I thought the same thing Jaybird, I thought she was a gonner for sure. I still like TJ and Sierra. I wished she would have jumped Coach harder for burning the beans, but I think she is playing safe and keeping her mouth shut, but she did let him know she was pissed. The merge will def be interesting, especially to see if the 4 way aliance sticks. I don't think Stephen can be trusted.

Lori, I think Stephen is shify, too. I bet he flips. And Coach needs to watch himself as he doesn't seem to be liked by anyone! I'm all for Taj winning as I think she's really come out as a strong player all around.

Interesting show tonight.  (saw the beginning and end; parts inbetween kept getting interrupted by nasty tornado warning alerts!!!)  After the merge, I got totally lost as to who was stabbing who in the back and who was getting who on their side.   Will the guy who was medically evac'd become the first member of the jury??  And Coach--seemed able to draw in some people to ally with him--but, man, is he weird, or what!!!   What was his comment about "the chosen one" all about?

    Can't wait 'til next week!

The 'chosen one' refers to the Coach and Brendan fighting over the leadership of the Tampira  (sp) tribe.  Coach said that if things went his way then he would be the chosen (leader) one.  I think this season is going to come down to Coach and Taj.  Both are good game players.  Coach needs to dial his abrasiveness in quite a bit but now that its no longer a 'team' sport with the tribal merge, it may be more his type of game.  He can just worry about his alliance members than pleasing a whole tribe.

I was so worried about JT.  He's such a nice guy that I don't understand why everyone would decide to target him instead of some of the other players.   He surely dodged a bullet last night.  I think Joe will be on the jury but they didn't make that clear.

Looks like some of Taj's alliance is bolting now that they have merged.  I thought it was kind of awful for her to make that fake idol.

Man!  I missed survivor because all that was on tv here were the fires.  So they merged last night?  What happened that someone was medically evac'd?  She had to have gotten the idea of the fake idol from watching past shows, it seems like the last 2 seasons that has happened.  It is cruel and embarrasing.

Joe got some kind of bug bite or cut on his leg and it has been swelling with redness extending from his knee down to his ankle.  After last night's immunity challenge, the show's producer had a medical person look at his leg and they determined that he was in danger of either infection to the bone in his leg, which could lead to loss of his leg, or the infection could get into the blood stream, which would be life threatening. So, they took him out of the game and evaced him to a town where he could get treated.  It really looked bad.

Wow, how awful for him.  I wonder if they will let him back in the game or if he is just out.

He's out.  There was no tribal council last night because of Joe leaving the game.  I assume he will be on the jury but they didn't mention it.

Fun Fun Fun, I love this show! Too bad about Joe, but if it saved J.T., then so be it! Why the heck are they ganging up on him anyways?

I don't believe that original 4some will stay til the end, at least not with shifty Stephen.

Deb sure gave Tyson a run for immunity, gotta give her credit for hanging onto that pole at her age. She did a good job.

Def. fun to watch everyone scramble now that they merged. I do not like Tyson or Coach, and they can both go home anytime!

I don't know why they picked JT either.  Logically, they should have wanted to go with the last two who clung to that pole because it showed they are strong.  I would have targeted Deb, if not Tyson, so they weren't up against them in another endurance challenge.  Makes no sense to me.

I am so disappointed in Taj, JT and Stephen.  What were they thinking???  Why did they go along with Tyson & Coach?  Poor Sierra - she;s just quaking in her boots, knowing that unless she wins immunity, she's gone next tribal council.  I am not very happy with this turn of events.

I must say that as much as I wanted Coach to go, I am glad he will be around next week.  He really is quite entertaining! After all he is "the dragon slayer"!

I was shocked at the blindside and dislike Coach even more for his gloating at tribal and his pouting about not being able to go white water rafting. He's weird and immature and he'll never will - who would give him the money?

Coach gets weirder by the week and more obnoxious--but, I agree--if he's voted out, then there's no one left that I want to see lose...seems like an eon 'til next show!!!

I was reading Jeff's blog about the show.  He actually loves Coach and talks about doing a reality show called "The Dragon Slayer" starring him.  I would probably watch!

Ok, I just watched it last night. I couldn't believe it! Was sorry to see Brendon go, but all said and done, he doesn't need the money! Coach annoys me more and more every week week, but if you think about it, he would be good to keep only for the fact that if you have to go against him for the million, the jury is not going to vote for him to win.

A reality show with Coach, oh my gosh! Don't know what to say about that! The guy has a screw loose. Tyson needs to go too, but nobody really complains about him.

I am still rooting for TJ or Sierra.

    Until next week.......

Goldie, I think that is why coach isn't being voited out.  They want to be next to him at the end but I guess they don't remember the very first season of survivor where everyone hated Richard Hatch and he ended up winning.  Some people on Survivor and Big Brother play the 'person everyone loves to hate' in order to make it to the end.  This could be strategy on Coach's part.

