AMERICAN IDOL....Season 11

Sheila and Wonderland agree with both of you on Jessica. She doesn't have the voice and the personality to pull it off that Sklar has, she makes you root for her, like Kelly Pickler did, she's so darn cute.
-
Hi Seaside, always enjoy hanging out with you ladies!!
-
-
Think Joshua did well tonight. Good night ladies!!!
-
Joshua - WOW! Awesome!
-
Joshua nailed it!
-
Again the screaming and he gets a standing ovation, Hollie they should have stood for for both times. PP may be in trouble, definitely not his night.
-
So who won the night?
-
I liked Hollie the best.
PP might be in trouble
-
I don't like saying this, but I think PP may be voted off tomorrow.
-
PP may not have been up to
Par tonight but I still like him more
Than Jessica. -
it could be hard to predict the bottom 3...i still don't have a favorite...
2 more weeks of working nights....then i can watch results :-) -
We can have our own party on the Finale...
I need to check the date is it 23 or 24
Good Night All...We always have fun here......♥
-
Unfortunately based on what I saw tonight it was a total shake up for how I would have guessed things would have gone.... I think the bottom 3 tomorrow will be PP, Skylar and Jessica... Wow, who would have thunk?! I do think PP will be in trouble..... I think Hollie and Joshua are safe.... But, I have been really bad at predicting..... So don't go by my vote...lol!!
-
Seaside...Maybe you should tell PP the last goodnight......
PP & Jessica bottom 2 ????????????
-
-
I agree Sheila possibly PP will go home. Joshua or Jessica bottom also. Dialidol is showing Skylar in 1st and PP last right now.
-
Sorry Teka ♥
Renee...It's been a very flexible AI season....
I'm changing my votes almost every week.......

TONIGHT'S THEME: 60'S MUSIC AND BRIT POP
GUEST MENTOR:Steve Van Zant
~~~~~~~~~
60's Tunes..............
HOLLIE/River Deep, Mountain High - thought she got good advice: forget about what the judges think! Just get out there and sing! And so she did.....very well!!!!
PHILLIP/ The Letter - The best part of this performance was the big backup band. I swear, every song, every genre, every era, every style.....the same ol' same ol'. BO-ring!!!!!
SKYLAR/Unfortunate Son - Don't get me wrong, I like Skylar. But tonight she was like a chipmunk on speed. All over the place, singing too fast to understand the words!
PHILLIP AND JOSHUA DUET/ You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling - What was that weird stuff before and after the song? Do they really not like each other? This song just highlighted the worst parts of each guy's voice. What a terrible combo! Even Randy referred to Joshua's "loud squawls"....
JESSICA/Proud Mary - OMG! First, she trips on the beaded curtains coming out on stage. Then during some dance moves, she wobbles dangerously on those skyscraper heels. AND - this girl should NEVER sing rock. EVER. Ick! Karaoke!
JOSHUA/Ain't Too Proud To Beg - Got to admit, the guy has showmanship! Did he hurt his leg? After one particularly low move, he sort of hobbled back and kept rubbing the back of his leg. I just can't figure him out AFTER he sings and is listening to the judges or Ryan. Is it "Deer In The Headlights" or "Hurry Up And Talk....My Ambien Is Kicking In..."
Brit Pop
HOLLIE/Bleeding Love - GREAT choice for her! I vote her "Most Improved" on the whole show. Maybe she was afraid of Elise? And now that she's gone, Hollie can shine?
PHILLIP/Time Of The Season by the Zombies - How appropriate! Songs of the living dead. And those facial expressions....looked like he was in dire pain! Judges: "He can really sing the melody!" Uh, no, he can't!!!!!!! Oh, Phillip, perhaps the time of the season of your AI fame is over....one can only hope.
JESSICA, SKYLAR, AND HOLLIE/Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher - Why, when you're featuring three girl singers, would you have so many (loud) girl backup singers? Once again, Jessica showed her weakness doing rock, couldn't understand Skylar, and Hollie was the real standout.
SKYLAR/You Don't Have To Say You Love Me - WHERE did she get that awful dress? Was that supposed to be a 60's look? Ew. Liked her voice much better slowed down, more ballady.
JESSICA/You Are So Beautiful - Now THAT is the kind of song she should stick to. SO much better suited for her voice, high notes were awesome. And those shoes? HOT!!!!
JOSHUA/To Love Somebody - Everyone knows the BeeGees. Well, everyone but Joshua. This was NOT a screamy song, yet he screeched it out, and got another standing O from the judges!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!! "Best singer I've heard in the past 50 years?" On what planet?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Think it's time for PP to say farewell. On the other hand, if VFTW is really voting for him, we may be seeing him for a while.

Blessings2011 - Love your recap. I agree with you. Hollie was awesome and PP was awful. Josh is good, but overhyped. Skylar's accent ruins non-country songs for me. Jessica is best at ballads. There doesn't seem to be an obvious winner, but sometimes they don't win anyway. (Who beat Adam Lambert?)
-
It's time.
-
Pssssssstttttt.... East Coasters.... It's Tiiiiiiiiiiime:)
-
Hi Sheila!!
-
HI Seaside
-
Did you give PP a big hug when you were tucking in him?
-
hi Sheila and Seaside, Josh is safe, praying for PP.
-
Maybe a miracle can happen and you know who goes home
She is at the bottom 2 according the DialIdol
-
Sheila,
Yes I did!! Just didn't have the heart to break it to him what i fear may happen tonight! I hope I'm wrong or, in addition to hugs we he may need a big ol' box of tissues...
Been such a weird year in that I seem to be all over the place.... Never liked Hollie but last night she really kicked butt... Love Skylar and PP but, neither wowed me last night...
Just don't know....
Hi Karen
