Oh FierceBB, I am so very sorry for you! Please don't take my posted images as insensitive, I didn't see your post until after I posted what I did and went to check them out (your post got in between). You and your family will be in my prayers. Gentle hugs to you, my friend!

((FierceBluebird))One foot in front of the other. One step at a time.
-
FBB - breathe!
-
FBB, praying for you, your husband and your whole family. Sending hugs and hoping for a miracle too.
-
So sorry FBB - I try to keep up but I guess I missed that you were having trouble. My prayers go up for you and your family!
-
FBB, saw your kayak pic on another thread. Awesome!!! Also wanted to tell you that a lady on another thread I go to has done well with the WBR and her new chemo. She is awesome and I am sure would be happy to share her experience with you. She started the rads and chemo in March. PM me if you would like her info. I know she would be a great source of info and inspiration! Cami, you know who I mean!!!
Chevy, playing innocent about seeing that flower pic on the net. Well you can email me anything (again!) that you are too "tame" to post!!!
Hope all you great ladies here are having a good week. Sorry I don't pop by more often. Busy busy summer. Plus thought I was in the clear for a while too and here I sit by the phone waiting for more biopsy results too. I hate, hate, hate this RB we all have come to live with except for the fact that it brings great people together.

This is what we're watching instead of TV. The eggs should hatch in the next 2-3 days. Our fingers are crossed for a healthy family. She's nesting right under our deck roof. It's so funny when she leaves to eat and the Dad stands guard. He keeps looking around and has that familiar look of husband waiting while wife shops.

fbb. Praying for you and your family

anyone know anything about oxidized water and if it is a gimick? I've got some family members who keep talking about how wonderful it is for cancer, just curious. Also, anyone heard of spraying green tea on the skin before/after radiation? -
FBB I just read u'r post and I am so sorry---Please don't give up, chemo can be the way to kill this monster and u have to go for it--we all want u to. Damn cancer
-
Tang I think that if that were 100% true maybe we'd all know about it and do this but in all fairness it can't hoit.
-
i drink a lot of green tea, but never sprayed it on my skin. i would think that it would leave your skin quite soft though. never heard of oxidized water ….
-
Tang, check with your RO before using anything on your skin. Most have their preferred treatments, some things can actually interfere with treatment.
-
My DD told me about this. She said she was all Ewwwwwww when she read it. I was too. Until she made it yesterday. You will never NEVER again buy a box of Jello pudding. She used almond milk, your choice. Same with sweetener. Put it in blender or food processor, till smooth. Chill...........if you can wait 30 min!
-
FBB, sending u hugs
NITTIE, what is it? Where did u find it? It's so adorable!!!! Can I have it? Lol 😁
-
tang. Lots if people have talked to me about the oxidized water. Supposedly a lot of athletes drink it because of its chemistry and plenty of cancer success stories. Course I am skeptical. A good oxidizer machine starts around $3,000. I don't imagine if can hurt. Water is great for us right.
Fbb. ((( hugs ))))

ENERVA, it's an orphaned raccoon. Long story, but I am trying to save it. I wish I could send it to you, I don't have much luck with this stuff.
-
Hugs to you FBB.
-
Nettie - Does the raccoon suck? They have tiny nipples (now these are goat sized so maybe still not tiny enough) called Pritchard teats (always red and yellow). They are a two way valve so bottle does not collapse. You do have to cut the end off, they come completely sealed. I think you can get Unimilk in cans. Scours (diarrhea) are usually what gets baby animals. Did it get any of mom's colostrum? Better to make formula a bit more dilute till baby accommodates to it. Your local feed store might have something too. I think you are in the country, right? I know there is a "pet nurser" bottle - I think I have one in my kit still. These teats fit on soda bottles - I had a really short one saved for a long time - easier to handle. I think like 1/2 size normal bottles. I raised one goat partly on whole milk till I finally switched it to powdered formula - mom died from C-section #2.
Fiercely One - The biggest hug for you tonight. We'll be there whatever happens.
Know I missed a bunch. I erased a long post I had by accident. To tired to go back.
Blessings - hope you are on the couch, feed propped up. No more strenuous activity than changing into shorts/shirt and then back to pjs. I'm weird. PJs signal bed to me, I can't wear during the day unless sick. Not even lounging.
-
OMG I wish I could be there to help. If you use regular milk you must boil it then let it cool down. If you boil it it won't make him sick. I will cross my fingers it survives, you can do it
or ask around if there is a pet store or a vet they may be able to take it from you. I used to rescue all kind of animal when I was a child. And my mom always gave Them to the local vet lol
