Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

Well, how about that little Natalie, killing that rat. That was hilarious!
Ok you guys, I have a different feeling about Russell. I mean ........ARE YOU KIDDING ME, he finds the other idol! Come on!!!!! Then he says, "if I find it, I'm not telling anyone" and what does he do????? I don't know....I am wondering if all this just isn't a "written script". Just to ad to the "story". He will get voted out, but I think they are keeping him on for the ratings. And Shambo better be careful, or she could be on the chopping block too. Next week could go several different ways. Starting to get interesting for sure.

I thought it was smart of Shambo to vote with her tribe. Hopefully that will keep her safe for another week. Surely they will be gunning for Russell next week.
-
Can't say I am a huge Russell fan but he is definately playing the game well, and keeps the show very interesting. He does need to go to the end to keep the show interesting. Laura can go anytime.
-
Unbelievable!!!! How does Russell keep doing it?????? I am really beginning to suspect that he is a plant. I was happy with last night's result: afraid to actually name the person that went in case others recorded it. What did everyone else think???
-
You just knew he was going to find it. Still not a fan but he is playing very hard. When he was on reward the others just laid around, the only other person proactive in looking for the idol was Dave and he kept following Russell. Although he is not my favorite , Russell deserves to win, sneaky and lying as he has been, it is a game and he seems to be the only one who knows the rules, however I don't want to write off John, I think he finally has a clue!
-
I couldn't believe that nobody else seemed too interested in finding that idol. They deserve what they get. Like him or not, Russell is playing the game. I still hope Shambo's efforts will pay off for her. It's like getting her revenge on the cool girls at high school.
-
Russell, Russell--he's my man...
If he can't win it--NOBODY can!!!!!!!
The season is starting to get pretty good. Didn't think I'd ever say a cheer for Russell, but he is playing the game quite well. Win or lose, he will be one of the few players that is remembered for a long time to come.
-
Okay - went out of town for a few days, just finished watching it. Russell is the MAN!!!! Somehow or another he has managed to pick off Galu one by one. Jeff was on the money when he said Foa Foa didn't have the numbers, but it's all Galu in the jury.......................... Now the game is finally getting good and Russell is playing it the best!!!
Stay tuned for next week..................
-
I agree with PK - John seems like he gets it too. Part of the problem with Survivor is they show all the outrageous, interesting characters for the first half of the show, and then people like John suddenly appear to us - playing the game, when they haven't been on screen much at all.
I still love Russell though, he's my favorite character. I don't think he's got a chance of winning - I think John or Mick could be contenders. But he's just plain fun to watch, unlike last seasons villian, the DragonSlayer.
I find Shambo stupid. I hope she doesn''t win. Yes it's fun to see the underdog get the mean girls, but Shambo is an underdog for a reason. I haven't read Jeff''s blog in a couple of weeks, but he really seemed to like her - can't figure out why.
-
Unbelievable! ADK.....I had mentioned earlier that I thought Russell was a plant. I beilieve it even more now! I don't think he will win, I just think he is there for ratings! As for not mentioning names, it wouldn't bother me any. I do record, and just don't come to this thread until I've watched it.
CoolBreeze, as for players coming out of the woodwork. I agree. Just last week or week before I noticed Bret/Brent (the young kid) and I'm like "where the heck did he come from?"
I was however surprised to see Shambo laugh at Laura for getting voted off. As for a former Marine, I thought that rather childish.
Absolutely no favs for me this year. Guess I'll root for looks, so for me, that means John or Mick!

I agree, this is one of the better seasons. As much of an a$$ as Russell is, he is definately making the show interesting.
-
I haven't watched all the episodes of Survivor, but I agree this is the best season I have watched in a while!
Russell certainly makes for some good entertainment. I also wonder if he's a "plant". I don't think he's a genius, and I also don't believe the others can be so dim that they don't even think about looking for the idol.
I still don't have a favorite either.
-
Did anyone watch last night's show? Any good never-seen clips?
-
Yeah. We saw what a creep Laura really is. She told Shambo that her dead baby brother and her sister who died at 27 were "better off". Then she pleaded for the sun to come out so she could tan.
-
Oh - I'll have to watch it then, it was taped for me. I read some of the survivor blog and it seemed the writer was defending Laura, stating that she isn't/wasn't as bad as the editing made her out to be. Hrmph. Can't wait to see the finale, the wrap-up show always shows who really does or doesn't like who!
-
I watched the recap last night and Laura is really a self involved, uncaring person. When she said Shambo's dead brother and sister were better off where they were my jaw dropped. However, Shambo is still is not at the top of my list after her childish laughing when Laura was kicked off. I am still liking the way Russell is playing as well as Mick and John. Guess we'll see what happens this week.................
-
I was thinking the same thing about Russell's teeth! I can't wait to see if Russell does win - if he does will he give all the money away to charity?
-
LMAO...........I was wondeing the same thing about him and his teeth! Too funny!
-
Okay............ let's see what Russell does this week.
-
Looking forward to tonight - unfortunately, last week the turkey kicked in and I feel asleep on the couch from 6 to 8:45 - I only saw the last 15 minutes - I did see when Laura said that Shambo's dead brother & sister were better off and my jaw dropped. This is a divinity student??? I am so glad she is gone. What a hypocrite!!!
-
I missed that last week. When I saw that it was just clips from the past few weeks, I just fast forwarded it and erased it without really watching it. Wish I had heard Laura make that comment...although I already didn't like her! Tonight should be GOOD!!!!!
-
I hated it that John got voted off. Watch, the sleaze Russel will win this game. He has controlled this show somehow from the beginning. I like shambo but am shocked she is still there.
-
I think Russell may get his next week!
-
I feel for Shambo now - she knows that she doesn't have any support because of the vote for John rather than Dave. I was a little surprised to see Monica vote for John - I guess they have totally given up on the numbers thing. A little dumb. From the previews, it did look like they were going to gang up on Russell, but he still has an immunity idol, so even if they do, some one else will be going. This is an interesting season.
-
I was sorry to see John go. But we knew he was going sooner or later. This should be a good reunion at the end of the season!

