Trying to catch up again BUT I now have 2 reasons not to do housework. I have been in the hospital since Tuesday so they could remove my implants for what was thought to be a mechanical failure only to find out it was an infection. I chose to keep my girls symetrical so when they went into my left which looked fine it was infected also. So they where able to put implants back in but now it's high does antibotics and praying that the infection stays away.
-
Morning Ladies! Yes, I am still in pain and the stupid ulcer has another hole in it! I guess I put too much weight on it yesterday going to the hair salon and to pick up my prescriptions!
Jaimieh - had to have my expanders removed due to infection - so sorry to hear you have same problem.
BKC - Good for you!!!!!! It is great to be recognized, isn't it?
Coonie - hi girlfriend - hope all is well with you.
Linda - good luck tomorrow - I will be praying for you.
Arnie - Hugs
Lucy - it was good to hear your voice last night - as always. Pain is nerve wracking, isn't it.
Jayne in the UK, Sharon, Jane, Faithie, Deb, KAK, Nancy - hugs and kisses.
Gosh, I hope I haven't forgotten anyone - believe me it was unintentional - just old age and memory loss.
-
Morning all,
I have woken up really tired this morning and have been sitting here debating with myself should I go back to bed or just keep going.
So this may sounded bizarre but I think I just need someone to tell me that it is okay to go back to bed and that I am not lazy.
Thanks for listening
Hugs
Viv

Vivvy, you can ALWAYS go back to bed. You are not Lazy. You are a cancer patient & cancer sucks the energy right out of us. HUGS.
Linda, take a valium if you have any, maybe a benadryl when you get there if you don't. At least no squishing! Call me after if you feel like it! I'll be home...
Coonster, I am taking a great supplement with iron, B12, C & folic acid. Plus I take a B-1,2,6 complex sometimes. Plus I eat incredibly well. Plus I do exercises 3-4 days/week most of the day with my patients. And I still feel like dog-doo. Need a real, honest-to-gosh assessment of my fatigue & need not to get the brush-off again from the doctors. That's what I need.
Hugs to all!

Thanks KAK, you guys always understand.
Hope that you start to feel better soon.

The oncologist says it has to come out and be biopsied. He also wants to do a PET scan, too. I see the surgeon on Tuesday to schedule the biopsy and he will schedule the PET scan for next week.
-
Oh gosh.........Jane........sending gentle hugs..........and prayers all is ok........
-
Well heard from Jane, now if Linda would let us know...I feel horrible today, achey all over and even walking is a major chore, just feel so wore out...I started that Arimidex yesterday, but at the same time and yes I know I should have weaned myself off of it, I stopped my Lexapro Monday, so not sure if this is from the Armidex or the lexapro withdrawels..but sure hope whatever it is, it goes away! ugh!
Hugs

Deb, I'm here! Thanks for asking. I had n MRI done at 4 today in Boston. Not fun to be in the city at 4 on a nice hot friday! The MRI took about n hour, had the contrast and noncontrast. I don't get the results until Monday. DH took me out for cosmos after because I was so uptight. Not anymore!!! I Will let you know what the results are on Monday. Thanks for all the concern and prayers.
Jane, I hope for the best for your tests next week. Hope for a B9 biopsy!! I will keep you in my prayers. Hang in there sistah!! XOXOXOXO
Hugs to all my friends. Thanks so much for all your support,
Linda

Gentle hugs and prayers for all. My apartment looks like a disaster. Trying to find the right color thread to sew a button on my blouse.... two bins of sewing supplies on the floor. Gotta clean it up, or at least kick it out of the way !!! Of course I have a zillion other blouses I could wear... I do have the button.
Why is it some days the littlest chore grows into a monumental challenge? I am soooooo glad I no longer have the house and yard to deal with. I look back and wonder how and why I waited so long to sell and move to an apartment. As much as I loved the garden, how on earth could I do that now? I admire those of you who are dealing with kiddos, houses and yards. My DIL called me a minimalist... getting rid of all the clutter and unnecessary stuff. But she smiled and said she wishes she could do some of the same.
Time for another cup of coffee and more procrastination. HUGS for all, Nancy
-
This last post was # 2000, do I get an award? Just kidding.... LOL
-
Super award for the 2000th post!! No housework for a week -- for any of us!!!!
Hugs to Jane in the waiting...... and Linda you too.
I finally got my laptop to cooperate with this hotel's internet & now it's time to check out.
Something about Murphy's Law I suppose.
Hugs to all in need.
I have two more programs & then head 'home.'
Hug my babeez & WB and then fly out on Mon to WI for a few last breaths of summer.

Anything I can do to prevent house work. Thanks for the award. I am a thrifty mom, have been called "cheap" sometimes. The clearance bin calls my name when I go into a store, LOL.

YAY, Nancy!
Hugs to Linda & Jane. I get my one-year post-surgery mamm on Tuesday, so our group mantra must be B9 B9 B9 B9 B9 B9.....
Deb, hugs to you. Are you going to go on Effexor to replace the Lexapro? I had a really hard time at first when I was weaning off zoloft & getting up to speed on Effexor after starting tamoxifen. Oy. But I'm fine now, feel good in spirit, even if still battling the fatigue. But at least I'm not depressed about battling the fatigue!! LOL...
Hugs to everyone else, too. Julz, I'll have to open up Photoshop & see what I can do...
