    Thanks so much Susie!  I hope my husband finds a job soon too.  If not, once I get thru my sugeries, etc., I'll be looking!

    We have insurance for now....but will need to find new insurance in 2010.  I never know how much I NEEDED insurance till now!

    I sure hope so Rachel!  We leave on vacation tomorrow and I should go to bed....but I have to make sure the others don't start a "vote rally" or something.

    Lisa, I went to the site and viewed the top 3, your's is OBVIOUSLY the best, but couldn't see where to vote! There were no options to vote anywhere I checked or clicked. I've voted for 3 other ladies for other contests, so it can't be the Canadian thing, could it?

    barbe....a few people have had trouble figuring out where to vote!  sorry about that!

    it's way at the bottom, after the first video, after my video/photo montage and after all those pictures of girls painted blue LOL!

    there is a little box that says "who deserves to win?" and then has contestants 1, 2 and 3.  i'm #3 with cancer survivor lisa as my name.

    Lisa..........OH Man am I ever bawling.  Your video was so beautiful and hit so close to home.  I had my DH watch it and he lost it too.  Bless you and your sweet family!

    HUGS all round!  Our trip to Vegas...well it was eventually fun...but we sure hit some bumps along the way...ugh don't feel like going in to it now.  We are home now and safe.

    WOOOO HOOOO Jazzy! Sounds like fun. Sorry I have been out of the loop lately. I lost a BC sister last week, we got dx around the same time. She was 42 and leaves behind 2 young children and a devastated husband. Her name is Tiffanny and she will be missed! Then I had surgery to have my port removed so the week has been BUSY!

     I PROMISE I will update the Vegas list this weekend! This is gonna be an AWESOME adventure! We all REALLY deserve this!!

    I have been PM'ing with Tracey back and forth the last week or so and since she said she would find me a room, I will be buying my tickets tomorrow to join ya'll!!!    I am fairly new on the site and I have only met one other member but this is my chance to meet ya'll face to face and I am so looking forward to it!

    I will have just completed my rad treatment so hopefully I won't be too darn exhausted as I don't plan on sleeping much on this trip!   Pack shorts, etc. because it is going to be so hot there this time of the year.

    Tracey - I saw the dates but I would have to go back page by page to see where we are staying and my system is too slow and I lack the patience.  Is there a shuttle from the airport to the hotel (whichever one we are staying at?)  What arrival time should I be looking at?  I am sure there are quite a few flights from SLC to Vegas daily so I want to pick a good time to arrive.

    Lisa - I am so glad you won.  It is a little bit it of heaven in this awful situation we are living.  It is so nice to see that this whole BC comraderie does some good for some people. 

    I am soooooooo.... down right now.  I think I just had the final  breakup with my BF.  Things haven't been good ever since my diagnosis, and I think we finally realized that we both need to move on in different directions.  Sometimes life just sucks, and this is one of them!  

    You all are so wonderful and the first people I want to come talk to when I am upset.  I love you all for you genersity of spirit, and being there when needed.  I am not a religious person, but maybve I need to be.  I am not making it well on my own.
