It sure looks like a hot tub to me .... -
And if any one is still around saturday I would still host a pool party then too. I have lost track of everyones coming and going dates so you can decide when it gets closer. It will be here before we know it.
-
Aimee, I'll definitely be around still on Saturday. I'm wondering if I should come in Wed. night instead of Thursday. When is mcook arriving?
-
Swgee,Her post on the previous page said she is running from 1pm to 6 on thursday not sure when she is actually coming in. Glad you are staying saturday
-
Pool Party! Bunch of fabulous women and hot tub! All I need!
-
We have the room until the Sunday (Scottiee, shianne and Tazzy) but not sure year when we are, heading home. It will depend on Tazzy's travel arrangements.
-
Pool party!!! Hot tub, meeting all you ladies in person and wine!!! Sounds like a successful trip.
-
Happy Cinco de Mayo travelers! Hope someone out there is enoying the day. I am at work bored out of my mind. Dont normally work onSunday but we have an implementation at one of the hospitals so I am sitting waiting for issues to come in but my team doesnt usually start getting too many issues for a couple days after. Hence the bordom. Maybe I will start my list of fun stuff to bring to iowa city.
-
My list is started .... Acrylic wine glasses ...

Hi ladies
I booked a room today just incase some others last minutes decided to join. Would it be ok if my friend Valerie joins us? She is running with me and a huge care taker for me when I was doing chemo! She is laid back and also has been touched by cancer as her step dad went through treatments a year before myself. She also is a trainer for team in training which support lymphoma and understand the challenges we all face. She would just stay Thursday night with us and is humble as a person can be. She is also dealing with some issues with her husband and him being bipolar so she has more strength and compassion than I can explain her. I want invite her if anyone is uncomfortable with it but I promise she will fit right in. -
Mcook please invite her .... If she can put up with us ....
-
Sounds fine to me. Anyone willing to run a marathon with a friend for the heck of it cant be all bad.
-
Would love to meet her!!! She sounds pretty awesome. :-)
-
The more, the merrier, I say!!
-
The more wine the merr...oops, the more the merrier....
-
Ditto from me..🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹

Hi girls.... quick check in after my fantabulous wine fest weekend with my gf's. OK I am looking for flights to Hamilton for the 14th? Would that work?
Hope you are all well... missed you and will catch up later - likely from work as its hard to sit on the computer with the Outlaws here
-
Tazzy, I think that works. I'm picking Scottie up in Toronto on the 14 and making our way to Hamilton. Joanne said we could stay there and get an early start on the 15.
It's going to be here before we know it!!!! -
Tazzy that works ... Pj party in Hamilton first ...
-
I think I am not going to make this trip. My therapist advised me, and I agree, that I should be planning vacation time with my husband. He has been so good to and for me. So I am going to save the money and vacation time for a different trip. I will be thinking about all of you and cheeringfor mcook from afar!
-
Stride going to miss you but totally understand.
-
Hello ladies man time is flying by! I am so excited! My marathon might be some walking as my body is a hot mess and mileage is hard to gain lately but oh well. I was putting so much pressure on myself but I am not just running and then walking the rest of my miles or doing every other miles or so hopefully my legs continues to gain some strength but it has to be the chemo that caused this because typically I can just pick up running even after a period off and feel a heck of a lot better than this.
Thanks for the offer for my friend to come with! She is pretty awesome! -
Stride, I echo Joanne. Family first. Always!! There will always be other trips... Like NYC!!!
Mcook, time is flying by... Too quickly lol but not quick enough.
I'm simply amazed that you are doing as much as you are!! Michelle you ROCK!! Serious, I could not even imagine training for a marathon... Hell I can't do more then 5 miles on my elliptical without thinking my legs will fall off lmao. As my RO told me today, we have to listen to our bodies. Do what it tells us we can and cannot do. Running or walking, we are there with you and so very, very proud of you!!!
Joanne you family is going to be happy to see us leave after that pyjama party!!! Lol -
Now you gals have to pace yourselves, dont want you all partied out before you get to Iowa!
-
Shianne, I live alone ... lol .... We have the run of the house ...
-
mcook... I agree - dont matter how much you walk - you rock for doing it. Plus it got all of us together - WOO HOO !!
Stride - there will be other trips
OK gonna start looking for flights. Wont be posting as much as Outlaws here - FOR A MONTH !! Good thing I like 'em.
-
Joanne, ok we're safe then lol. 4crazy girls at various stages of recovery could make for some fun lol
-
Shianne, Joanne, scottie - is the world ready for us altogether - guess tough if not cos here we come!
-
Oh shit! Look at.... Canada is coming to Iowa!!!! ;-). Try not to be too hungover when you finally meet up with the US contingency!
