I'm in! When is the preview? I didn't see it in the TV Guide?
-
Im in Okla and it is coming on channel 7 at 7pm
-
The actual show starts the 25th.
-
Count me in - I love watching Survivor. Deb
-
Yea, Jeff P was making preditions on who he though would make it and who wouldn't on the preview, it was pretty interesting. They said for every 1 minute that we see 300 minutes had been taped.
-
I wants to join! I missed seeing the preview! What happened? always marsha
-
They just introduced each contestant and kind of what their personalities are like, you can read about them at cbs.com.
-
Survivor mania setting in here--can't wait!!!!
-
I am bummed that I missed that preview!!! Can I join up with you all? I love this show.
-
You bet you can join up with us, can hardly wait until the 25 when it finally starts.
-
Count me in! I have been watching since the first season. I can't wait!
-
I'm in. I've watched since about half way through season 1. Wouldn't miss it for the world!
-
Wouldn't miss it--my favorite show.
-
I'm in! Seen every season.

I'm in, tonight, right?! I like the shows filmed at the islands... I love the baby blue water colors, the warm weather, the sand... I just don't think I would be able to compete anylonger... too out of shape!
-
So, what did every one think? The only person that has impressed me so far is the physics professor form Maine. I agree that Gillian should have gone home, but sending Michelle home first was a little dumb - she was the first woman up the hill for crying out loud. You don't send your strong people home first. JMHO
-
I missed most of it, but was able to check out most of the players involved... interesting little connections going on!!!!!!! LOL
Loved the baby elephants in their natural habitat! LOL
-
I agree ADK about everything. Gillian was plain annoying and Michelle should have stayed. Glad to see Gillian go. The physics guy is impressive but I was surprised he's only 57. He looks 10 years older but acts 20 years younger. What a guy!
I was surprised when they picked the teams. I would have been picking the biggest, strongest guys FIRST. Oh, let's pick the cute pin up girl? Haven't these people ever watched the show before? You need strength in the beginning to keep your team intact. Once the merge happens you get rid of them.
I agree with you Naughty, I know I could never go on that show. I almost have a panic attack if I don't have a constant supply of drinkable water nearby and I get headaches if I don't eat on a regular basis. I'd probably quit after one day.
-
I missed the beginning of the show last night and didn't see how they made up the teams but I agree that Gillian was annoying. How did all the outdoorsy people get on the same team and all the underachievers get on the other team?

Sheila, Gillian and physics guy, being the oldest, got to pick one person each, then that person picked the next and so on and so on. So people were making stupid picks based on who knows what, maybe cuteness. Like I said I would pick the biggest strongest person. Michelle was picked last (well technically not picked at all; she was the last person left and went to Gillian's team by default) but she was the second person in the first race so obviously has something going for her. But she was voted off first; unfortunately she's not a very social person.
So Gillian's team did it to themselves, loading the team up with weak people.
-
I was surpised that they had almost built their sleep rooms. Gillian team wasn't thinking right. There was some other miss fits! Just happy to see something NEW.The sights are GREAT! Is it Thurday yet?
-
Michelle just wasn't a team player so was glad she left, Gillian was a little annoying so was ok with that. But that skinny little Physic guy really amazed me, he may just make it. Anyway, loved the new scenery, should be a good season.
-
can't wait til next Thursday!!! and the next, and the next...
have a question for you die-hard fanantics.........A guy on Jillian's team--Randy--wore a Hawaiaan flower type shirt--kinda mouthy and was real vocal about voting Jillian off right off the bat--a wedding photog.....sacrificed his glasses to make a fishing hook for the team.......anyways, what I read on-line at different sites......
he is from Eagle Rock, Missouri, or Eagle Rock, Minnesota....?????? Just curious, 'cause we live just a couple miles over the state line in Arkansas and go to Eagle Rock, MO quite often----if he is a local guy, we've prob run into him somewhere........
it is driving me nuts! He doesn't have a Minnesota accent, which is quite distinctive; nor, does he speak with a southern drawl........grrrrr.....anybody have an answer???
-
Junie, I looked this up for you. Randy is from Eagle Rock, Missouri.
-
Anyone care that Paloma got kicked off? I wasn't too bothered by it. She didn't seem to be contributing a whole lot to the cause. I have my eye on Ace because he seems like a schemer and maybe Corinne. So far those are the only two that have piqued my interest at all.
-
Yeah, Paloma was a bit of a nonentity. They need Ace for now for his strength but they need to dump him before the merger. I don't have any favourites yet, I guess it's too early.
-
I am watching and don't really have a fav yet but finding out sugar is a lot smarter than I thought she was.
-
So ladies, are you too busy with the election and financial crisis to post here? Who watched this week? The team that lost the challenge was pathetic. They all just sat there in there boats and watched the other team! No wonder they can't win anything.
-
You know, I agree they need Ace but oh boy they better get rid of him before the merger. I do enjoy seeing all the animals in their natural surroundings. I swear when the gorilla yawned I started yawning and couldn't stop and that baby elephant with its momma. Can't wait until thursday to see what happens. Could not believe that kid beat the professor in that puzzle game.
-
Oh yeah, Ace has to go before the merger, I agree. He's nasty. I too was surprised by the professor. I thought he would do better, I think he's my favourite.
