I got home from work about 9.. and am just still wound up... typing to fast and NOT thinking.....

Awh Laura you don't have a mean bone in your body- you would have to go to the store to rent them if you ever needed them. Gosh sorry I poked fun at that thing bikini- just feeling sassy tonight. Your too sweet to be thinking about how your words came across.... We love you.

I just get so mad at myself for thinking so wrong at times... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... I probably get mad at myself.. and no one else is...lol....

We just returned from Vegas and the temp was 109 degrees at 3 p.m.   Also, the Los Angeles area fire is blowing thick smoke right through L.V., so it is smoky and miserable there as well---it's just as bad as it is here just south of Los Angeles.  With the big fire expected to continue burning for another couple of weeks at least, I wouldn't plan any strenuous outdoor activities unless this mess is cleared up by then.   Luckily, most of the fun in Vegas is indoors!!

Ok... I feel better I did not totally offend...

I just kick myself for not thinking about certain things...

Well.. hopefully in three weeks is will be somewhat cooler and the smoke will be less.. or gone. Did you all hear they think it was arson....:( Those poor people... I would be so so mad..

I think we all will wear whatever we want that makes us feel good.  Laura wear something little and strappy!  I will probably wear something big and strappy.  :-)  I don't have much that fits me since I'm so faaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttt, but I'm dealing with it and I know once we meet nothing like what we wear will even matter!  I can HARDLY WAIT TO MEET ALL OF MY TATA SISTAHS!!!

First of all thank all of you for the kind words for my mixed feelings of yesterday, my anniversary of my diagnosis.  You all are THE BEST!!! 

I went to get a nail fill.  I was telling her what I wanted for my Vegas trip...so we were chatting away and I mentioned to her one of my nails hurt...so when she took the acrylic off we noticed....it has totally receded down halfway!  It looks like the whole nail is going to come off!  All during chemo I didn't have my acrylic nails since the chemo I had made the nails reced and possibly fall off.  When I was done with chemo my hair started to grow and so did my nails.  I waited a couple of months for the nails to grow out then I got my acrylics again...I truly cannot go without them....anyway so now I don't know what's causing it!  Could it be the herceptin??  Tamoxifen??  After shock of chemo???  What do y'all think??

Anyway...I am headed back to my hometown...a childhood girfriend whom I got together with at our reunion this last July...we will be going together.  We have search and search and have finally found our 5th grade teacher.  He made such an impact on all of us!  He was 22, we were his first class!  So he's like 11 years older than us...he was by far the coolest guy...I could go on and on about all the fun things we did in his class and all that he implemented...he also told us to look him up when we turned 18...well I thought for sure he would marry me...dang it!  All of us girls had a crush on him when we were 11!  Ha...anyway he is beyond touched that we even remember him let alone us feeling that he made such an impact on us.  So he is so excited to meet up with us...we are so excited to meet up with him.  He and his wife will be meeting us tomorrow in my hometown where he taught and hasn't lived there in many years.  What he doesn't know is, we have gathered up a lot of our 5th grade class mates who also want to see him!  He thinks he is meeting the two of us...but an hour later everybody else will show up!!  SO FUN!!

Then I come back home and go to a bachleorette party...I suppose by now y'all have noticed I am the party girl.  :-)

Anyway...keep the Vegas talk going I will chime in when I get back!!  I haven't talked to Susie so I'm not too sure how she is doing.  She lives like an hour and half away from me.  I notice she hasn't been online so she might be back in the hospital...urgh her hubby was suppose to keep me in the loop.  I will let you know what I find out.

Also still no word from DV8Q!

for cloths I will probably bring kakhi shorts or skirts and cool tops

a nice dress would be a good idea also

  So much for bringing my sun dresses.  I tried one on tonight to go out to dinner with dh and it was too tight!

I think I will be stuck wearing shorts and t-shirts and bringing one pair of jeans with me.

Ladies.. WHAT is it with CHEMO and WEIGHT GAIN! I understand.. it blows...

Ok... I will bring long shorts.. capri's.. jeans... and I will bring a strappy dress.. and some heals for evening... if needed..

I will admit.. since I am ALMOST 5ft tall.. I have worn high heals my entire life.. no different than tennis shoes for me...:)

For those who have not been to Vegas.. there is a LOT of walking... so bring the shoes you can walk A LOT in and NOT hurt your feet or lower backs... ( we are NOT spring chickens...LOL)

I LOVE sight seeing.. shopping... too... Since DH will be sitting at home... worrying about me the whole time I am gone...LOL.. ( poor guy).. I will want to buy him a tee shirt... or something..:)

I am so excited... such a JOY at the end of a HORRIFIC Year or two for us all.... I tell all my clients about it.. they ARE AMAZED that we are all jumping in a plane.. ( or car.. Deb and Peg) and flying across usa to meet..

I WONDER.. are we the biggest reunion from BCO.. or has there been groups of over 20  doing this.. I think it is just wonderful!

My foot got caught on one of the many wires under the automatic bed of a nursing home patient. I fell straight down and landed on my forehead! How I didn't break anything I will never know. But my face was horrifying. I am going to see a doctor next week to make sure I can fly. The employee doctor told me I could go back to work the next day! Unbelievable.

If you have never been to Vegas, it is hot outside, but as you get in the hotels it really gets cool. I always bring a light jacket that I can throw in my bag for those times.

Kjbell-how are you doing?  Sorry to read about your accident.  are you feeling any better?  Did Dr. give the go ahead to travel? Not like you don't have enough to deal with already huh!!

Hi everyone.  Well its been 5 days since my exchange and I actually rolled over on to my stomach while I was napping today and it didn't hurt lol.  They are definitely smaller than I wanted but they look nice so I will adjust to the size because honestly I didn't have big ones in the beginning either. 

As far as clothes Im going to bring casual fun clothes and probably something dressy too.  I like to dress up for the shows lol.  I dont get to do that at home much. 

19 more days!  Im so excited.
