Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

It all looked too contrived to me. I think Brandon just wanted to be known as a bad ass like his uncle. Sadly, he will just be known as pathetic.
-
Brandon mentioned that he took grief from his family for being too trusting and weak in the previous Survivor. He was determined to look tough, but he just managed to look like he was a child of a psychologically and possibly physically abusive family.
Phillip may be irritating but he wins challenges and the Favorites would be lost without him.
It actually looks like an interesting season.

It appears this thread has died. Perhaps viewing the pilot of this new series can liven things up a bit. It's called Get Out Alive. Love to know what you all think.

Crap. I would love to comment but the video is not available to those of us north of the boarder.
-
Fooey, what a shame. The host, Bear Grylls, is from British Special Forces. The challenges are true wilderness challenges and it is fascinating to watch. It leaves Survivor in the dust with the most important difference in the personalities of the contestants. GOL contestants are all sane.
-
I bet they go insane during their experiences.
-
So far they have eaten raw fish eyeballs, raw and cooked earthworms and drank their own pee. They have skinned, butchered and cooked a deer and climbed a really high shear face of a mountain in full gear. No one is crazy yet. Time will tell as the challenges get more difficult.
-
Yikes! Makes Survivor look like a picnic!
-
They are judged not only by individual performance but also by how much each player contributes to the group success. There is no standing or lying around watching other people work.
-
I haven't watched it yet, but I found it on Global http://www.globaltv.com/getoutalive/index.html
Looking interesting. Does anyone know when Survivor starts? We are leaving on vacation at the end of August, I would like to have it set up on our pvr but I doubt I can do it, as I can only set up for 2 weeks ahead. GG
-
Thanks for the link. I just watched the 2nd episode. I will set my pvr.
-
Does anyone else watch Survivor anymore? I've seen every season!
