Jazzy thank you, so pretty.........Here is one for you......hugs.....

Thank you Jazzy, lovely. I am still struggling to get well again after yet another cold-flu type virus, I realised I have not had one complete week free of feeling ill since early December! I am tired of feeling tired and worn down and coughing and feeling unable to breathe etc etc.........it shocked me when I realised how long its been - not been able to do my exercise or anything as just getting to work takes all my energy.......trying to tell myself I am detoxing and getting rid of lots of gunk as its never ending.....
-
Oh Lily going to work always zaps everyone most of the time, but when all this chit happens it does take longer than u think, if u catch a cold-flu it never seems to leave--u'r immune system has been compromised and Yucky is how u feel, whenever u can u needs to rest and does u''r Dr. know all these colds and flu things u'r getting--maybe u went back to work to soon. Feeling awful everyday sucks and it just pulls u down mentally too. This is not a disease that gives u a rest from feeling bad, it can last a while--as u know I always say no rules on this--Di u have to clean, wash clothes or cook--everything u do takes u'r strength it's so not easy.I so wanted to go back to work, not cuz I wanted to I needed to plus it would have added to my pension but sometimes things jst don't go our way---but I hate that u feel so bad all the time--I wish u had some good days---Call u'r Primary and see if there is anything she can help u with.

Lily......Hope you soon feel better........it has been a rough season for cold, flu etc.....thank heavens the only problem i have is with bouts of asthma.........I should be on an inhaler which my Dr. gave me, but they are a pain in the ass to use..............the one thing I do...........I get a flu shot, and I think that helps.........
Hopefully when the Spring comes in, it brings some good healthy days with it......hugs.

Good Morning!!
-
Everyone have a great Friday..........chilly, but sunny.........so hear I am ladies ready for the day........
-
Hi hermits- glad you liked the beautiful flower tree shots. I have a weeping cherry in the back yard that should be blooming next. That will be your next photo!
Ducky, thank you for that beautiful picture in return. So green and lush!
Lily- I am sorry to hear about your virus/cold and how it has made you feel so poorly. You are due for some better days. I read recently that doing a bit of light exercise helps these things to move through faster, but who feels like exercising when you feel sick? I hope you can ease back to some walking with the dogs when you feel better. Hugs.
Trying to get my body moving again after my sickness. Walk and yoga yesterday, walking and swimming today.
Got an apt with the nutritionist this afternoon on diet and blood sugar things. Doing well with the later, just cannot seem to loose weight. I gave up sugar, eat between 1300-1500 calories a day, keeping the carbs low. I think I have lost 2 pounds since January. I know the doctors have told me on anastrozole, the only way to loose weight will be to exercise 5-6 hours a week (I normally get in 2-3 hours per week). I quite frankly don't have the energy to do that much exercise anymore. Will see what she says.
TGIF!

Sandy.....if you get to the shore this summer we are only a few miles from each other........you have to call me, come over, and spend the day.......we can sit by the pool, chat, eat, and laugh........its a date......we can drink too if you want..............LOL
-
Blondie - you are such a trooper like a duracell battery you just keep going, I so admire you
-
So much has happened since I posted last that I know I can't respond to everyone. BUT I AM THINKING OF EVERYONE. You all keep me going in a positive direction.
duckyb1, the pool looks very inviting ... like being on vacation every day you are there. Will being in the pool help with your Femara side effects?
duckyb1 and Jazzy, thanks for commiserating with me about AI's. My thyroid med is being checked as we speak. The doc is wondering if the AI is causing the synthroid dosage to be off. She is also thinking that anxiety is an issue for me and suggested meditation. I am hoping to see the meditation consultant at my cancer center next week.
Jazzy, I hope your cold/sickness has given up its hold on you.
Okay Teka, now I am having a cake craving ... usually I reach for chocolate cake but that coconut cake is calling out to me.
Hi Sas, dwill, and Soteria. Sas, it sounds like you are getting better.
Cami, have you made it to the doctor yet? You mentioned cancelling several appointments due to weather.
Lily55, you have been through so much this winter. Hopefully, spring will bring healing energy.
blondiex, (((hugs))) and wishes for the chemo side effects to pass quickly.
Happy Week End ... in a few hours ... everyone. I will be happy if I get my paperwork caught up. It's hanging over my head, and I will feel freed when it's done. Although paperwork is never really done, is it? So, I think I will aim for "up to date."
-
Sally......swimming doesn't really help the SE"s......and since I have LE in my right arm I have to be careful of the sun............I am going to try cutting all sugar, and lower my salt intake........if I could lose the fluid that would help some...........plus I don't drink enough water........actually I hardly drink any, so that does not help either.......I am my worst enemy.
You take it easy girlfriend and you have a great weekend..........hugs.
-
Sally, we love *Fresh Apple Upside-Down Cake*!
-
Blondie I'm sorry for all this happening to u, whenever they changed chemos on me it was another here we go again so I know how that feels, u feel like it's never ending but it does so I pray it starts going better for u.
Jazzy u'r something else, keep it up u'r doing great.
I am sorry for all who are hurting, it's a struggle every day but try not to stress, it really makes it worse. And No I didn't make my app't this week---but I will call Monday--my sister is aggravating the hell out of me--she's my stressor. LOL
I hope everyone has a decent weekend with good weather.

LOL..............

Hi hermits- I started out in a not so great mood this morning, but found that improved over the course of the day. I am just bugged about a late invoice from the client that was supposed to get paid this week, but nothing yet. Ugh!
Went to see the nutritionist this afternoon, and she says I am doing well. My AIC was 5.7 the last test in January. She said this is a very good number but now has me borderline to "pre-diabetic". Not out of the woods yet, so I will continue with my carb reduced diet, exercise and try to get more weight off. She says she understands how it is slow for me to loose the weight, all things considered, but we also talked about how I have lost a lot of inches which also means the fat is going and the muscle is building. She said I look extremely healthy, and just to keep up the good work. That was far better than I expected. And I don't have to see her again.
Tomorrow I am meeting my friend for lunch and doing a bit of shopping. Any Coldwater Creek fans out there? There is 50% the entire store, looking for some spring pants.
Wishing everyone a very lovely weekend. Don't forget to spring ahead tomorrow night!
-
Jazzy,
*Excellent*
Ready for Spring ;o)
-
Jazzy.......maybe you can use a vacation...........Kathec, me, FK, and 12 others are taking a trip we are going all over......even picking up Alyson in Australia.......maybe that is what you need.........we are going in the Magic School Bus, and taking turns driving......it can go anywhere...........
Our plans are Hawaii, Jamaica, Porto Rico, .....warm places first, then off to Alaska for FK cause she can't take the heat.............Veggy is our co-pilot...........let me know.......would love to have you...........GMa, Mary, Wren, Linda3.......so much fun......know you like Kath.......so let me know............go to the Bonfire of the Godesses...........check it out...........love to have you.
-
Ducky- yes, I could use a vacation. A trip on the magic school bus sounds great to me! I love a good road trip!
Actually, in two more weeks, I have a friend coming in to town from back east and we are going up to the hot springs for the weekend. Soaking, spa treatments and girlfriend time. Then a few weeks after, I am heading out the DFW area to visit old friends from grad school days in Texas. Some time away will do me good.
A bit sleepless tonight.
-
Good Morning All
Jazzy pretty good news for you. I'm glad u'r going for a vacation with friends and just doing what u want. U need the time u've been working so hard. So this is good.
I hope everyone has a good weekend--weather will be better here, I think.
