Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

LOL  Now all I will think of when I see "evil" Russell is an old porn star.  I am waiting to see how good of a liar he is.  He tells so many details, surely he will mess up somewhere?

I agree nothing that man says is probably the truth, that's why I am having trouble buying the "owner of an oil company/I am a millionaire" bit he was selling.

Did I miss it or is there no exile islands this season? Maybe it is just too early in the game.

The millionaire thing came right after he dumped the canteens, or there abouts. He said something to the effect of "I own my own company. I'm a millionaire I don't need this, I just want to win to show em how its done." Something like that.

My husband and I just looked at each other like oh jeez-can that be right.

I think it's great when someone like coach and this Russell stay on until almost the end.  They think they are going to win but they just end up having to suffer longer than the others.  Does anyone know if the ones voted off (and are on the jury) stay together or are they separated?

In previous seasons, they went to the "Ponderosa" which was a nice camp set up for them - you could go to the CBS website and see their antics - the film clips were only about a minute long.

I am awaiting thursday, can't miss any of survivor.  Evil Russel is right.

It was a good show, how come only one challenge, they used to have two.  Russell is stilla piece of work.  i wonder how long it will take him to figure out he has the other teams immunity idol!!!!

hmmmmmmmmm....must still be in my chemo fog. lol  I thought it was brilliant that he found the immunity idol before getting the clue...but never thought about it being the other teams immunity idol..

Don't get me wrong...don't care for the guy!  Haven't really found someone to root for yet..still watching the dynamics.  Love the show though!!!

Interesting point about the immunity idol.  Maybe it is worthless to R if it is suppose to be for the other tribe..........interesting.

Peace and quiet from Yazmin.........oh my, what was she thinking? When Russell learns that is the other teams idol, he will make it so they won't be able to find it. That would be the Russell thing to do.

Everyone is upset at Shambo for losing the mouth peice on the snorkel thing. They act like she did it on purpose. Gheesh, it was an accident, at least she was out trying to get food.

I too liked Betsy, she was not going to take Russells crap. It would have been quite interesting had she been able to stay.

I will be MIA for the next two shows. I have DVR so will watch when I can. I will be in Hawaii, getting married!

I'm NOT liking this season after all (thought the 1st show was good though).

If Russell is a 'plant' (a thought I had after HOW could he be THAT smart as to look in THAT tree - too obvious?) then I'm over this season. If he isn't a plant and truly is that smart and that savvy of a player then he deserves to win - IMO.

I'll reserve further negative judgement until after the next episode.

just finally watched the 2nd show...egads, that Russell guy is something else.  My first thought is to get him voted out pronto--but, can also see that his staying in will make the episodes more intense......love Survivor, but this one hasn't "grabbed" my attention just yet.

...my thoughts on "plants" on some of these reality shows.....had always thought they were all wanna be actors/actresses and that everything was staged and planned out....

....a couple years ago at a dinner out, we had this cute, funny, chatty waitress.    She asked if any of us ever watched Deal or No Deal...the usual I can't stand that show groans and the I love that show comments back to her.   She proceeded to tell us that she had been a contestant and at that time, had the honor of being the contestant who had won the least amount of money.  Told us lots of other little tidbits--and the whole time I was thinking...BS...........but, got home and did some googling and, bingo--there she was...everything she told us was absolutely true...

blew a big hole in my wanna-be actor theory, so I tend to believe that for the most part, the reality players could be my next door neighbor........

anyways--can't wait for Thurs and see who evil Russell weeds out next....

also, love the amazing race.  Haven't watched the first show yet; dvr'd while out of town.   Can't find a thread for that one--maybe we need to start one?????

I think things went as they should have last night - what do you all think?

I am starting to like Russell.  I wouldn't want to be in a life boat in the middle of the ocean with him.  But this is a game and when he changed his vote last week, it showed that he  is playing it with thought and purpose.
