Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

I am so glad it has started again. It suprised me how Sandy turned it around, even when she didn't spend her time at the campsite setting up. Carolina must have been a real pain. The tribes seem to be pretty even in abilities - that was close. I prefer it when they are equal, I hate seeing one tribe just dominate and the other tribe destroyed. I don't have a favorite yet, I'm keeping my mind open right now.
-
Sorry all, but Sandy has to go! She is irritating and loud. I think she played the whole reuniting at the camp wrong and don't think it will be long before she goes.
I will admit, I liked the beginning where they did vote the 2 out only to give them a chopper flight to camp. It mixes it up and makes it more interesting.
My family and I have been faithful Survivor watchers even though we know we could never be on the show, we are Canadian. Would like to see them do a cold Survivor up here maybe in the Rocky Mountains, scenery would be spectacular!
Till next Thursday.
Happy Valentine's Day!

I have watched since the first survivor and most have been really good, I always get excited about getting to know the new ones. So far, I still like Sandy, I think because she is the oldest and I feel kind of sorry for her.
-
...love our DVR also! Tonight, finally watched first episode...it will be a fun season! No favorites yet--too early--and good thing--whoever I really want to win, never does!!!! Hoping Sandy can stick around--I always favor the underdog...thought the twist of Sandy and striped top sick girl getting voted out up front, then getting special treatment was interesting!!! I love this show!!!
-
Well! Love this show....
And.... hopefully he will make a good display buttttttttt
Coach.... is or was the girls soccer coach at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo. which is where I graduated from many moons ago! Cool! Go Bearcats!!!! Naturally I have to root for him.
Sandy is alittle irritating but glad she is still there. She kinda grows on you. I bet she does well in this next challenge.
-
Watched it tonight, boy they got down and dirty in that basket ball game in the water. Still just haven't quite figured out who my favs are yet.
-
I'll be watching tonight's episode Saturday night when I get back into town. I swear this is my only tv show addiction!
-
Jaybird, I am with you! Will be watching Friday night probably. Loved the basketball challenge, that was a good one. But I think it was mistake for the 2 that went to exile island to share the info on the idol. We'll see, just think it is too early in the game to be sharing that, might come back to bite them in the arse!

Well, I wasn't totally surprised with the vote of tonight but did wonder if coach was going to get his way. Sorry to say I am very disappointed in him. I expected someone totally different after finding out he was the soccer coach at my university. Southwest Baptist University. Doesn't seem like a proper fit. Anyhow, I'll be glad to see him go.
-
I would have liked to see Jerry stay a little longer, but not sure who I would have liked to see voted off. I thought they might have went after Debbie, after what happened at the challenge.
Brendon, who found the idol, is he the rich one? Also I don't think Taj should have told that her hubby was football player. I wonder if Brendon will tell her where to find her idol?
As for coach, I don't think I like him. Still don't have a favorite, too early yet, but it might be the farm boy. He just seems so genuine. It is also hard to remember everyones name at this point. I hope they don't switch it up too early as that adds to the confusion with me!
Until next week.......

I don't like 'coach' much - he acts like a know-it-all. I thought Jerry would have been a good person to keep despite his stomach issues!
Very interesting about the two-at-a-time to exile island 'twist' this season.
So far I really like this season, no fave for me yet, either. Have to tape it again this week.
-
I agree, Coach is such a know-it-all. Sandy was very annoying but I thought for sure Sydney was going. I haven't picked a favorite yet. I do like the farm guy too.
-
Just watched it tonight and have decided that "T" is my fave. She's strong and smart and not annoying! I can't wait to see if the 'secret alliance' makes it or not!
-
Fun show, I love it.
I thought it was nice, when they did the raid, that they left some food. Although, not everyone agreed, I thought their reason was quite logical. (In case they pulled a switch, and were sent over to the camp, they would have food there).
Funny that Brendon didn't get a chance to explain things to Sierra about their secret alliance. I like Sierra, she seems to be one of those ones trying to fly under the radar.
I can't imagine that alliance making it to the end. Something will happen!

