    Hey Teresa...does this mean you are in for piano bar and bellagio and for the pink square it will be you, your daughter and friend??

    All three of us are in for the piano bar and bellagio.  We are going on a tour on Saturday so can not do the pink square.

    I called the hotel today and while on the line asked about our rooms being together. We don't need to PM our info regarding our reservations to the first person arriving. We have a much simpler way to handle this. The hotel can easily tell who is part of our group since we had a group code for our reservation. First arriving just needs to request that all reservations with that group code are placed near eachother. It doesn't matter who ends up being first- if Laura and HeyMoose and someone else all ask thinking they are first there--it won't confuse them--they will know if someone already took care of the request. Hope that helps make life easyCool

    Dislaimer from the hotel: if we requested different things like high floor vs low floor and smoking vs non smoking that will prevent them from putting us together.

    Wow-lots of activity over the last day or so!  I was busy planning an event for last night so have been a bit out of it.  OK, here is the deal for Kristina and I.

    In for brunch at the Bellagio

    In for Paint the Square (I will buy tickets this weekend)

    Unsure of the piano bar.  I haven't talked to Kristina about that one so I will have to get back to you.

    Also, I am actually arriving on Thursday as my husband is there for a conference from Monday until Friday so we wanted to have one night (Thursday) in Vegas sans kids.  If there is anything anyone needs prior to Friday, just let me know.

    Just a quick FYI. I PM'd Marilyn-Sportwareor Friday and asked her if she would be able to make it. Back on page 45 she said she probably would not be staying at the hotel, if she did come. She lives in Arizona so she could drive to Vegas in a few hours, so in reality it could be a last minute trip for her. Me and Claude (whirledpeas) are the 2 "homeless" gals. We could get a room together, but Marilyns spot can open one bed, but then one would end up "homeless". So......

    Ok quick question....what is the dress code for the piano bar?  My understanding is that alot of the dance clubs have a dresscode.  Would be great to know a head of time maybe...if possible.

    Teresa, I really don't think there is a dress code for the piano bar.  I've been there before...of course I've always been dressed in evening wear....I can't find it on their web site.  We will have to ask Gisella to find out when she makes the reservations.  I'm assuming we are wearing our tata shirts to the paint the square event so we will still have those on...

    OK I'm rambling.  I need to get to sleep since I will be meeting KEW (Karen) in a few hours for the Komen walk!!!  We will be walking for ALL of our TaTa Sisters!!!

    We still need 2 people to join us for the vip tour...

    The Pink event is outside... Vegas is 90 degrees now.. if we go straight to the Piano bar... without changing our outfits and freshening up.... eeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

    GISELLA... what do you think we should do about this ???

    I am always thinking....like Teresa... I am wondering about a dress code.. or... if there is not a code... should we be dressed for evening??

    OK I will call tomorrow and find out about the dress code.  Jazzy just brought up to my attention an issue we may have if we reserve the seats and are not there by 8.  I will find out about that also and post.  I think the piano bar is pretty casual.  Do not forget we can also go to Kahunaville and one of the outside bars at the Mirage.  If we go and freshen up I think it will be 10:30 to 11:00 before we get back to NY-NY.  It is Vegas so who is looking at a watch anyway?????  I will make some calls and post tomorrow.

    I just had to share with all of you....I got to meet up with KEW(Karen) today!!!  We had our team, The TaTa Sisterhood and did the 5k Portland OR Komen Race for the Cure!!!  This was our first meeting and I have got to tell you...I WAS NOT PREPARED for the emotions when we saw eachother!!  It was wonderful!!  We bawled and couldn't stop hugging eachother!  It was priceless!!  We were NOT letting Susie walk since she needs to get well for Vegas...BUT her hubby Bryan joined us!!  He had done ALL of the races that morning!!  He is a marathon maniac!!  He was quite a nice touch with his bright pink and black running tights, pink hat with flowers and feathers, and the big trailing ribbon on his cute little butt!!!  Thanks Susie for sharing him with us!!

    Vegas is going to be so emotional I just know it!  All of us on this board (and exchange city) has SO MUCH LOVE for one another and meeting in person is such a release of that love.  All of the feelings of everything we have gone through and how we feel that connection is SO AMAZING!!!

    WE ARE STRONG!!  WE ARE THE TATA SISTERHOOD!!!!! (Thanks Laura! :-))

    As soon a someone knows about the dress code, please post because I don't want to go out and buy a dress if I don't have to.  Nothing fits right now except for scrubs and 2 pairs of jeans Yell  I hate chemo weight and menopause weight!

    One last attempt to try to find a few spaces in rooms. There are two of us "ta-ta sisters" (Claude/whirled peas and Karen/kbell) that have not been able to find space in any rooms yet.  We both have posted and messaged privately to various sisters who have contacted us with possibilities of spaces available in their rooms, but nothing has solidified to date.

    I called the Mirage on Friday to confirm availability and price for a room for the two of us if the other possible placements fell through.  I called back this morning (Sunday) to reserve a room and was informed that there were no rooms available except for full price (although I was previously told on Friday that I could call back Monday and "that shouldn't be any problem." )

    I certainly don't want to impose on anyone (and Karen has expressed the same sentiment).  I know that Peg and Packergirl both need separate rooms due to sleeping issues so they are not possibilities, but if any others among you have space in your rooms for either of us PLEASE let us know!

    Feel free to post or pm if you can offer any space or suggestions.

    (not panicing - trusting that things will work out some way...)

    I have been so insanely busy today... I had these 4 hours of paperwork for the end of the month... DH had me painting with him our guest room... you name it.. I did it today... I even got our Phone number cards laminated....:).. found two dresses and club tops to bring to Vegas whether I wear them or not...LOL.... two suitcase labels...  and grilled my men steaks on the grill...

    BUT.. I MISSED miss Sunshines call... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    I will check in tomorrow for any last minute details or if You would like me to do anything once I arrive in Vegas on Tuesday. 

    Laura, I e mailed you before I read further on the post that the hotel should have our rooms together due to our reservation code.  I wil double check when I arrive.
