Lily Have a wonderful time and thanks for letting us know Be well
Sally that was my friend not Chevy--she doesn't have any friends. LOL
Jazzy cute pic. What did the MO say?
-
Oh Damn I forgot I talked about Chevy and she doesn't post here, damn I like her to see when I talk about her.
-
-
Cami- MO said I am doing just fine. Will see him again later in the year. We will check on my bones before my next visit with a bone density test.
Retail update-got a note on e-mail that Coldwater Creek is closing, filing bankrupcy. They are going to be liquidating their stores and on line merchandise through the summer. I was in there last a few months ago. They seem like they have been struggling for awhile. Thought you would want to know if you are a fan.
-
Lilly, I hope your Easter trip is wonderful. Where are you going?
-
Jazzy, thanks for the heads up on Cold Water Creek. I will miss wandering in their store and lurking on their web pages.
-
To the UK so unlikely to be sunny and warm!!!!!
-
Cami, I knew it was your friend and yet I typed Chevy ... and I did not even notice my mistake ... yikes ... brain freeze ... part of the new me ... no, part of the mature me.

Hi my dear friends, Jazzy--Glad your appointment went well. All went well with my BS appointment, too. Finally, I sort of got a second opinion on my crooked foob/boob job, My BS didn't want to say anything bad about the PS but he did seem concern and he is referring me to another PS at the Sitemen Cancer Center in St. Louis. However, when I called for my records to be sent to the new PS, the old PS refused and told me they would not release them unless the doctor asked for the records. Sitemen Cancer Center nurse told me that is illegal. that I should have been able to get my records myself. Well they are getting them for me now so I won't make a fuss. I wouldn't want someone looking at my screwed up work either.. I almost feel guilty going to another PS.
Ducky--so glad to hear about Grayson's Upsee coming soon. Children are so precious. Please send us some pictures!
Camillegal--I am not forgetting about my killer sister. . I remind her from time to time. LOL, Well she has said she was sorry-- and then she asked for the remaining product so she could sell it to someone else. . That crap cost me about $50 bucks. I gave it to her and told her I should have sued her but I know she doesn't have any money. So we laugh together about it now.
Teka--thanks for the hugs!
Blondie46, I hope you are feeling better and able to breathe easier.
Onocowarrior, I bought a fitbit yesterday--going to try to get more exercise like walking in. Now the hardiest part comes--doing the exercises. Thank for you ideas.
All you hermits--have a great night!
-
Jazzy I love that one.
Dwill u sound better--It's thinking about u'r sister and that's how sisters should be---I love it.
I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend-so far the weather is good so that's a start.
-
Hi hermits- I had a good day working on the yard and cleaned off my patio of all the dust, leaves, cobwebs and the like. I put some of the houseplants out, but a cold snap is coming Monday so I will wait to put out the rest next weekend after that is gone. The planters out front have pansies in them and look nice.
Our frost date in April is around the 23rd, usually the last chance for it to get down to freezing or below. It has been in the 70s, and going to the 50s on Monday and then back up to the 70s. I am ready for it to be shorts and flip flop season.
Hope everyone else is enjoying the unfolding of spring.
-
80 here tomorrow in the Philly suburbs...........Whoa................yea...........
-
*Hermits*
-
Teka, great "morning kitty" pic.
-
Good morning hermits- 80 degrees on the east coast, whoot whoot!
It is going to be in the mid 70s here again today. Going to take my bike in for a tune up today and going to get back on the bike trail next weekend. I have not ridden my bike since right before diagnosis. Another step in returning to normalcy.
Hope everyone has a nice springy day!
-

Good morning hermies.
Jazzy good for u, I'm so glad u'r getting ready and u want to get ready for riding. I'm looking for swimming.
Great party last night but didn't stay up for the whole thing--it ended up with about 70 peeps so it expanded, mor of his friends came. I didn't know many people but they had a good time. So I was glad for Marty. He's really a great guy and u could see how everyone feels about him. Weather was great sitting outside all the time and tonite it will be in the 30's with possible snow tomorrow, so it's not over yet.
OK I'll be back right.
-
Good morning!
-
Dutch........good afternoon here.............
-
Lol...I'm so tired. I was up at 5:30am. I decided to go back to bed anout 10 and slept until just after noon. I'm still tired.
-
camillegal,
I thought you had mentioned an upcoming Saturday party and were even able to party out of doors!
Nice to have a break in the weather.
-
Hi ladies- biking is the last sport I am returning to after all that has gone on. I did not feel healed enough between the abdominal surgery and breast surgery in 2012 to want to even try biking until I felt better/stronger. I knew eventually my desire to return to biking would come back and so it has here in 2014. I have been swimming, doing yoga, walking and doing weights for a good year now. Biking here is really great spring, summer and fall and I have missed it, so I am grateful to feel good enough to return to that. My biking buddy going with me next Saturday.
Cami- I went swimming at the gym last night and plan to go again later today. Water is soothing to the body and great exercise. Maybe a YMCA near you has a good pool? Glad to hear the party was fun, and you got to sit outdoors (love me some patio time).
Teka- glad to hear spring temps are working in to your area. It is in the 70's here today, going to get a snap of cold again tomorrow.
Dutch- sorry you are so tired. The fatigue can stay with you way longer than you expect. Feel better soon.
Hope everyone else has a good spring day/palm Sunday. What is everybody doing for Easter?
-
Easter at home!!!
-
Jazzy you are too funny, re bike...glad that the drs. visit went well...Dw....you also are funny....
Teka...Hugs
Dutch...I am always tired it doesn't matter how much rest I get...
Cammie....are you being good???
Back from the shore and I didn't go to the beach appparently was exhaused while there slept til 11 one day and noon another, didn't get out of pjs just got a shower and put on the pjs again....they had a bd party for me cause they couldn't come to mine in august...it was wonderful....can't wait to go back again and go to the beach....the oxygen keeps me from everything....drs. appt on wednesday, not sure what they are going to do, no fluid in my lungs, but still having a hard time breathing, is it the chemo...who knows....don't know if they know...so frustrating....could be the tumor on the chest wall of the one in the lung...whatever...
happy sunday
Sandy

blondie,
Wonderful, enjoyed trip to the shore!
*Blessing* if Doctors can ease Your dependency on oxygen.
*Hugs*
-
Blondie- glad you some nice shore time, and a birthday party to boot. Sleeping in sounds like it was just what you needed.
Like Teka says, hopefully they can help you to have better quality of life with better breathing and less O2 dependency. Thinking of you tonight.
Cold wind came in tonight, feels like winter again. Hopefully will be gone after tomorrow, and spring returns.
Wishing everyone a good week.
-
Oh Blondie it always good to here when u really had a good time. U deserve to be pampered and have a celebration with u'r Birthday. And damn I pray those Drs. can help u. And yes I'm being so good I'm not even liking myself tonite.
Jazzy our weather is going bonkers tonite too, is getting colder and raining all over the place--can't just have it in one little area on the block.
