100 Days of Gratitude

awwwwwwwwww, that is awesome Cheryl! Sounds like she's warming up to you!
-
grateful - that I received 2 cards of encouragement this week. One from a childhood friend I had not talked to since high school (wow 26 years ago). My sister had given her my address. Sweet. One from a fellow bco member. Sweet indeed. Everyone loves to get a card in the mail instead of a bill , right ladies ?
-
Cheryl, that is progress! Only took 10 years for DD's cat to become friendly (she was never the brightest cat).
Hey Patty, good to see you here! Hoping the cards made you realize how special you are
Grateful that yesterday DD drove 25 miles just to see me and dad. No other other apparent reason to be here. And since I was at the job fair for several hours, didn't plan dinner, just leftovers, and she was content with that. Grateful she received 4 free tickets to Disneyland (evening special) so she's going with her BF and some friends, so happy she's getting some fun time (between going to school full time, working 30+ hours a week and doing a nursing pre-internship at a hospital, she's always busy). And best of all, she's bringing her BF next week for Thanksgiving so we get to meet him. My heart is happy

Hi Patty, welcome.
Maddy, nice news about your DD. Things seems so much better now, don't they?
Cheryl, it's wonderful to see a little feral kitty become a family member, isn't it? My little one lived in the shed for the first month with us. Now she winds around your feet and purrs.
Today I am grateful that our new payroll system implementation is almost over. Still 3 more weeks of long hours to come, but it's coming together.
-
Whew, grateful to have 'passed' my annual general physical!

11/20- grateful to be finishing my current gig the Friday before Xmas. My client said I have helped them to stabilize what they needed help with on their projects. New opportunities on the horizon now too.
Ruth- contracts on the good physical results!
Onco- glad you are taking care of yourself. I can still get hard with fatigue sometimes too.
-
Good Morning allGrateful for Friday after a crazy busy week. Grateful for what I hope will by our last mediation session for the divorce and that we can finally move this forward. And grateful to be here and well for my son's 21st birthday today. Where have those 21 years gone and where was I?? And grateful beyond words to his birth mom who made what I can only imagine was the most difficult decision of her life 21 years ago.
Be well
Nel

11/21- grateful I made it through a super hard week, but think I survived!
-
Patty
Grateful it's so easy to text friends. Had to get some paperwork together so I'm grateful I got the urge to do some major organizing and de-cluttering to find the necessary papers.
-
grateful I survived subbing in the 8th grade today....that age is rather rascally!

Grateful for the world of information on the internet. I have learned that chocolate and nuts should be avoided if you have shingles. Since I have had them three times this fall and cannot get rid of them despite taking the anti-viral drugs, I have dropped these two foods. I have had no new eruptions for several days now. Sure do miss my three squares of dark chocolate, but no food is worth suffering from shingles.

11/22- grateful to finally have all my leaves gathered and in the dumpster. Fall yard work feels finished!
-
Grateful for a little break in the weather today....sunny, no wind, and in the 40s.

11/23- grateful my sister and crew made it safely to Flagstaff today. We have brutally high winds out here right now (unusual for this time of the year) that make for a biting cold. They finish their trek here tomorrow!
-
11/22: grateful there were enough leftovers in the house that I didn't have to cook today
11/23: grateful that last night DH said he was going to do the dishes this morning and he actually followed thru this time and even cleaned the kitchen while I was outside in the garage cleaning out the extra fridge
-
Grateful for a new kitten to love and spoil rotten
-
Mommy- yay for the new kitten!
-
Mommy, what is the color/sex/name etc. etc. of your new kitten? Details, please!!!
Yesterday, grateful that a friend dropped by and interrupted my house cleaning....we solved most of the world's problems over a glass of wine!
-
The kitten is a girl so we call her Princess, she's all black domestic short hair with green eyes. Will be 10 weeks old on Saturday.
-
grateful that ds's and dh are off school: work this week. Liking forward to make good lasting memories not sleeping memories.
-
Yay mommy. A new family member. She sounds sweet. Where are the pics.
Onco, Woohoo for getting to know your body, and it's limitations better.
Ruth, thanks for solving the world's problems. Appreciate it.
Honey, I like cyber-shopping this Christmas season. Hooray for the net, boo to shingles that restrict chocolate intake.
Patty, hope you make wonderful memories.
22 Nov Extremely grateful to my new arthritis doc, who gave me excruciating pain on Thursday followed by the ability to walk normally today. That was a darned big needle he shoved in my knee!
23 Nov see above plus grateful for a road trip with my DH to the other side of Toronto to pick up all the items I have been bidding on this month.
24 Nov see above above. (I have a feeling I am going to be eternally grateful to that man.) Grateful for the ability to help my DIL. Her Gma passed away and we provided the flight tickets for her to attend the funeral tomorrow.
-
Made my new avatar my new baby Princess.
