    Wow!!   Didn't think I'd EVER catch up with everyone's posts!!   I've missed you all soooo much, and am glad I was finally able to give myself a BCO day today to read & post!   It made me tear up to read about everyone because I am just so grateful that you're all out there in forum-land whenever any of us needs a cyber-hug & a ready-made cheering section.   Mom, listen, you and I are both healthcare therapists & we do that because we find great satisfaction in doing something tangible to help people, so I really understand what you're saying.  But you can have both, you know, so you just pop in here & visit now & then.  I think we all have to cycle in and out sometimes depending on how we feel.

    I've had a tough time with fatigue & I'm pissed that my oncs have done nothing for me about it.  But I saw my PCP recently & the labs he ordered showed my red & white counts are below normal.  So, at least there a reason why I feel like this.  Also, Jane M, the one-year anniversary of my surgery is coming up & my surgeon only just got back to work -- part-time for now--  after being out since that stinkin' mamm scare I had in April when she was away & her husband died.  I will be getting a one-year post-op mamm in about a week & then seeing her a week later for the first time since February.  Whenever I think about that, I feel very emotional about all of it.  These last 6 months have been kinda sucky, both for her & for me, but as I said on FB, cancer has not broken my heart the way losing a loved one does.  And yet this anniversary is very fraught for me, so I am going into this next few weeks with a lot of stuff hanging around my heart.  Thanks for letting me offload it here.

    Barbe, I love Lisa Gardner!  Love knowing that Hollyann lives in a now-famous place!!

    Hollyann, hugs to you.  I envy your being able to take a 16 mile bike ride (I USED to be able to do that!!) & I'm glad you're on the mend.

    F&F, you gotta tell me about that airplane conversation!   And those men of yours sure are adorable!

    bkc, your stories about your little girls are so cute.  I'm sorry you can't pick them up right now, but this, too, will pass.  Hugs to you.

    Arnie!!  So glad to hear you feeling energetic!  And you do woodworking??   You talented thing, you!

    Jane M, you are certainly not nuts, although I agree with everyone on how we just fool ourselves if we think we can bargain with God.  But it's normal to be scared.  Not fun, but normal.  Only a fool wouldn't be scared.  Hugs.

    Binney, you read my mind on posting the info on LE.  We all need to keep in mind that LE can hit anytime, even years later, so it's good to get it checked out.

    Cheryl, I'm glad you cut back at work.  Our jobs are hard enough.  If we wear ourselves out, how the heck are we going to do right by our patients?  Oh, and I'm happy to wish you a happy birthday anytime you'd like!!   LOL, Arnie!!

    KAK...((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) good to see you!  Hope you're feeling back to your old self soon!  I feel so much better than I have in weeks and weeks so I've been going crazy getting things done before my 3rd Tx on Tuesday..

    Phew I thought I'd missed Cheryl's birthday and wondered how I managed that. A very early happy birthday to you Cheryl.

    Arnie yes it is my birthday tomorrow and I have started celebrating already. I met a friend for lunch and went out for a meal with Nick this evening. Tomorrow we plan to have a quiet day together, then on Sunday we are meeting friends for a picnic, weather permitting.

    Okay no way can I catch up.  Had my surgery so i have a 3 week get out of housework free pass.  Especially since they sent my home with a cath. What a pain!!!  So I will continue to check in but housework free for  3 weeks :)  I am looking for a positive in this....
