Enjoy reading here . . . LOLLOLLOL!!!!
You go, Mcook! I will be cheering you on in my absence, and you have my full support. Just don't know if the USA and Iowa will know what has hit them when these Canadian girls arrive - Scottiee, you'll have to put tackle on them, and rein them in like horses . . . LOL. Okay, I'm just plain jealous. Will wait for NY.
-
Mcook...walk, run, crawl ...WTH cares....do what your body tells you to do.
Yes, Juneau....the Canucks are coming.....look out Iowa and Chicago...๐
Liefie....OMG....how am I going to do this....I'm in training already.....may have to purchase leashes and give them a crash course at "obedience school"...๐ฑ
Tazzy....don't tell Liefie....just faking here ๐....didn't actually tell her what I'm in training for...๐ -
Scottiee, obedience training is a good idea. Just remember it goes hand in hand with rewards for good behaviour . . . in this case, the liquid kind would be well received . . . classes won't be long -ย lol.
-
Oops, Liefie....forgot about the rewards....kale smoothies then for good behaviour....๐๐ท
-
Scottiee, good luck to you if you think they will be happy with kale smoothies . . . You may have a mutiny on your hands - lol.
-
We will be fine ... Spending too much checking the sites in Chicago to drink TOO much ... I am sure we will have good intentions however ..
-
Does putting vodka in kale smoothies work ?
-
No especially if it is organic vodka
-
Jo, why are you winding me up.....Tazzy, yes, organic vodka will work....๐
-
Organic vodka - now that's what I call a kale smoothie!
-
Liefie.....did I mention organic kale as well...๐
-
Mcook, it is amazing that you are going to do 21 miles of anything after having had cancer. No matter the speed, it is an impressive distance.
-
Scottiee, as long as it's organic, eh? Lol.
-
Liefie....now you're catching on.....๐น
-
Lmfao.... I was thinking tequila for the kale smoothie!!!
See, mcook, we all love you!! I'm thinking those of us meeting up with you, we could crawl the last mile or two... Pub crawl that is ;-) -
So as long as its organic eh?ย ย I will bring organic wine too.
I agree with Shianne mcook... the fact you are attempting this is amazing... and yes, we can crawl the last couple of miles - maybeย we could do a pub crawl relay.
-
Count me in on the pub crawl but I still think I will pass on the on the Kale smoothie regardless of what you add to it.
-
if they add enough tequila and chocolate then I am game to try ... lol
-
Hey All,ย
How many are meeting? We're trying to figure out just how many of our members get together at these get-togethersย
. Thanks for letting us know!!! Sounds like a good time together!!!
Melissa and the Mods -
Right now I think the count is 9 but could be 10 ...
We are getting excited! -
Yes we are
-
Very, excited!!! Can't wait to hug my breast sisters!!!
-
Shianne.....not too hard, ok...ha ha ha
-
Gentle hugs lol!!!

I got a PM from someone on the Illinois thread that suggested that some of the Chicago ladies would like to meet up with us Canadians in Chicago .. So I have posted on their thread and there are 3 that might be interested in meeting up for dinner with us (Scottiee, Tazzy, shianne and me) ... Boy,this is going to be the adventure.
-
That is just so cool - oh! my what an adventure indeed.
-
Wow!! That is an adventure!!! Lol dinner and tropical drinks?
-
Wow!!!!! I'm so ready for this!!!!! BUT ....is Chicago ready for us...โค๐๐น๐
-
LOL Tazzy I love that! So did I miss where you all are staying at in chi town? Lots of Greek food and nasty fatty yummy food every where so bring the blender for those smoothies to detox! And of course vodka works in them duh! I am one of those crazy girls who juice at times but not as religious as I was during chemo as it is difficult to find time but I do seem to not get all my veggies unless I juice then I don't feel so bad about my evening meal being wine:) balance is my motto
So has someone made a little sheet with all the information? Might be a good thing when it gets close to pm everyone with contact numbers and itineries:) my memory seriously sucks anymore (maybe always has)
Yep I can guareentee that I will be walking/crawling some of that run! I have a couple of friends that said they would take some of the miles for me if needed so feeling a little better about that. I was getting pretty stressed out about it and then told myself what is the worst that could happen? I have to ask someone to help me? That is what life is about any why, right being able to support and love each other:)
Man or man I need to go shopping and find a bathing suit unless you all want to see me supporting a thong because my ones now would never cover my new sexy,"junk in my truck ass"it would be look like a thong!
Love and hugs to all!
