Goodness...that Bare pool area sure offers it all doesn't it!
-
Is that "Bare" pool as in NEKKED? You can go topless there? Boy, this IS Sin City!! I think I'll be at the kiddie pool.
-
Oh yes Judy.. that was it...
.... I will miss you... I just will!Teresa... let us know tomorrow...
Deborah.. I KNOW.. when Stephanie let us know about the naked pool... LOL... We all just lost it.... can you picture... all of us.. naked or topless there... OMGOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank GOD they have the other pool.... we might scare people....LOL LOL LOL LOL
Vegas is getting closer and I am getting excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
-
Hey Journey... where are you sweety?
PS... Deborah... you can NOT possibly be the "age" you say you are... and if you ARE... give us the secret... SERIOUSLY!
-
Could you imagine this group topless by the pool? Since I haven't had my exchange yet, I have one high and nipple-less and the other (the 48 year old one) hangs low. Could you imagine the looks we would get- lol?
-
kj, I had lump, that one looks like I had breast lift, perky, etc. other one is typical for 63 yr old who has to tuck it in waist band...... Lol
-
LeftyAKANAncy--47 year survivor??? That is fantastic. I was 43 when I was diagnosed so when everyone was talking about 5 or 10 year survival rates, I was mad! I want to be a 40+ year survivor. Thanks for letting us know about your mom and I'm sorry you won't be able to make it. But if you do see her, tell her Tracy said hello and thanks for paving the way for long term survival!
-
It is naked, topless and clothed. Its what ever your comfortable with. You have to be at least 21 to be there, they have lots of perks...lol ok I dont mean the boobs....like drinks, food. You can read all about it on the Mirage website.

I am all for the topless but....I will just have finished rads and I was told I can't be in the sun for one year?
I just heard today that my horse is probably going to need leg surgery. I will get this scheduled so that she can have the surgery and recuperate before our trip in Vegas. I got the news right before the Chicago concert I was attending which was AWESOME but I was so distracted by this news that I didn't enjoy myself as much as I would have. I had forgotten all of the wonderful songs that they played in the 70's and 80's - they would start a song and I was like "Oh my gosh....I forgot that was one of theirs!"
-
tkone-To be a 40+ year survivor, you'd be 83. I do not think you want that at this point in time. You have 40 years of living to do.
-
About the Bare pool- I do not know about the rest of you, but that would be too depressing for me, to see all those women topless with perky, real boobs.
-
the bare pool is out for me too Robin...

-
Well, c'mon sisters----you know that in VEGAS, none of those boobs are real ones! They've all been 'augmented'. But then to those of us who've had implants placed, we know the reality of difference between augmentation and mastectomy reconstruction. A world of difference!
I have been scheduled for next fat graft surgery on Sept 17th. which is a week before the Ta Ta Sisters reunion. I am still planning on coming, but if I am not in shape for it, I see that there are five in our room, so one more or less shouldn't matter much.
Not sure how just the fat graft portion will affect me. Last time I had it done in conjunction with the exchange and repair which was extensive suturing, so I'm thinking this time should be easy as pie. We'll see!But with all that perky fat in the tops of my foobs, I will look great in the 'bare' pool---ah, except for the gigantic bruises caused by the lipo on my hip. EEK. Just kidding. Count me out of the 'bare' pool, sisters.
-
Marilyn - I think I am one of your roomies. No worries, I think I will need to take naps during the day or just hang out in the room as I will have just finished rads so if you aren't feeling well we can hang out together.
-
Marilyn,
Hey roomie -- you better be coming! We need you! We'll make sure you have lots of rest breaks. Jax must not be coming (5th in our room). We haven't heard from her in well over a month.
-
MARILYN... NO WAY are you gettin out sister.... LOL..... NO WAY! I will come get you....
-
That is what I wonder... Jax is gone... that bothers me....
-
I know our deadline is coming soon....
I am such a newbie to this whole forum- so if things work out hopefully you ladies wouldn't mind a newbie joining the party. I think this sounds like a WAHOOO time (as Laura would say). I am giving very serious consideration to coming. Just have to sort out the work schedule and figure out a way to get things squared up on the homefront. Hopefully I will have this sorted out by the deadline!
-
OH HECK YES PACKER>... are you kidding... NO ONE IS A NEWBIE here... if you are here, on this site.. ( BC.org)... then you are IN THE GROUP... whether just DX or 20 yrs out... we ALL FIT HERE!
I am so excited.. I hope we have a huge turn out... we are all related thanks to a link called BC!
If you wanna come... YOU COME AND YOU ARE IN THE GROUP!
GOD BLESS YOU...
