Oh Sandy.. would love to say hi.. but am so groggy on Demerol.. that I am awake a little then just fall asleep and my mouth falls open... hehe... true story..
I would not remember chatting... when I am off this drug.. HOPEFULLY Thurs-Fri... I wanna visit
Heck it has taken me like 10 min. to type this....ROFLOL...
450c were what PS put in me.. you were right ...:) They do seem a little flat now, I think this is ok though....
-
Thur I have a 2 hour drive to my doctor appointment
maybe I will try calling than
we told Kelsey we bought the small suv and she thinks we're pulling her leg
I guess that's what we get for teasing her and saying we didn't lol
I'm sure in time they will fluff a little and be even better ; - )
-
I was wondering do you guys think I will be healed enough to enjoy myself for the trip? I have my exchange on August 31st.
Is anyone doing shows? I got tickets to see Zumanity.
Teresa
-
All,
I am currently in Las Vegas for a conference and went to see Zumanity tonight. It is a fabulous show, but there is definitely a lot of skin showing. You will see lots and lots and LOTS of boobs of all shapes and sizes. It is a SCANDALOUS show! But incredibly fun. I think I will try to go see "O" when we are all here together.
-
You know....you'd think a show called "O" would have more skin than Zumanity...

My bad? -
GOOD ONE Barbe...... BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
-
Laura - how are you feeling today?
I am getting so excited about meeting everyone in Vegas I just can't contain myself

-
LOL... me to Jancie! I just woke up...
I feel pretty good.. still taking the Demerol.. but Doc said I will need it through Fri. probably... I have not slept this much since Chemo.....
Thanks for Checking! I am hanging in there and cannot wait to wear a normal bra next week...:)
-
Geez.....they didn't give me demerol
The best I got was some morphine pills which aren't the same as getting morphine shots in the ER - LOL.Glad you are feeling good! I am hoping radiation doesn't knock me on my arse. Combine the fatigue of radiation with a few drinks and heck....I might be out like a light!
-
tracey, what is the per night rate for a double? Is it $162??? DH and I are trying to figure out how we could manage it.
Thanks
-
Terasa you should be good to go and even be able to swim in the pool
I haven't looked into any shows yet...
-
Thanks for answering Sandy, I have so many questions and I do appreciate when someone answers them LOL. I posted like 3 times on the exchange board a different question and no one ever answered me : (
I can't wait for this trip....looking forward to it.
Teresa
-
Teresa... ss.. I would answer any question I know an answer to..:).. I am just at the beginning of this exchange thing too....
..... Vegas.. here we come!!! -
Mona... yes, I think the rate is 162.00.. this is what I paid to hold my room.... I hope you can swing a night or two... how fun!!!
-
All,
On the question of shows-I saw a discount code for two of the Cirque du Soleil shows, "Ka" and "Mystere". If you call and mention the "SUMMER" discount code, you pay for one ticket and the second one is only 25.00. This is a great deal since tickets run anywhere from 60-100 dollars. However, they only have a limited amount of seats with these discounts, so if you want to see a show, I would make your reservations earlier rather than later.
-
Also, I got tickets for Zumanity by using a discount code on ebay. It was 2.99 and it saved me 35% off which was awesome! I got great seats!

Be sure and remember there are what are called Hero rates, If you have a spouse in Iraq or Afganistan, active military you can save up to half your hotel costs. Be sure and tell them if you have a military husband or wife when booking! Sherry7
-
Teresa feel free to PM me any time, I don't got on line as much as I used to but if I get a e-mail saying I have a PM I will try to get on and help
-
Mona,
I am sorry! I have no idea why I never posted the double occupancy info! DUUUHHH! I will post it Monday.
Hope everyone had a good weekend!

I can't even begin to tell you what an amazing time we had at our reunion! I will save details later, for now I would like to ask you all for prayers and positive vibes for our sister Susie. She FINALLY went to OHSU for a 2nd opinion! The dr took 1 look at her and said, "Susie this is serious!" He said she needed to get in surgery ASAP! The soonest he could fit her in was Aug 11th. He told her she will be in hospital a minimum of 2 weeks and the first half of that will be in ICU! The surgery will take a min of 8 hours!!!! Please pray they can get this taken care of once and for all and that she will be recovered enough for our Vegas trip.
I am posting a pic of Susie and I from our reunion. p.s. we didn't go to the same school but lived in the same small town and were united through a mutual friend. We are definitely soul sistas! I think it's apparent in our photo. :-)
Laura I have been thinking of you and hope you are healing well.
HUGS!!! JazzyJ

I am doing fine..:)... got my exchange and put my pictures on the Picture Forum.... ~gulp~
I go to my PS tomorrow for my followup... I think I will be able to get out of the compression bra...WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... I am excited to wear a normal bra... of even a shelf bra ( more my style)..:) Thanks for asking...:)
PLEASE PLEASE tell Susie we are pulling for her bigtime.. and are SOOOOOOOO mad she has to do this.. and.. get me her # at the hospital when you get it....

Hi Ladies!!!
Ok I have a couple of questions about Vegas. I am so excited about going and Im going to include a little site seeing too. So Im going to a show on Sunday night and I really really want to go to the Las Vegas Mob tour its a 6pm for 2 1/2 hours but Im not sure when to do that. Friday or Saturday. I dont want to miss out meeting everyone. Are we going to have a night we are all going to go have a "dancing, drinking, crazy, let it all hang out kind of time"???? What do you guys think? Should we tentatively plan something?
Teresa
-
Laura,
I looked for your photos on the forum...I cant find them what is the name of your thread??
Teresa
-
I got my flight booked!! I am arriving on Friday at 12:00 noon via Southwest and leaving Monday at 1:45 pm.
For some reason I got a title by my name when booking the trip as CLU - whatever the heck that means and hopefully it won't screw me up!
-
Wonderful!
I am coming alone.. so I plan to hang with the TA TAs the whole trip... so I am up to anything. The only plan I have is having fun with my girls....
Tracey... is there a day/night that we are ALL going to be together.. for those that are coming with family or friends...???????????????
You all are stuck with me the whole trip........................ ROFLOL.........................
-
Jazzy.....you won my HEART along time ago!! Thank you for the Great weekend & for letting everyone know about my next surgery. Linda & Estepp-Thank you too!! I'll make sure Jazzy knows what is going on so you can stay in touch with her and anyone else who would like to know. I've got less than 2 weeks to get everything ready for my family to be ok & getting alot of medical records to OHSU. This will be the 1st surgery away from home, won't be 20 minutes away for little one to come & see me-Portland is about 1 1/2 hours away. Trying to contact friends who have offered in the past to help to make sure that Hubby is doing ok & make it easier for him & daughter with church family preparing meals & setting up playdates. Will be cutting it close with recovery time to go to Vegas, but no matter what...I'm listening to the Dr.'s so I can go!!!!!
Who would've thought all the battles we women have to go thru after finding out we have Cancer- We are fighters/ surviors/ & TA TA Sisters I'll stay in touch before I head in to my next hospital resort!!!! Love ya all
Prayers to all that need healing

Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
No doubt Susie... Here's to ya girl.... God Bless your healing and minimal , minimal pain!
-
Susie - I'm glad you are heading to Portland. When I was 12 I was in the Hood River hospital (due to accident at Lost Lake) so I know how small that hospital is. Get in there and get yourself well! You will be in my prayers.
PS - I'm not able to go to Vegas but I coundn't help giving my two cents.
Sonia
-
Sonia... you going for sure?
