Dear Deb:
Your post made me even sadder, and I am still praying for you, harder and harder!
Here's something pretty that I hope will brighten your day.
Be sure to watch this to the end when all the state flowers come together as one.

Dearest Deb,I'm sorry you have something going on in your lungs, and hope it's copd too. I hope you don't turn any grief inward, and just accept you as you are: loving, strong, and hanging in.My prayers go all to you, and kbug, adn debc, and flalady and all the wonderful ladies here, too many to mention, who need our support. That's what we are, your faithful supporters, come high or low. Thanks for keeping us updated, Deb, and here's wishing you a blessed night.Tender

slonedeb. we are all imperfect. human. flawed. with failings. all of us. there are areas of our lives where we ache to move into better action on our own behalf -- yet continue to fail.
no one here is expecting perfection from you in the process. we are here for you, without judgement, without condemnation. we are here to support you.
please give yourself the benefit of the doubt. you've done the best you could -- we're proud of you.
if you get motivated to quit by this news -- we're here to support you thru that as well.
we are always in your corner.

Dear Deb:
I forgot to tell you that all those cute 8th-graders dressed in pink shirts offered prayers for you and Deb C!
Here's a prayer for November~~~~~
God of fallen leaves lying in colored patterns on the ground, our lives have their own patterns. As we see the patterns of our own growth, may we learn from them.
God of misty days and harvest moon nights, there is always the dimension of mystery and wonder in our lives. We always need to recognize your power-filled presence. May we gain strength from this.
God of harvest wagons and fields of ripened grain, many gifts of growth lie within the season of our surrender. We must wait for harvest in faith and hope. Grant us patience when we do not see the blessings.
God of geese going south for another season, your wisdom enables us to know what needs to be left behind and what needs to be carried into the future. We yearn for insight and vision.
God of flowers touched with frost and windows wearing white designs, may your love keep our hearts from growing cold in the empty seasons.
God of life, you believe in us, you enrich us, you entrust us with the freedom to choose life. For all this, we are grateful.Amen.

Dear Deb,Is it a nice Kentucky fall day, Deb? Maybe you got to sit outside for just a bit, to breathe in the change, see the red hue foliage, and get some warm southern sun. I hope your DH may pull up a chair for the two of you, and let you drink from Mother Nature for just a bit. We are very thankful for his help.I walked a tad myself outside today and said a prayer for you and DebC, HeatherB, and all we sisters and brothers. This October was noticeably more quiet on breast cancer here and about, and I'm hoping this is due to just the WH race. Did you get to cast your vote, Deb, maybe by absentee ballot? Such an honor to live in a democracy, with free elections: never should we let this pass through our fingers.Prayers tonight for you Sister. May you not be in pain, may you enjoy the food and drink brought to you, may you sleep the dreams of comfort and peace and awake refreshened.((Hugs))Tender

Dear Debbie, I was thinking of you today, As I fight to get medical help, I pray we get people elected that take better care of us. I pray that you have peace threw the night and know alot of people are praying for you. God bless you, Debbie
-
Faith, Tender, Footsie, and dearest Deb~~~~blessings upon you and all our sisterhood (and brotherhood). We are fighting our personal battles as well as those of all people looking for help with this disease. Big job, but many of us believe The Big Guy (or Gal?) is working with us, even if we don't always quite understand His methods!
Beautiful Sunday~~~for all.
-
Beautiful Sunday, indeed. I was able to put that extra hour to good use this morning and actually 'slept' thru it!! For a person with very disruptive sleep cycles -- that was a joy in itself!
Slonedeb, you are indeed surrounded by a mighty group of Slone Rangers who pray for your daily needs, pray for your family, pray for your medical team's wisdom. Thru the ups and the downs we'll continue to be here for you, as you teach us about "riding out our storms."
I pray that today has calm weather for you and that you can rest a bit from all of the recent storm-ridin' that you've been up to. Take the best care of yourself that you are able. Treasure these last few leaves on the trees..... winter will be knocking soon enough.

slonedeb. sending you some good wishes for a restful night ahead.
i've done something very rare for me: i've gotten started packing early for this week's travels! it's such a good feeling to get a 'jump' on this job (not my favorite...... i always tell people that they pay me to travel and pack ....... i'll speak for free. LOL.)
i don't know how connected i will be to the web...... so i'll count on our other Slone Rangers to step up and help keep you company, as the week unfolds.
ride out your storms, sister........
and as Stephanie would remind us: "God is able."

Getting around that time for me, Deb, to say good night to you all and my family, and enter into a restful sleep. Our immune system restores itself in fascinating ways in sleep, and I always encourage a routine of it, with a very dark room to aid in this natural act.I will say a special prayer for you, and kbug, and debC, and Christina, and all the many sisters and brothers, family members and fathers who are struggling with this disease. Please know you are missed during your much needed absence to rest, and always you are held close in heart.Tender
-
Hi Debbie, I pray that you have a restful night and God knows every tear we cry, Even though we are weak sometimes, God is strong. May the love of God give you peace and joy as you meet tomorrow. Angel Hugs, Debbie

FOR DEB~~~~and all the Slone Rangers
"Lord, in the quiet hour before sleep I turn to you. I reflect on this day, on what I have done, and what I have failed to do.
If I have done any good today, it was when I gave myself up to your will, and allowed you to work in me. All my efforts would be in vain, were it not for the few that had their beginning in you, and that you brought to completion.
I acknowledge the failings of this day: misdeeds I have done, words I have spoken that cannot be taken back, opportunities for good that I have let pass. I do not take for granted your mercy to me. I acknowledge that I do not deserve it. But you have shown me in countless ways the greatness of your love. And so I commend myself to your mercy, and ask forgiveness for my sins.
I do not fear the night, for you are with me. I place my trust in you, and I commend my spirit into your care."Amen
-
happy monday, slonedeb....... getting a hop onto the day...... about to go walking with my neighbor friend -- which is always so theraputic -- on so many levels!! just the gabbing we do is beneficial.
Tender, I bet you're holding your breath thru the election's unfolding. Thank you for everything that you've done to contribute to the process. I was able to vote early last week, as I will be in the airport tomorrow. The line was 2 hours and 15 minutes for me to wait -- but so well worth it!!

Dearest slonedeb..... Was hoping to hear from your test results today. I am so sorry you keep having to weather these storms. Remember in the Bible when Jesus and his disciples were on the boat and the storm came and the disciples feared for their lives? Jesus calmed the storm. May he calm this storm for you and give you peace and freedom from pain. Pam