Ladies.. Tracey is traveling right now..LOL ( she just got back to work as an air line studious).. so I think I can speak for her on this... NO ONE IS EXCLUDED from our trips.. NO ONE!
WE ARE ALL THE TA TA SISTERHOOD...
Small boobs.... No boobs.. implants.. you name it WE ALL HAD BC or we WERE GONNA GET IT.. so we took matters into our own hands!
Again... I repeat....
WE ARE ALL THE TA TA SISTERHOOD!
Packer... WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
-
Stephanie... Hi there... did you see the St. Peregrine thread I started... just wanted you to have it too...:) Cannot wait to meet!
-
Hey---I SAID that I'm still comin'. Just no BARING ALL in the bare pool, cuz my lipo bruises might scare somebody!
My computer has been down all afternoon! Now it's crashed my network, and I have to set it all up again, which it's not cooperating. Egads. Tomorrow's another day.
Packergirl, we'd love to have you! Definitely! Join us. Just say YES!!! WOO HOO!!!
Thanks Robin and Jancie, my ROOMIES!!! I sure hope that Jax is okay.
-
Well good.. see how loved you are Marilyn...:)
-
Marilyn - You can as EASILY recover in your hotel oom and at the pool as you can on your sofa at home!! Plus...you have PAIN MEDS!
packergirl - Yes - you must try to make this trip!!!
This thing about Jax missing....it is something I wish we had a way of following up on...for any of us...
-
Laura: You crack me up. An airline studious? The image I have is of Tracy learning all about airlines. pouring over the books at night.....I love typos...sometimes they are so funny...JUDY
-
TYPOS are my worst nightmare... If only I would spell check.. SS .. I am the WORST at hitting spell check... makes me look like and idiot...LOL.. But I agree Judy.. that was a funny typo...~wink~
I agree Deborah... I wish we had a way to check up on those MIA. As I do have a lot of gals e-mails and #'s here... by no means can an individual have them all.... something to think about.
-
Janice,
I read your post and I was thinking she went to a concert in Chicago and didn't even say who she saw....LOL I had to read it 3 times before I figured it out. I need sleep.
Teresa
-
Who else is going that needs a hotel roomate? Out of my "original" foursome, I am the only one going. I haven't booked a room yet. Anyone???
-
Kjbell (Karen), why don't you just join in our room, since I will most probably need to be replaced, and Jax can't seem to be contacted. Tracey--add her into our room and if I am able to come, I'll get my husband to drive me up and I can always stay at my girlfriend's house. She lives in Vegas. I am a iffy at this point with surgery scheduled for the week before. But, who knows. If I can, I will be there. I'm a can do kind of woman. Yes! I don't want to leave Karen out in the cold, though, so move on in, sister. I insist!
-
So I am thinkin... they have a topless pool area... and I don't know how to put this into a words in a post... but cartoon images of a woman taking off her top, and then her boob, and sunning herself...
I betcha dimes to donuts there are NOT gorgeous people at the nekkid pool. What there would be are cheesy men who want to see gorgeous women going topless at the pool, but that ain't going to happen, cause aside from everything else, this is Vegas, if you want a gorgeous nekkid woman, you gotta pay $$$$ for it... no one is giving that away for free, especially in Vegas...
and then I think about the cabana... since the hotel will charge the cheesy men (and I guess the women as well) for the privilege of going to the nekkid pool, if a whole bunch a varied *really topless* as in, missing boobs show up, if they have any problem with that... maybe they'd GIVE the group a cabana, to keep the pretty bodies on view and hide the wounded from the cheesy men...
like at the fair... you gotta be THIS TALL to get on the ride... but with 20 women who have just been through hell and are healing up and missing parts there can not be a restriction on nude sunbathing. You are not alone when you are there, girls. i wish I was going if only to sit with you at the pool with your various bodies for support- I still got both of them except one's still got the radiation tan. It's reality. Let em deal with it, it aint your problem. It's as real as the fat cheesy guys who are bound to be up there, puffing on cigars with garish jewelry, hoping to look like they have a pile of money (which they dont because if they did, they'd have their own place and half nekkid women strew about their own pool). I sure dislike seeing them, but they have a right to put their ugly selves on view- and you gals are BEAUTIFUL inside and out.
Just a thought. You have nothing to be ashamed of. Enjoy yourselves. F*ck 'em if they can't take a joke- this is YOUR life. Enjoy.
On the sun and radiation thing, my RAD ONC was a total waste of time when I asked about that. She looked at me like I was asking her to string the moon on a slice of cheese. I asked my wonderful ONC and he said it made no sense, if anything, the radiated boob would be better in the sun than the non-radiated boob, because it had just gotten far more radiation than a sunburn could do. I can't find any information on that on the web.
