I hope you are healing well, learning much here, and living your life to the fullest ( we know SANDY is...:).... go SANDY!)

I have been busy with my hubby's band ( local summer carnivals here  ..fun fun..) and work and then I got Food Poisoning. I went to doctor today, and he said I could still be sick today from food poisoning.. ( been throwing up for three days.. and THIS IS NOT LIKE ME.. I am not a puker.. actually.. I NEVER NEVER NEVER get sick)... anyway... I am still pretty week, but wanted to say him to my girls. I miss you and your stories.

I am getting close to the day I was told.. " You have BC"... so it is really emotional around here.. ( again..... NOT ME)... but hubby and I are doing the tears together.. so I has me a boo hoo buddy...hehe.

Really though, only you all know how I feel ... my sisters...

Ladies....this is why this site is soooo GREAT!!!  We all understand what each other is going thru & can share that, plus what worked to get us to the next place & what didn't.  We never knew what kind of strength we had till Cancer came into our lives.  I'm surrounded by POWERFUL-STRONG-CARING-LOVING-UNDERSTANDING WOMEN!! The sorces we use to get us thru one day at a time,be it humor,tears,prayers,giving support to each other-we know deep inside we have already won this battle,but still need our sister's, cause after all we are women & we feel thing's more deeply & need constant ressurrance that everything will be ok-I know I do and all of you help me in that department!!

Thanks Susie!!!  They interviewed us for probably an hour and look a 3 min segment.  haha  Didn't get anything that my daughter had to say.  They are in the process of working with Fox to change the voice over.  They said that I had a bilateral, but then went on to say that I had a lumpectomy and a partial mastectomy.  huh??  I had a bilateral mastectomy which means the removal of both breasts.  urgh...but other than that I'm happy with it.  Of course I would have loved them to have added other stuff I talked about....I talked about the ta ta sisterhood!!  My soul sista pink warrior friend Susie....but anyway here's the link:

I was fully clothed under the robe and my ps kept playing with my boobs and cracking me up...he even put steri strips on my shirt to make it look like he was really doing something.

Hi Kathie YAY!  I'm SO GLAD You will be joining us in Sept for the Race for the Cure!!!  I'm BUMMED you won't be joining us in Vegas though!!!

On another note, My Daughter had a special Art show tonite that was also a small graduation celebration from Pre-School!! They showed us yoga/sign language/song's/art work, all the stuff the Wonderful Teacher Janet has taught them-AHHH

I believe I was the Mom who took the most picture's   LOL LOL  Some were giving me a fun hard time, but at the same time wishing they had done it as well-hey you only live once...so live it to the fullest & capture every moment you can!!!

Hey Girls....do you know who "TERRY FATOR"  is??  He won America's got Talent 2 years ago & he is performing at the Mirage during our stay.  He does celebrity impression's,a singer, comedian & ventriloquist-he's amazing!!  There is a 25% discount being offered on ticket's,but after I checked the prices,$59 was the lowest,don't know if  that is with the discount. I thought it couldn't hurt to throw it out there. The only date's he is performing while we are there is the 25th-Friday & 26th-Saturday at 7:30 for both day's.

Did  I tell you all that I am on the Look Good, Feel Better video?   On the before and after photos, I am the 3rd one down on the left.    I have enough hair now to think about a hair cut to clean up the back and sides.  The video was done last July, almost a year ago.   How time flies.