I didn't like seeing John go, but Russell played the game. John found out or suspected he had the idol, would have used it against Russell and in Russell's eyes John needed to. Russell is smart in the way that he is playing - so far.
We'll see what happens with Shambo's anger - she is weird. I felt sorry for her earlier on, but she really does and says strange things.
As for Dave, I have not liked him for sometime and really can't wait for him to go. Did y'all see him wink after the vote to the jury?
What about that other young guy - he is just quietly staying in the backround not doing much of anything to draw attention to himself. I have to say although he's quite, he is playing a good game.
-
Hello ladies,.I happened to watch last nights episode and man o man,..that RUSSEL is something else! What a sneaky,.kinda guy,.lol. He is definitely playing the game. As much as he annoys me,.I think he should win. As far as his teeth go,.I have a feeling he may have a "partial" and just removed it to look the part of being "down and out",.not,.the oil company owner that he is. He may not be a genius,.but,.he has something going on to own his own oil company! Shambo is strange bird but,.I kinda like her,.lol. Oh and,.I would've eaten sand before I ate those chickens!
Did anyone notice that hamburger that was bought last night?! Holy cow! It was HUGE! M'mmmm,.now,.I'm hungry,.lol.
-
The auction was something - poor Shambo got that nasty slug stuff - I would have thrown it out. Then Natalie was smart - a good PB& J and......... the shower. I know that was refreshing. The hamburger was HUGE - Mick was smart, bid 500 off the bat and get it. Then Monica with the whole chicken - how much was she really able to eat? I always wonder - do their stomachs get upset after the eating rewards? They eat very little for such long periods of time and such limited foods that eating these huge meals has to be a little upsetting to their stomachs. Just something I think about when I see them eating so much.
Hmmmm didn't think about the tooth thing being a ploy to look like he has less money. That's a good move. I agree I think he has a bridge that comes in and out and he keeps it out.
-
Oh I know! That sea slug guts or whatever was quite gross and Shambo shoveled a big spoonful into her pie hole,....nope,.not me! *gag* The shower was probbaly the best part! Ahhhhh,.shampoo and clean underwear!
I'm not good with the names but,.the guy who bought the slice of pie,..I would have gotten the whole pie and shared if it was an option and the same price! I don't know if Monica finished her chicken but,.I could definitely see everyone salivating,.haha,.what a crazy game.
I'd try out for Survivor IF I was GUARANTEED I wouldn't have to eat that nasty stuff. I can't get brussels sprouts down,.I doubt I could swallow guts or anything slimy....YUCK-O!
Don't know if their stomachs get upset,.but,.I bet they feel miserable after forcing it all in,..if they do.
Yeah,.I would think someone with money like Russ would have the perfect smile so,.I'm convinced he took it out. Goes right along with his first lie about losing everything during hurricane Katrina,.guess he lost his teeth,.too! If I were to see him walking down the street and smiling,.I sure wouldn't suspect him being a millionaire! That just goes to show,..all the money in the world doesn't buy happiness,.it buys too much! The guy is probably bored out of his mind with his life,..nothing else to do,.he's done it all,.so,..yeah! He's playing for the hell of it,.and being a sneak! He's quite good at it,.lolol.
-
I love me some Russell! I haven't liked a player this much since Boston Rob.
One strange thing though - during the auction he never bid on one thing. He never even looked like he was thinking about it, so I think it was a deliberate strategy. And, it was never explained why. That seems to be an oversight.
Also ,they showed the argument between Shambo and Dave over cooking the chicken - but not the resolution. That also seemed like an oversight.
I think Russell will be able to smooth over Shambo's hurt feelings over being left out of the vote. I don't think Shambo is that smart and she plays purely by her feelings, so any lie that strokes her ego will do.
The question is will Mick and Jaison let Russell keep doing what he's doing? They are both very smart men - they have to see Russell for who he is - it may be time to save themselves. Maybe they will go after Shambo's vote for Russell.
That young buy is is flying under the radar - don't even know his name yet! That probably means he'll win, lol.
