Hmmm, maybe it is all over now but the pouting. So I am enjoying the fat lady too. Not sure what Trump's next move will be but he will have something going on so he can continue to rake in funds. He is surely going to need a lot. He, if he is smart, will have to actually buy and pay for good lawyers. None I think likely to do well getting him off. We are talking about soooo many yrs. of system ( tax fraud just to name one ) abuses. He values or devalues property based on when and who he needs money from at any given time. There are bribes.
Well, actually I should say I just finished reading " Bagman " which is Rachel Maddow's new book. It is all about Spiro Agnew and if you read it, it is an easy read and if you substituted Trump's name for Agnew's you would see an incredible similarity in actions. Perfect road-map for what Trump does. I was sort of amazed. As Rachel said -- most people if they let their mind drift back tend to think only of Nixon and Watergate -- but Agnew was forced out because TWO presidential crooks in the highest office of the land was just too intolerable. Fortunately, Agnew went ( resigned ) at just the right time to take himself out of the line of succession so that when Nixon finally resigned we did not have the horror that otherwise would have occurred if Agnew had been a little late in giving up his fight to stay in power.
I highly recommend the book. I bought it the first day it came out. Thank you local Walmart.
It is astounding that Trump really did think the SC would take up his cause since he packed that Court ( with the help of McConnell and other REthugs ) with three judges. I guess when you are so mentally un-sound as Trump it is easy to forget their are REAL laws and no matter who you may seat on a Court, they cannot veer far afield. So, I do think ( mentioned it yesterday too I believe ) that Trump has met his match. I recall at the very beginning of his taking the ofc. ( and he was vey illegitimate in my book ) my wondering how someone like him expected to pull it off. I mean anyone with brain cells could see from the beginning that he was sooo totally wrong. I have always thought that no matter how well you may look as your whiz past the things that would stop anyone else, the law of the land and its averages will catch up. There is a brick wall -- a barrier that cannot be breached. So that is where we appear to be now. I think if you have snuggled up to the SC twice and be told you have to buzz off you can take that to the bank who is answering subpoena's as we speak.

Curbside Pickup for Pardons
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In response to the coronavirus pandemic, the White House is offering curbside pickup for Republican officials and other cronies who have ordered pardons from Donald J. Trump.
The White House made the decision to offer the contactless pardon-pickup option to accommodate the surging number of stooges and lackeys who have been shopping for pardons this holiday season. Republicans looking to pick up their pardons may do so at a drive-through window outside the Oval Office from eight in the morning until nine at night, the White House announced.
Donald J. Trump or Mike Pence will personally dispense the pardons through the window, enabling pardon-seekers to remain safely in their cars.
The White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, urged Trump's toadying enablers to pick up their pardons as early as possible. "Get your pardon first thing in the morning, and you'll still have plenty of time to get to the Supreme Court to try to throw out the election," she said.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In a sign that he is not ready to give up his legal challenge to the 2020 election, Donald J. Trump has ordered the United States Space Force to discover other planets that have courts.
With his legal options on this planet dwindling, Trump is placing all of his hopes on identifying another planet that might have intergalactic jurisdiction over Earth.

On the heels of his Space Force announcement, astronomers expressed deep skepticism that a planet with a functioning legal system could be located before the Electoral College casts its votes on Monday.
But, in a sentiment shared by many Republicans, Senator Kelly Loeffler, of Georgia, said that she "totally supports" Trump's decision to seek justice on another planet. "Let's let the process play out," she said.

I know the choice was posted already, but I just had to post the video of my man making the announcement.

I guess I can understand ! Whatever validates him ( in his mind ) he will play up. I did hear a couple of reporters say there weren't ALL that many people out at the WH. I saw the pictures and it didn't seem over-abundant that way.
