Good News: Finally, cleaned the screened-in porch (22 bags of old memories and approximately 40 books). I've moved on to the garage, and have 11 bags of things that should have never made it in the door. I am embarrassed concerning all the items I had packed away to revisit at a later time. I cleaned the refrigerator; it was simple--No food!
Biggest Problem: Mail--any suggestions? Shredding is time consuming. I tried burning, but it's tough in my subdivision. Don't want the HOA to fine me.
Confession: I'm throwing out all the dirty dishes.

Afternoon ladies......Great pics Mum!.....Who is who in the last one?...Kay.kay, don't worry, sweetie.....It took me a whole month of working every day to get my house decluttered and it is still a little cluttered........
Faith I am having computer problems too......I can't get on Firefox cause it crashed and can't fix itself so I am stuck with my old website search thingy and it goes wonky on me too......I don't even have my icons to post my smiley/frowny faces.......
Hope you all are having a happy Monday......My day finally started going better after I took a nap this morning.....I have really had a hard time the last few days.....I broke down yesterday and hit my fist on the wall..Needless to say the wall won and I am left nursing a few bruises!....LOL.....Oh well ...It felt good to hit womething anyway........I got some anger out I had been holding in for a couple of months.....My DH called me a 2 yr old and told me to get a grip......I wanted to get a grip but I didn't want to go to jail for gripping his throat!....LOL.......MEN!...Sheesh!.....We need to write a book just for them....Maybe call it Breast Cancer 101: What REAL Men Need to Know and How to Treat Your Ailing Woman Right!.......
I love you all cause you know just how it feels and I can vent all I want here....... -
Ladies, please keep my DD Hollyanna in your prayers..She came home form school sick with a sore throat and a slight fever of 100.........She has been sick off and on for a week...Took her to the doctor Friday but he said she was fine........Thank you so much!........
-
Will do Holly hope she is feeling better soon.
-
I had my CT scan today, so I'll prob know the results later this week. I did dishes last night because I HAD to. Today I had to re-arrange the living room furniture because DH is "sick" and he wanted to sit in my chair.
-
Mum: love the pic of your get together.
Would you please be so kind as to "label" who is whom??
I'd really appreciate it, since I don't know the vast majority, but I think it would be great for posterity as well. Our memories are never as we wish they'd be.
Jane, thinking of you while you wait for results.
and Lucy your daughter, too.
hugs to all..... going back to my house tonight...... only have BB connection then

Wowzer Arnie, you've got your day full!!! Gentlest of hugs. Wishing and praying for you to have an easier time.
-
Hugs to all you hunnie bunnies.
Arnie, glad you're almost done with the taxo, sorry you have to have rads. Thanks for your prayers, Hollyann.
I'm starting to feel better. I've been taking a supplement (that I found for myself, thank you very much) for about two weeks that's got digestible iron, folic acid, B12 & C, so those ingredients help produce red & white blood cells. I'm not leaping out of bed in the morning -- or any other time of day I take a nap -- yet, but I actually managed to do some laundry and some errands after work the other day & didn't feel like a dishrag. Friday, I actually felt pretty decent. Next day, back to the fatigue again for a few days. So, now I'm trying to embrace my inner dishrag.
And I think there's light at the end of the tunnel.
Linda, I'm sorry to hear about your DH needing a biopsy. That would make me completely nuts. It's worse in some ways to wait for your loved ones' cancer tests than it is to wait for your own. Crap, honey.
Faith! How are you, honey? Busy as usual!
Hollyann, this is Jeckyl & Hyde Central, believe me, so you just fit right in with the rest of us loonies!
Jane M, hugs to you. Do you need me to make a visit for some home PT?? Unsteady gait is one of my specialties!!
Coonster, Jayne, Shiny, Lori, Mary, Barbe, Cheryl, Kay Kay, Sharon, Julz, EWB, mum, everyone I've not mentioned by name, great big HUGS.
Mum, I echo other sentiments previously expressed & would love you to caption those beautiful photos of you Canadian Gals with names!

Howdy and HUGS for all. There is no way I can catch up on all the news and posts.
Lots going on these past few days. I flew to Pittsburgh, visited Mom, age 96, in nursing home - she went to ER for torn rotator cuff, saw sister for first time since I went bald, went to the brand new casino in Pittsburgh, return flight delayed due to storm, etc, etc. 94 degrees and brother does not have AC - I stayed at his house. My sweat was sweating... LOL.
Can I apply for exemption from housework? Ooops, I did not win the lottery, so guess I gotta do it myself now... LOL
-
Nancy, I'll send someone over to help out.
-
-
-
Hugs, Nancy! Anyone who visits this thread is automatically exempt from housework for any length of time necessary.
-
Excellent idea Kathi!
-
The result of my CT scan said that I have a 1.5 cm mass in my left axillary region. Radiologist recommends PET scan or biopsy to rule out/confirm mets or recurrence. I see Med Onc on Friday. Since DD has Lyme Disease and UTI, I don't have the heart to tell him yet.
-
Arnie, good luck with chemo today.....Praying for a quick recovery and no nausea...
KAK..Thank you....I'm glad i am not alone......Also Kathi, the link for the t-shirts did not work for me......Can you PM me the information?......Thanks!.....
You know I started this post about 3 or 4 HOURS ago......Sheesh I keep getting side tracked.....
Lots of hugs to you all..........
