100 Days of Gratitude
Comments

9/4- I am grateful for deep and regular sleep the past few nights (no middle of the night waking up for hours).
Onco- I think it is around a half mile in this pool, but need to check that. They have a chart on the wall there that tells you.
-
9/4: grateful it was cooler when I woke up this morning

Grateful for a fun, relaxing lunch with two of my girlfriends.

grateful for music to sooth the soul while stuck in horrid traffic, yes that was me singing loudly and tapping the steering wheel in my car
-
Grateful for my sweet, wonderful MO and feel blessed to have her in my life.
-
Grateful for my DD who was there to listen and commiserate when I had a meltdown yesterday.
Alexgram, our furbabies are such a comfort to us, aren't they?
Onco, PTS? Hope you're feeling better.
Cheryl, yay to working out with hubby. I have my consultation on Wed. So I'll find out what circuits I should do and such. Looking forward to Zumba yoga and spin class.
-
Grateful to be taking off for a family reunion in a couple hours & grateful that the forecast calls for very nice weather too!
-
Today I'm grateful for (so many things to choose from) this Discussion Board, which is the very definition of support, friendship and knowledge.
Hi Reading. I'm in love with my furbaby.

Onco your day sounds like a total winner to me (I love chocolate and cheese)
Grateful today that I am self employed and could carve out a few hours in the middle of my work day to do something for me.
-
Grateful for a safe drive to my brothers and a very fun family evening
-
9/6- grateful for a healing massage last night and waking up to good energy today. Have a good day everyone!
-
Grateful for what looks to be a peaceful and restful saturday
-
Today I am grateful for my DH helping me in the basement. I'm going through my mom's boxes of stuff, giving away what I think the kids want, giving some to charity and keeping some. It's a big task.
-
Grateful for a couple of great guys from the roofing crew working in our condo complex for moving some heavy chairs for us, one upstairs, one downstairs, and another heavy one relocated to our sun room. They wanted no pay, were delighted to helps us, What unexpected joy we received from their kindness.

I'm grateful for the idyllic weather we're having right now.
-
Onco, as a founding member of the Burlington Liars Club - how could you lie about chocolate and cheese.
-
9/5: grateful my twisted ankle felt a little so I could get out and run a couple errands
9/6: grateful for the reversal of attitude: my biggest challenge (my sweet DS/stepson) has become one of my closest friends and allies
-
2TA, what prompted this reversal of attitude? Did he just not 'get it'?Today I am grateful to be going golfing with a group of friends from work. It's our annual mini tournament - just 16 of us - but it is always a fun day.

I am supremely grateful to have made one good friend in my life and still have her. She's the best, not perfect, but absolutely the best friend ever. What I wonder is what she sees in me.

Dear oncowarrior--where is the Like button for your post?
-
9/7- grateful to have pulled off exercising 6 out of 7 days this week to ramp up for my new exercise program. Tomorrow I begin training with the new personal trainer 3 days a week for six weeks to get fit and loose some weight!
-
How could anyone possibly lie about chocolate and cheese
9/6 grateful for a gift card that I had received so I was able to treat myself to a lovely dinner
9/7 grateful I had an easy run to the Los Angeles airport to pick up a visiting friend, only traffic snag was at the airport itself
-
HBC, then you lucked out if the only traffic was at LAX.
Onco, I agree with HBC, what's the lie with cheese and chocolate?
Red, my DS's birth mom (I'm the step mom) was a really bad mom and basically abandoned him emotionally at birth. He was born 3 months premature, a miracle baby, and she couldn't care for herself no less a very tiny fragile infant. DH's family always treated him like he was incapable of anything, I changed all that. Took DS years to understand how much I loved him and how much I wanted him to be a successful adult. Only moving away, growing up and maturity changed his attitude. Also helps that his wife was raised by grandparents and everything was given to her, no real independence (yes, DS married his birth-mother-type) and how I cared enough to teach him how to be an adult.
9/7: was DS's birthday and grateful he knows I love him and truly accept him as my son. Also, grateful I was indoors in AC for most of the day. The hot humid weather was brutal.
-
2TA - I was going to put I was grateful for a fan blowing on me but I think I did that the other day, it really is unbearable, I wish it would rain even though I paid $50 yesterday to have my car waxed!!!!!!
-
Like so many days lately, I seem to have a grateful that resulted in a not so grateful.
Today, I am grateful for a hot air balloon ride with my DH this morning. Unbelievable how calm the air is up there and how quiet. We went over my work and I took a ton of pictures. This is where it gets unfortunate because I lost my cell phone somewhere along the way, so I only have the pics I took on my camera and no cell phone.
Anyway, have a lovely day ladies.
