It is good to be loved and wanted! Thank you hermits!

This afternoon the orange beauty thunbergia vine took a beating in a hail storm!
This morning I heard on TV that the North Country is in for an early Winter come September!
I'll still be looking for a nice Fall.
-
Teka- oh no, not hail. Your roof okay? I hope you don't have an early winter either. We love the fall, don't we?
Off to yoga ladies after having a quiet day today, which felt very good. Have a good evening!
-
Teka we need fall, this is not good.
Mags I have no excitement either just go from day to day. LOL
-
Hey Cami ... what do you mean "no excitement?" Didn't you say you have an overnight party this week end?
-
Oh but the reason it's overnite is because everyone drinks and doesn't drive hahahaha, otherwise, I'd come home believe me. But then again I know I should be happy, cuz Joey has a good time so it's all worth it for me. And then I think the parties are over for a couple of weeks.
-
Cami- you party girl. This one is for you. I know you are just Cyndi in this video.
-
Jazzy one thing I do do is chalk my hair matching my outfit and nails, hahaha

Good morning- getting my coffee going on too this morning.

Good Evening!!
Ready for the weekend?
My legs are lame from climbing up and down in a chair while painting a kitchen wall.
I need to take it easy this weekend while packing for a mini-vacation to Maine and Nova Scotia for 5 days next week.
I'll miss the recliner!
-
-
Teka, have a wonderful trip. Nova Scotia has always interested me although I never traveled that far north.
-
Teka, where in Maine? I lived there when I was married to DH #1. A couple of lifetimes ago.
-
Teka- vaca to Maine and Nova Scotia. How nice! I love Maine, spent a lot of time there as a kid and lived and worked in Ogunquit one summer. Only went to NS once with a church group when I was 16. You will be there just in time for the blueberry harvest.
Glad you are getting away, the recliner will be there when you get back! Rest up those sore legs.
-
Teka how exciting for your to be exploring the world, I am jealous but too cold for me.
Happy Weekend everybody, plans,
Me no plans...

I fell asleep at 7pm and woke up a little bit ago, I was trying so hard to stay awake, but couldn't.
I have no idea what time Joey and I are being picked up for this big stupid party, but he has fun with the kids so he likes when I go cuz when he gets tired he wants me there, cuz there are to many people.
-

-

-
Good morning hermits- Jazzy is on her way to go play some jazz with her music friends at the sat am jam session. I missed it last week, but bound and determined to this week.
I got all my bids in for the flooring project yesterday, and went down to order the new flooring products for the install at the end of the month. Between now and then, going to work to get some stuff out of this house and neighbor, and I may do a joint yard sale in the next couple weeks. My flooring guy says replacing your floors is like moving, it forces you to lighten your load.
Teka- good luck getting everything together to be ready to go on Monday. I know you will have a great time!
Cami-have fun at the party you party girl.
Blondie- I hope you are doing okay, sounds like it, and getting some nice relaxation.
Sally- anything going on for you this weekend?
Where are Lili and Ducky too?
-
Hi all...
Cami have fun tonight.
Teka, I would probably be getting a lobster roll on my way to Nova Scotia and on my way back. Enjoy ... food and scenery and time with DH.
Blondie and Mags, hope the weekend goes smoothly with some fun ... for everyone!
I am attacking the wisteria ... it will take a session today and a session tomorrow ... I am tired of it grabbing me when I walk near the arch.
Jazzy, will the new flooring require a lot of maintenance? I love the look of wood floors. I hope you had fun playing with the jazz group this morning.
-
Sally- no, the hardwood floors don't require much maintenance, and got a higher end wood with good scuff and other resistance. He told me yesterday the main thing to be sure of is to not use certain types of products on it as it will cause the oxide protective coating to flake. My only concern there is with a cleaning company I have that comes in 1-2X a month (I use the more when I am working as I tend to be very busy when I am on contract and no time to do a better cleaning).
I am going to call the cleaning company to let them know and going to let them know in advance about the change coming to the house later in August. A dust mop is really the only thing I want them doing with the hardwood. I am always here at the house too when the clean and will monitor them around the flooring to make sure they don't do anything I don't want them to do. My flooring guy said that he has customers who have cleaning people in while they are at work and later realize those people are wrecking their floors. I am so glad we talked about that yesterday!
I love wisteria. Sounds like yours has gone wild. Any photos of it?

Onco- I was starting my home improvement projects 2 years ago the summer it all went down. It all got put on hold for two years. I was just thinking about it today, which is why I feel so good it is getting done this summer. So don't worry, you will get to it when the time is right. While you are healing, you will have time to think about what you want to do with that painting project.
Big t-storm with pounding rain and bit of soft hail going on this afternoon. Monsoons are back.
-
I now have a spiffy kitchen wall and a new kitchen door!
See the shadows on the white wall.
The water lilies are starting to bloom in the tiny frog pond.
