) is doing poorly, too.

All I can say is with elections coming up, look into your candidates' stand on things like research funding, stem cell research, and the things that will go into finding breast cancer cures. It may be a hard decision, especially if you don't like their stand on other issues, but remember the sisters we have lost...and how BC may impact you again in a few years. Whatever you do, vote. Don't be apathetic!

Good evening all,  Nancy that math is pretty scary and so sad,  and you are soooooooo right we need to make our voices heard as much as we can.

Thanks for the thoughts for Brandt,  Jaclyn says he is doing better this evening,  they have remoeved the O2 and his fever is almost normal. Karen the ER DR based his Swine Flu DX on symptoms,  and  from what we have learned - thats  what is being done in many cases,  Jaclyn was told immidietly to notify school and family,  honestly I have not been paying much mind to all the hype, but did start to panic a bit when she made that call,  mostly for the rest of the kids and Amanda being pregnant,  when Brandt was admitted and the DR in charge of his case got all the results from throat/nose culture and x-rays thats when they DX Pneumonia,  UGH, I guess just another case of DR's don't know it all,
