AMERICAN IDOL....Season 11
Comments
-
I LOVE Tina Turner. I think if I just listened Hollie with my eyes closed, I would like her a lot more. She just needs to gain some maturity on the stage.
-
It makes a big difference...Sometimes I listen with my eyes closed....lol
-
NICE JOB Hollie, hoping Jessica doesn't shine tonight.
-
I love her dress!--- I close my eyes too!
-
Thought Hollie was really good. (Plus, I love that song!)
I love PP but really didn't care for his rendition of The Letter.
-
Oh that PP, he always does it his way and is so unique and what a voice.
-
Skylar's another one I need to listen to with my eyes closed. A little tired of the foot stomp, fist pump, and bouncing squat.
-
Good song choice for Skylar.
-
PP is eye candy

Skylar is an entertainer and i love her but she needs to slow down a little bit.
-
Skylar just takes over the whole stage, she makes it a party with her voice and her dancing. You have fun because it is so obvious she is.
-
Digging Johsua and Phillip! And thinking about watching Top Gun again.

-
Well shoot.... DS and his girlfriend were here and, apparently, feeling chatty.... They obviously have no respect for the scared 'Idol Hour'....lol... They have finally left!
PP and Joshua... Gonna agree in that it started a bit like a train wreck but gained steam and, overall, was a decent performance! -
I thought the duet was awful. Proved to me that Phillip has no range.
-
Two such different voices but did they sound good together, funny how Joshua wouldn't let Phillip touch him, really gave PP a chance to use his impish ways. Didn't think they"d be able to pull it off but it was good.
-
Seaside: I agree about the duet. But it ended well. What was up with Josh? I'd let PP put his arm around me anytime.
-
Jessica.....No Comments
-
Too big of a song for her.
-
Agree with Randy -- I LOVE the version of Proud Mary done by Tina Turner. Can you tell I'm a big Tina Turner fan?
-
Totally agree with Wonderland, it is so identifiable with Tina Turner, Jessica looked like a 12 yr. old prancing around. Bad song choice.
-
Seaside, I'm with you...I was all settled in with some work spread out in front of me when DH arrives at 8 PM....gotta go pick up my car from inspection station -- and he won't wait until 10 because he's going to bed early. So I missed at least 30 min...saw Hollie, saw the awkward moment with Joshua and PP, and Jessica. What did Skylar sing?
Ahhh the sacred Idol hour.....there is an hour left, right?? -
Great song choice for Joshua. And he can actually perform!! Makes up for his akward interactions with PP during their duet.
-
So who won round one?
-
I say Joshua won round one.
-
Everyone except PP
-
I loved the duet with Joshua and Philip, I thought they complimented each other really well.
My front runners are Joshua, Holly an Skylar for the top 3--in that order.
Anne
-
I vote for Hollie (and just last week I was wishing she was voted off!)
-
I don't know yet.........
-
Hollie has my vote so far.....she was good.
-
Great song for Hollie!!!!
-
I hope the last two are Skylar and Philip. Josh screaming is painful to my ears.
