sorry bout the deleted posts....couldn't figure out how to post pics..and they wouldn't transfer....but glad I figured it out. Thanks Kath, you are kind, I don't really do much for exercise...Just try to stay active. When I go to the store I park far away and walk fast...thats all I can muster up for exercising...this patch just has pumkins and one watermelon..beets asparagus, tomatoes and peppers are in a separate garden. Hot an humid here...feels like summer is back................
-
Kath....sounds like you took the comment by your sister well.....she sounds like how my mother was. If she were alive she would for sure let me know that "I might not make it."
shouldn't be talking sh-about Mom, she was an odd one at times................welcome to this thread....
I hope you enjoy your trip, you have had so much stress and sadness in your life....Just have fun.....

PanTIES! PACked! About my sister, i think i was just purely shocked. it was like she was gloating. she is a year younger than me, and i am pretty sure she has never done a mammo! ive asked her, she said she did, not sure i believe her, and not something you do just once and forget. ok! gotta get busy, and put down my cel phone game, and coming to bco till later. How are cammillegals amazing migrating insides doing?

Teka I can't even post photos.
Lori u said hge, u really meant that---wow --Pumpkin pie heaven--oh yea they go to the elephants,
Welcome Kath--We use the term hermits but it can mean alot of things. I am so sorry all the sadness u've endured these past few years, it's time for u to just relax. U really have o do what u want--I know how moms are I'm an oldie,(not so good anymore) but just have a talk with her and tell her u wnt to go with u'r sister-in-law, she probably needs u too and u need a lot of healing for all kinds of reasons and go with her---it sounds wonderful I'm sorry u are here, not sorry sorry, but that u have to be here--in a way we're an odd group but manage to live life the best we can and enjoy life and u should too. Come back, well I know u'll be gone but let us know how it all goes for u and hoping u have a beautiful time.
Lori I think a few of us have pumpkin envy. Hmmmm

-
You walk on the wild side!
-
Thank u Lily for appreciating my garden and it will grow for u.
-
camille you are toofunny! whitey tighty for me. i will go with sis in law and not let my moms fears about what i may or may not be capable of yet scare me off! i yell at doctors! am i still afraid of my mothers reactions to things? i love her, but she is full of red hair and freckles!!!! pplus, i think she was just so scared of another of her kids getting can (NOT) cer, that i promised her i would last as long as she did! i just know i will miss my nice calm man, and home and kitchen and garden. i imagine there will be lots of hugging tho! thank you all for being here a lady fellow anchorite.
-
that avatar picture is one of my paintings i did about 8 years ago. i was feeling really strong, and asked my man to take a picture of my muscles and jeans, ponytail! then i painted it. when i get home, time to start playing and making art again. it has been too long, and its the one thing that lights me up, and why i dont feel bad about spending alone time
-
Lori... You're cute as a bug (as they say down here)! You could fit inside that pumpkin! The Little Rock zoo often features pictures of their elephants enjoying pumpkins. They love them.
Kathe... Your river sounds lovely. I once-upon-a-time loved hiking. Once I get my real feet back (after anastrozole) I'll get my hiking boots back on! Good luck with relatives of all approaches. You sound so strong.
Camille... I agree with Teka...
Lily... how are you?
Hugs to each hermit. (Jazzy, hope your trip is a safe one.)
-
Kath if u'r art lights u up--go at it--it's wonderful.
Skittle how do u find time here. I really admire you.
-
Tomorrow, September 11th!
-
Teka I know---it's strange how u remember exactly what we were doing at that time whenthis horrible tragedy was going on and such a horrific sad day for everyone, especially all of the people who were involved--this sickens me too.
-
Camille... your one little sentence means so much to me. I'm honored. I have to admit I struggle with time management. Some days I cope better than others. But, thank you.
September 11... I was teaching for my first year. My kids were scared, confused, and so deeply different from sixth graders today. There was no Miley being obscene on stage. There were no cell phones going off in class. It was a different culture. We have changed so much in such a short time.
Hoping all hermits safe moments of understanding with family and friends...

Today, in earnest, I started Fall outdoor clean-up.
Then I got to relax in the recliner and watch the 1st Kmart TV commercial for --- Halloween no --- but X-mas layaway!
I hope everyone managed to have a fun hump day.
-
Ugh! So glad I don't have TV.
-
-
My first Good Morning---I don't know why but I watched a few programs on 9/11, srill breaking my heart, there was a blind man in one of the buildings and his dog led hime out but there was so many people on the stairways so he let his dog go to get free and the dog came back right away and led him out, the dog wouldn't leave him at all--Now all these stories and that one choked me up so much--furbabies are so trained and loyal. Well that was a sad night, But I always have to watch something on it.
Well it's supposed to be cooler today and continue so we'll se how this goes.
-
Lovely story for such a sad day!
Feeling a little lame, so only light housework until the weekend.
