Grateful not to be living in buffalo! Snow is coming to New England soon! Grateful to be planning a tip to Costa Rica with my kids for April. Fingers crossed that I am still well!
-
grateful for a fun potluck dinner with some people from our church
-
11/24- grateful my sister and crew arrived safely from their road trip here from the West Coast. We had a nice dinner together tonight and have more fun plan tomorrow and the rest of the week!
Note that two years ago at this time, I was recovering from bc surgery and my sister was heading into hers. Much to be grateful for.

Wonderful!

11/24: grateful for my local supermarket. Wanted a small fresh turkey, just 5 of us for Thanksgiving dinner on Friday, most of us are light eaters. Found a 10 lb turkey without much searching. Wanted a small prime rib for just DH on Thursday, they cut one small one especially for us.
Mommy, congrats on the new furbaby! She sounds adorable and will enjoy being spoiled. Princess is a cute name.
-
Have missed a few days due to ipad problems on BCO, seems to be fixed tonight, for that I am extremely grateful.
Jazzy a doubly wonderful reason to celebrate.
Mommy congrats on your new fur baby, she is adorable.
-
Thanks. She gives me lots to laugh at.
-
Today I am grateful for my DH who put up the Christmas tree for me yesterday!
-
Tell me about it Nel. Supposed to see anywhere from 6-10 inches of the stuff!

I am grateful to be sitting here safe and sound and in one piece!!!! I went to a meeting tonight & when I came out a couple hours later; 6 inches of wet, heavy snow had fallen. The streets were a mess and my car got stuck on an icy patch 3/4 the way up the hill I have to drive up to get home. After spinning the wheels for awhile, I finally had to call DH who arrived with a shovel and better driving skills than me. ARGH!!!!!!
-
Glad you're safe Ruth!
11/25: Just who is that female young adult up in DD's room? I certainly don't recognize her but am grateful for being so sweet. This is the 3rd time this month she's spent time with me/us (visit per her request to see my parents, here last Wednesday evening for a couple hours, just got her a little bit ago after work, spending the night!) Needs to leave early to work at the hospital. She's probably here because she's bringing her new BF to meet us on Friday (going to BF's extended family's Thanksgiving Thursday, with us on Friday) and her room looks like a bomb went off in there. Oh my, my! So not like last year or the year before.
-
Glad you made it home safe Ruth. LOL Maddy.
I am grateful for a young Australian girl who has moved to the area, she posted on FB when she found some Australian cookies at World Market, I commented I liked them but I prefer another kind, her Dad came to the US for work and tonight I got to meet him, bless her heart she asked her Dad to bring me the cookies, I am in cookie heaven
-

Ruth. Glad you are home safe
Grateful this am. That it looks like I will get in and out of Dana farber before the snow hits. Being here is one thing driving in and out in a storm. Just so annoying!!!
-
Thanks for the kind words about Princess, makes the ache in my heart that has been there since my beloved furbaby Charcoal's passing a bit easier.
Wish I could say that Nel about my hubby getting home well before the storm gets worse. He's supposed to be told that he can go at half past 12, kind of wish that his job would have closed early this morning like say before he left for work!
-
Grateful that a friend with a big high-profile vehicle picked me up this morning so that I didn't have to (try to) drive!
-
Grateful hubby made it home okay today.
