Happy birthday Jayne!!!!!!!
Just got back from the south of France; the weather was maily very lovely, the pool was fun with the kids..but on the whole, the angst in the house was too much to call it a succesful holiday. There were good moments, but my husband thinks we should consider not going there (at my mum in laws's Summer home(x2) next summer. I was the mediator and did my best, and did my "go with the flow" thing.. anyhoo, won't bore you with the details.. views were fantastic though, and I got to speak alot of french (which is my native tongue) everyday which was nice.
I was at page 245 when I left girls, so am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not aware of your "goings on", I hope nothing too bad has happened, although, well, I've seen that you Barbe been through a bit of a hell with post Mick affairs!!! (((((((((hugs)))))))) and that Arnie's chemo is treating her bad.. ((((((((hugs))))))))) to you my dear!
So for what has been going on in pages 245 to this one, all my oh my goodness!! deary me's!!! and bless your cotton socks!!!! oh lalas!!! and of course "flippin heck, no way!. Hope it's been reasonable or better, think Peachy!! for you all.
Sending loving supporting vibes your way ladies. nighty night

Hello dust bunnies
Thank you so much for all the happy birthday wishes and the beautiful pics. They were absolutely amazing. Lori I would also love to know how you did that. I had a really good day. Nick and I went to our local summer festival yesterday. It was great just wandering around in the sunshine looking at all the stalls and activities. Then in the evening we had a BBQ at home. So I had some bangers Lucy, but no mash
I even had a glass of wine, it's OK my chemo nurse said if I fancied a glass of wine I should have one.
I seem to have been out a lot the last couple of days and we are going out again this afternoon for a picnic with some friends. So I have done my best to catch up while I have a chance.
Coonie yes the whole bc thing added a certain something to the occasion. I know I really appreciate being around to celebrate another birthday.
Linda I hope you had a great day at the beach. I love the beach and don't get to go as often as I would like.
Lucy great news on no weight restrictions for lifting. Don't overdo it though.
Faith I'm delighted that your event was a big success. You deserve it! Hope your voice is recovering.
Arnie That's a lovely photo of your dd and gd. I'm so glad you will get to go to your family reunion, that has to be well worth pushing your chemo back for.
Jaimieh pleased that you are back home, sorry that you had to take a cath with you though. Wishing you a fast recovery. Oh and definitely no housework, not for you and not for any of us either!
Mum have a great time with the Ont. Ladies. Look forward to seeing some pics.
Shiny you're back! Sorry your vacation wasn't perfect, but sounds as though there were some good bits.
Cheryl love the pic of you with your Dad.
KAK I hope you are doing well. I have sent you a message on FB regarding a T-shirt.
I have to go and start getting this picnic together. Wishing you all a fantastic Sunday. Hugs to all. Anyone I haven't mentioned by name or who hasn't posted in a while I hope you are doing well too.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Arnie (and all the Arnies!), Coonie, Linda, Jane, Julz, Lucy, Faith, Kathleen, Sharon, Lori, Mumayan, and all the other wonderful dust bunnies- hope you have a great Sunday!!
We are having a little impromptu pool party. A good friend of the family has her granddaughters here for a month, so she is bringing them to our pool today. Should be fun! -
Good morning all you slacking dusty buns! I am at work hoping to sneak out early for the Ontario get-together and then up the highway home to pick up DH. Then off to Deerhurst resort for 5 days with family before heading to North Bay for my son's wedding. So I may not be around in posts, but certainly in spirits.
I hope to come back to find all catheters removed ((((((Jaimaie))))))) and everyone else on treatment feeling better; Faith resting her voice; and Sharon sitting patiently in #32 the SWAN waiting for someone to pedal her off somewhere.
Hugs everyone!
-
Barbe -- head off with a smile. I promise to rest my voice until Thurs. LOL
Enjoy this new cycle of festivities.

It's SO much nicer having it coming in than coming out eh? Way to go Arnie. Pretty soon you'll have no time for housework 'cause you'll be working on your new hair styles.
-

-
Arnie congrats on the new hair growth! I would be excited too.
-
Thanks Jayne!!! Hope you had another great day today, birthday girl!!!

well I have to admit.......the birthday cake was not a great feat in my computer ability (which I have none)......all I did was search happy birthday Jayne on photobucket and just got lucky to find that pic. So sorry to disappoint but that is my secret.
Congrat on the peach fuzz arnie
can you imagine having enough hair to do this
(edited for spelling)
-
rofl...nope can't imagine LM...lol I will be happy to use a comb again
Although I gotta say it hasn't been so bad being bald...my showers are much faster....hehehe
-
YEAH for Arnie!! You're on the road back to french braids and ponytails.... just a few more weeks.
I'm over @ DD's/babytown. With my laptop outta commission & my DH up in WI -- I'm outta luck.
Big hugs to all in need today.

Hi, Shiny! Sorry the vacation was a bit taxing. Nothing should feel taxing in southern France -- that's just so unfair! Okay, here's one of my fave expressions from your side of the pond....hate it when men act like wankers!!
Arnie! Love that peach fuzz!
Cheryl, what a precious, adorable picture of you & your dad! You got his smile for sure.
BTW, Arnie, that book would sure come in handy in my house -- maybe that's what I could do with the dog hair instead of vacuuming it all up & throwing it away...
Gee, Lori, I was all excited when my hair was long enough to twist up with chopsticks!!
I have Mom's snail mail address if anyone needs it. Send me a PM.
-
Good morning dust bunnies. Hope all of you have a great week!!
Arnie....LOVE the hair!! You'll have a full head of it before you know it
So happy for you!
MaryRose.....has yours started coming back yet?
Mine didn't start until I was completely done with chemo. Then it came on fast.
Cheryl!!! Your pics is soooooo cute with your dad!!!!
(((((((((((((((((((hugs to ya all))))))))))))))))))
-
Thanks for breakfast Coonie. That's diet coke int he coffee cups, right?
Cheryl, I love the pic of your dad too.
Have a great day.
Linda
-
I actually had a doughnut like that, last week, when I was in my Diva phase. Thanks for the happy reminder, Coonie.
Laptop still not the least bit functional. Slept over here @ DD's so I could keep using her machine. LOL. She feeds me & let's me stay connected to you good people.
Everyone have a great launch to the week ahead. Take care of each other if I fall off the grid.

-
Arnie, love the hair!......
Shiny, welcoem back, sorry your vacation was taxing as KAK says.....
Coonie thanks for breakfast...Are those donuts sugar-free?...
Hope all my dust bunnies have a great week........ -
Arnie- Loving the hair!! I can't wait until I have that much!!
Coonie- I am starting to see some very small hair growth. Everyone tells me not to get excited, but I am!
I am going to have to shave my legs today. I'd rather have it on my head, but there is some activity up there too. Just not much. I still have 9 Taxol treatments to go, but a lot of people have told me theirs started growing back on Taxol. If there is one thing I was blessed with it's thick, healthy and fast growing hair. I hope it comes through for me again!! Of course that was pre-chemo.
Faith- I feel your pain on the computer problems. I'm still on my laptop. I just can't type on this thing at all! I want my desktop back. Time to call the repair shop I think. And the boob store. All these people were supposed to have already called me. A week ago.
Happy Monday to all. I am back in my funk. I go for labs today and chemo tomorrow. Mondays and Tuesdays are now my "in a funk" days. Oh well. After tomorrow, 8 more.
Hugs!!
