Already been there twice since my surgery last year, but it would be nice to see 1 person in the land of mountains that didn't have twin peaks! Just joking, cause everybody makes their own decisions. Beatmon, I haven't travelled with this particular group, but I've gone away with women from the chat room four different times and I can honestly say that our physical appearance was way down on the list of things we cared about. I'm hoping this group is similar. I look forward to meeting you!

Marlegal - yes, this group is similiar.  My first year I showed up with 1/2" of gray hair on a body that was 40 lbs overweight.  Nobody cared - everyone was super nice.  

I didn't actually know the 1st year if I could go because this get together started from a thread on breast reconstruction and so I sent Tracey a PM asking her if I could come if I only had a lumpectomy.  Seriously I didn't know if I would be invited and of course not only did Tracey welcome me with open arms - she shared her hotel room with me.

We are down to earth - simple people.  I asked my cousin's wife and her BFF to join us this year and they are about as hayseed as you can get.

Beatmon & Marlegal...double what Jancie said!!  We accept eveyone for who they are & not what is on the outside!!  Myself along with another sista -no recon!! My reason was due to MRSA for making the decision of no Recon, since then things have changed abit, but not sure if I wnat to go thru more surgeries at this time...goal is to make it a year with out any surgeries!! I've got a AWESOME t-shirt that has pink constuction funnels on it & reads... "TATA'S UNDER CONSTRUCTION"  Were all about enjoying LIFE & SISTERHOOD together sharing stories that each has been thru & understands, the support & love we all have, be it one's that started with the group or newbies joining -WERE STILL HERE TO CHEER & CELEBRATE!!

By the way as the oficial countdown gal.... 94 days away till VEGAS!!!

I have little doubt from reading all these posts that this group is my kind of people, that's what cinched my decision to go, and to then change my return flight from Sunday to Monday! Just can't wait

I thought I would hop in the site just to catch up and say hello.. I have been on the fb site eay more becsause its just easier for me.. I am trying to get it together to make it to Vegas again this year.. As time draws closer I am getting more excited and really don't want to miss our 5 year reunion.. I realized earlier tonight that it's LESS THAN 3 months now!!! That's a blink of the eye! Hub doesn't enjoy travel. We have a trailer at a campground at the Jersey shore, and it's really wonderful, but that is the sum total of how far he wants to travel. Thank God he has no problem with me travelling cause he knows I have major wanderlust. I love eveything about travel, except the plane ride after an hour. That I could do without but I'm willing to endure for the end prize!

Finally catching up here on a sleepless night in Seattle (well, just delayed sleep due to the 90 degree day here, etc. that we're not used to.) What is it, 80 something days now till Vegas? I'm so looking forward to it and being with you all! I come in on Thursday and leave Tuesday. Viva Las Vegas by the Pool on the extra days, Baby! :-)

Never too late.  I joined last year and was so pleasantly surprised by the variety of ladies I met.  Jancie instantly became my party buddy (love you girl) and I am sooo looking forward to my second year. Stephanie trusted me, a total stranger, to pick her up from the airport and we connected.  Everyone connects in one way or another.  With so many wonderful ladies, you will connect with someone.  Who can NOT have a good time in Vegas, baby!

WOW, this is going to be a GREAT YEAR!!!  Who is working on the intinerary?   Shows?  Group meals?  Meet and greet?
