Lol Soteria - lovely hairdo! You look happy, that is all that is important.
Nel, you can see those pictures? Soteria said they were for my eyes only. Close your eyes. Teehee.
Ruth, no growing things here yet. I will just have to admire yours.
-
I can see the photos, too. Soteria, curly is so cute! Never had a bad hair bad after a no-hair day (just a "hair has a mind of its own" day).
Ruth, how neat that there is a sign winter is over
I am Sparkle Peep

Candy Snuggle Bunny here.
-
Candy Carrot Cake here, two of my favourite things
Soteria what a sweet GD and your curls look very cute, Maddy he's huge but really it's the little ones that are more trouble.
Today I am grateful that I stopped by my hairdressers on the off chance that I could get an appointment and she was between customers and was able to fit me in, no appointment necessary, yeah....

Hey!
-
Day 109: grateful that one year ago I had my exchange surgery. So glad to have that behind me.
-
4/20- grateful for the season of spring and for Easter, and the gentle rain that fell yesterday.
-
April 20th
Grateful to attend my granddaughters 4th birthday party yesterday afternoon, then her mom's 30th last night. Today Easter dinner at my house - 4 generations will be there. Must remember to take pictures.
-
Grateful for a sunny day and spending the day with friends
Happy Easter to all
-
Day 110: grateful for a BCO sister (Chevyboy) who shared your instructions to make curly scarves. Thankful I managed to hide the one I was making for DD for Easter - when she sat down to watch TV with me briefly last night.
-
Grateful for a really nice Easter day.
-
I am grateful for this beautiful day the Loord has made!
-
I am grateful for this beautiful day the Lord has made.
-
I am grateful for a wonderful day spent with friends and family and for the true meaning of Easter. Hope you've all had a wonderful Easter too.
-
Day 11......I'm grateful for the empty tomb, and everything that represents.

April 21
I am grateful for a wonderful day spent with family and friends. But I forgot to take pictures. We were 4 generations at the dinner table last night - and for the first time, we had an adult and a kiddy table. 18 was just too many for one.
-
Day 111: grateful the Easter Bunny didn't bring me candy, especially dark chocolate. Not even 7am here and already crying so thankful we have soft tissues and lots of them. DD in a bad mood, throwing around Tupperware and lids, slamming cupboard doors and drawers, and yelling at me (after I made her lunch, found and washed out a cooler for her). Glad I don't have chocolate to turn to right now. Grateful I have choices and will make it a good day, despite a very rough start.
DH reminded me I have a gift certificate for a local hot springs/outdoor spa. Too bad there isn't a local BCO friend to go with me (I don't like going alone).
-
2nd time around, I'm so sorry your day started off that way. DD must be a teenager/young adult child. I say that because I have 2 children that age and know exactly how you feel. I told my husband God must give us these years, when they bite, to help us be able to separate from them a bit since when your holding those sweet little babies when they're young you could never imagine them growing up and moving out one day.
Today I'm grateful for a quiet day alone after a busy one yesterday.
-
Grateful for a beautiful day, sunny warm and my kids are happy!!! They had a good Easter with their Dad!
2nd time around and Susie my dd is 15 almost 16 - god save us and help us thru these years Keep laughing and breathing
-
I think they are horrible so that you do not feel bad when they go out on their own....more like, "Let me help you pack & remind me to change the locks once you walk out the door!" Really, I am pretty sure that's how my parents felt about me too!
But, I am grateful that with some time & maturity, most kids do come around to an appreciation of their parents (and parents of their kids). I really, really like DS now (he's in his mid-20s), and he likes us too.
-
-
Nel I told all my daughters that if they lived to see 16 it would be a miracle and I might let them continue living.
Susie good thinking. Prep for moving out! Lol
Ruth, no, not you! Were you a naughty teen?
Maddy, your girl is older isn't she? Just got into college and with a scholarship.? Maybe you should stay in bed a little longer and let her get herself sorted out in the morning. If she doesn't have a whipping boy, maybe she'll just go to work/school.
-
My oldest is in college too, the youngest graduated high school last May and is still trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life. I honestly think this is a rough time in their life when trying to be an adult and find their place in the world when they were kids just yesterday..amongst all that we are a safe target to vent their frustrations because no matter how their world is changing they know moma is always going to love them. I watched a Tyler Perry Madea movie last night, very funny, but they said something that is very true. Your 40's and 50's are harder times because your kids are going through the crazies and your parents are reaching the age they are falling apart. That has been very true in my life. All we can do is be there for them.
-
Here you go, moms!
-
Good point Susie. And often they are lashing out from fear too. What if I don't make it out there? What if I fail college? Will people like me? It is hard.
Cute pic Ruth.
-
Sorry your day started crappily Maddy, I wish I didn't have to work I'd have been at Glen Ivy with you, it's my absolute favourite place to spend a day.
Today I'm grateful to have spent an hour with a great trainer, he's back at my gym as a special guest trainer and I'm sooooooo happy about it.
-
2nd time- I love hot springs and spas and wish I were there to go with you!