Plus, I hope he will continue to share more of his 'near death' stories around the campfire.  I laughed my sox off last week while he was telling his story.  The looks on everyone's faces was a hoot.

I couldn't believe how tonight played out.  Sierra was so sure she was going and so relieved she didn't.  Tyson thought he had it made, his arragance did him in.  Very interesting.

I loved it!!!!  I think Tyson's attitude was so bad, I was thrilled to see him go.  It was a smart move on all of their behalf because he was winning all the immunities and it was an opportunity they needed to take.  Coach is now quaking, not Sierra.  Suprising how quickly the game changes up.  I get now why they haven't ousted Coach yet - going to the final three (or two) with him guarentees that he won't win and he really isn't a threat in the immunity challenges (hasn't really come close).  I suspect he will go to the finals, if only as a fall guy.

The look on Tyson's face was priceless! He was grinning like a cheshire(sp) cat then the corners of his mouth dropped, loved it. "I love watching people cry when their dreams are shattered" Sometime those phrases come back to haunt you!

Stephen and JT could be possibles to be next as they are stronger players. Personally I could care less if Coach stays in as I don't think anyone would give him the $$ in the end anyway. Funny if you compare him to Randy last season, Randy knew he was a horses a$$, Coach is a horses a$$ but doesn't seem to have a clue that he is. Each season needs someone to hate, this year Coach is it.

I thought Coach's face was even better than Tyson's.  How dare his subjects disobey him like that!! After telling Sierra that she had to face the consequences of making a bad decision, it comes back to bite him in the butt.  Next week should be good.

Glory to Boswana idols that the egonastymaniac Tyson was blindsided and voted off.

There is justice within the Survivors.

The guy with the deer in the headlights eyes and who is always slinking around needs to go.

He is a fence sitter to the max. Forget his name. Went to exile last night.

I like Taj. She is a smart cookie. The Principal should be ashamed of herself with the way she acts as she knows her school must be watching. How can they hold her up in esteem after this show.

Sierra. What can I say. She is so trying and and after the high fever coming into this season she deserves to be right where she is.

Coach. Ugh. What a prima donna in his own mind. What's with the roars and play time in the water. Tyson is a mean individual. Through and through. Said such hateful things about people.

It finally came back to bite him. Coach on the other hand in my own opinion is a tad deranged and dillusional with himself.

Jeff can see it. Jeff holds in the laughter each time Coach opens his mouth.

I love TJ and hope he wins. He's an excellent player.

I am so pleased with last nights vote off. : )

I have to remember not to read here the night of because last night I did and OOps read about Tyson being voted off. West coast here. But in pure delight I was OK with already knowing. It made watching last night even more exciting.

Sierra still has a big target on her back--hope she wins immunity next week.    Coach does get more annoying with each episode.   But, Anne has a good point that if he is in the final two, he would be the least likely to get the jury votes.   Funny, but he reminds me of a couple people I've known over the years--who talk and act like they know/have done everything but are only full of BS and hot air!   Again, can't wait 'til Thurs!!!

Well well welll, not much left for me to say. except ditto to what everyone else has said. One thing that no one has mentioned, was how Coach was pouting again because he didn't get to go on the feast Awwwwww, poor Coach! LOL !

Sahalie, if you look up a few posts, PrettyinPink said something about Jeff really liking Coach and may be doing a reality show with him.

Next week will really be interesting, I can see Coach going off on everyone now! The big bad Dragon Slayer!

I hope Seirra can stick around, I still like her and TJ.

Yeah, Coach cut off the head of the dragon but forgot to watch out for its tail whipping around to knock him on his fanny.  I'm glad Tyson got blindsided.  What a nasty guy he was.  Do you think that is what he is like in real life?

I just watched an interview with Tyson.  He is just as cocky as he was on the show.  But, as he said, he knows he is cocky, Coach really does think everyone believes him and his stories.

    Jazz.  I agree.

People like Tyson in real life are pathetic.  To be pitied.  Just like Tyson, they have no originality.  Have to copy everything and everyone.  Only say hurtful disparaging words to make up for their own inadequacies and short fuses.  People like that don't last long.  Stress you know.  It's the big K.   All the lies and scorn coming from them just show their true colors.  When all the contestants look back on the season on DVD and see what came out of his mouth he will laugh it off just as insecure people do.  So sad.

Coach on the other hand is laughable.  His stories much like Tyson raise the hinky meters.  Can we say a couple of people so full of themselves they fed off one another are getting their just rewards.  Karma.  Now the tables are turned.

Junie.  I hope not re: the reality show.

Lori.  I really like Sierra and TJ and also hope they make it to the final three.

The only bummer is having to listen to both mouthoffs, Coach and Tyson go on their rants from the jury seats.

Pip.  Thanks for the info.  I sure hope Jeff comes to his senses if he is really thinking a reality show with that egomanic Coach.

Next weeks show will be interesting.