Not a big fan of Coach either (I call him Yanni). Didn't even participate in the strength challenge, but is ready to blame the rest of the tribe when they lost.
My faves are the farm guy (JT?), Taj (love her) and Sierra.
-
I don't like Coach either..quick to put blame on others. I also don't like the tall skinny dude on the same tribe (forgot his name). Haven't picked my fav yet, but I like Taj and Sierra.
-
Don't have a favorite yet. Don't think Coach will last much longer before being voted off--he is too full of himself and the others are starting to see through him. The secret alliance is interesting--but think it will be doomed by the guy with the glasses who is holding Taj's hidden immunity idol--he may be a little snake in the grass. I love Taj's laugh and how laid back she is. Glad Sierra is feeling better now; hope she hangs in for a while longer. Can't wait for the "special" on Wed night this week...
-
I was really surprised Taj just handed over that immunity idol to what's his name (Stephen?) But I bet she could tackle his little skinny ass to get it back if need be. Wonder why she would just hand it over to him?
Junie, thanks for the reminder for the "special" tonight. I had forgot about that!
-
Even though I mentioned it, I'm confused about whether the Wed night special is tonight or next Wednesday--don't see it listed on our cable menu for tonight, but keep seeing ads for it that just say Wed but don't give a date........grrrrr!!!
-
I thought they said it was in 2 weeks. So I would presume it is next Wed. Can't comment on last weeks show, have to look at the website to refresh my chemo brain!
But I don't think that 4 way alliance will make it to the end. Too much can happen between now and then, and the guy that Taj gave the idol to, even said he would do whatever, so he is not to be trusted in that aspect.

It's not on at all tonight. Next week it's on Wednesday and is a "recap" episode. The next new episode won't be until the next week at it's regular time
Pat
-
Gheesh, a re cap already? It hasn't been on long enough!
-
Did anyone watch the re-cap? Any new stuff? It seems like it hasn't been on forever. I'll be out of town again this week but hope to be home in time to watch it this Thursday.
-
I missed the recap too. I like the group of people they have this season. No stand out hands down winner for me yet. Maybe once the tribes merge and its everyone for themselves. Too much buddy buddy right now.
-
And still too many people!
We record all the shows, so I did watch it. Wasn't that big of a deal.
Business or pleasure Jaybird?
On with the game!!!!!!
-
merge coming next week--will get more interesting, especially to see if the alliance holds up! Glad Taj squeeked through tonight. But,. what's up with all the fake immunity idols being played in recent episodes???? Seems like the producers could think up something new to add a twist.
No real favorite yet; coach really grates, but he will probably hang in 'til almost the end...I just wish the show was on every night!!!!
-
It was too bad Sydney had to go - she is one of the folks I think deserves to be there. I would have actually voted for Joe. One consistent they have always had is that they merge at 10. I can't remember a time when they haven't, so even though they showed previews, I knew a merge was coming up.
I like Taj and TJ - I would have been so disappointed in him if he had voted for Taj, I am glad he didn't.
These cross tribe alliances are going to be so interesting - the tribe with only four may really have 6 and the tribe with 6 might really only have three (if Erin & Joe go off on their own and the two in the original cross tribe alliance stick to it).
Can't wait for next week (oh, Coach should definitely go next - what an annoying person!)
-
Anne. I felt the same way. I really didn't know if the TJ and the other guy were going to vote off TAJ.
I like TAJ and she has played the game well.
The skinny guy she brought into the alliance is not to be trusted so
I was happy to see he didn't vote for her and kept his agreement.
I cannot watch "coach" or "tyson" Two egomaniacs and not so nice people.
I hope they go soon.
But then they would be on the jury and that will be disaster. I really like TJ.
What a great human being. Love those farm boys.
It'll be interesting to see if TAJ is successful in keeping the four in alliance together
and perhaps add to it.
I liked what Sydney said after the show.
She was sincere and gracious.
-
I like TAF also, and coach is way to know it all. I still just can't seem to choose a favorite this year though. Other years I know right off the first couple of weeks but this year, just don't know.
-
Oh, I though for sure that Taj was going to get voted off. Why didn't she play the immunity idol - just in case? Can't wait to see what happens now that they're merging!
