Smarrty, Good. You got my brain pingponging. I let my brain work on it for a couple days. It's the very reason I started Pain and Other things as I have posts all over the place. They take time to do, this way I can just go to P-OT's

Ladies, the clarinex I take is prescription, 5 mg, just started getting generic last year. Desloratidine. I don't know about the OTC version. Hubby uses Flonase and Zyrtec.
Finally got a little sleep last night, took an extra muscle relaxer around midnight. Just stayed in bed this morning, DC brought me some oatmeal in bed. Eyes leaking, I hate that, mo says it's from the taxotere. Rainy, thunderstorms today. Listening to some nice jazz. -
Mags, Your tree is magnificent. I would love to see an area full of them.
-
Counterpoint to Spookie's weather postings. This is for March.
-
Spookie - I order it from "iherb.com" A 32 oz. bottle is only $16.19 and lasts me about 6 mos. I like iherb because their customer service is very good, plus they usually have free shipping for orders over $20.00. Plus there is a customer loyalty program that they give for free as well. It amounts to 10% of your last order that is deducted from your next order. Also, if it is your first time ordering you get $10.00 off your order for new customers.
On my scalp I have seborrheic dermatitis, and like I said before the shampoo has green tea, lime juice, argon oil, aloe vera juice and many other botanicals. I've been using it for about a year. Plus it doesn't have any SLS (sodium laureth sulfate) or parabens, etc. which can be drying to the skin.
On my face I've had some eczema issues and was using an organic soap w/ shea butter, but it was too drying, so I've switched to the "Avalon Organics CoQ10 Repair Facial Cleansing Milk" and it is working well so far.
Wren - Same here in Salem, OR. At least for the next week or so.
Sas - healthypets.mercola.com Dr. Karen Becker is the veterinarian and she is a holistic veterinarian.

I was looking for some old posts. Ran across this one when I went public with Donnie. Since I made the coal & diamond analogy today, it's interesting that it was the same as when he moved in.
Dec 12, 2012 09:22AM - edited Dec 12, 2012 09:22AM by sas-schatzi Newsflash I have a fella--7 months now, trial of living together for last 4+ weeks, Talking lots and lots and LOTS. Marriage not an option b/c of money. Each day is better than the last. So, please, keep us in your prayers. He's 54, I'm 62. Good looking in a rough cowboy sort of way. He was definitely a diamond in the rough. Long shoulder length hair, always looked like he needed a scrub b/c he's in a job that there's alot of dirt, a rough beard, Harry Potter hair(in the books Harry's hair is always askew). New man once I convinced him of the importance of the way he looks. Reinforcement helps. He's gotten soooo many compliments(men and women) on his new look and the way women look at him now. He's like a kid "Did you see how many women were looking at me". I said "How can you tell". He "Cuz I stared them down" LOL. Some would be threatened by that, but I'm not. Effect on me: depression-- gone, I'm cooking rather than opening a can of cold beans, going out rather than cocooning, fixing myself up, decorating the house to the nines which I haven't since before BC (09), I'm back to laughing allot, the unsaid is great too, LOL. Life is short, not going to miss this opportunity too be happy. Whatever may happen in the future that may be negative will not rob me of this present joy. Screw BC. sassy

Top plate very heavy leaded glass. Probably Polish or Chezch. $4. The stems are iridescent. !2 pieces for 10$. Very delicate. The previous post shows iridescence better than I have. The next plate is Silver overlay, done with Rhodium (better than silver, doesn't tarnish). The last two are the same plate. Only when the plate has light reflected from above on a white surface does the pattern show well. 3$. The pic doesn't do bad. But the pattern looks three dimensional on the white surface. With no light you can't see the pattern. I'm officially drowning in glass. No more places to hide it.
Mags I still have to work on etching and embossing.

nooooo problem Your Majesty!!
Sure don't want to stay where I'm accused of cyber stalking.
Bye all.
-
Whoa, what just happened?
-
Spookie, please don't leave.... Cyber-stalking is a serious issue, and none of us here have ever been stalked, NOR have stalked anyone... if we are, I'd like to have someone prove it.... NO-one should ever accuse anyone of cyber-stalking... Unless they have proof, and I'v heard this term before, and it is all bogus.
You have never cyber-stalked anyone, nor I.... And for anyone to accuse you of that is just ridiculous...... We have so many friends on here... I don't want you to leave.... It just makes us all question everyone!
This has never happened on these boards...
We all want to feel safe, and have NO-ONE ever accuse us of this..... especially "behind the scenes..."
-
Yes, they're was stalking and I have been in contact with the Mods. Now if we need to put it all on the table and upset everyone, I will. Otherwise, I suggest we leave it alone. They're was intent to harm the thread.by creating conflict. Which has now been majorly done. The point of managing it responsibly through the Mods has been defeated.
-
Okay, sorry Sass..... I can post somewhere else anyway..... just hate to see my friends accused of "stalking"......
When we have differences of opinion, it doesn't mean there is any sort of "stalking"....
-
Whoa whoa whoa, I can't see you stalking anyone. There got to be a huge misunderstanding. I am thinking maybe a cyber troll who is trying to destroy friendship/relationship. We are supposed to make each other laugh right?? So Ms. Sookie, you can NOT leave.
-
I'll think overnight about posting the whole scenario. If you decide to leave, doing based on facts is better than doing without knowing the facts.
-
Okay...I really hope this can be resolved. I don't know all the details. What I know is that we all have different ways of seeing things and it's ok to disagree as long as respect is not taken out of the equation. I know there are people on here who see things differently or have different belief system, but that doesn't mean that we can't continue to be friends. We all bleed red and have feelings. Regardless I love you ladies. I hate division.
Edit to correct my darn grammar as usual.
-
Ok, I was on this thread 6 hours ago and now I come back and read some of the recent posts and I feel like the whole world has turned upside down. Please! Please! Please! don't anyone walk away. We have such a wonderful dynamic. It is because of you ladies that I have been able to come out of the funk I was in because of my dx. We ALL have something to give to one another, despite any differences we might have.
Spookie, please reconsider!!!!!!
-
mags, I have tearing and nurse running from taxotere from over a year ago. The sinus's constrict, so instead of the normal fluids draining into your system, they come out an opening they can find. I have never found anything to stop it. But I am ok with that, cause I think the germs aren't getting into my system either, cause everything keeps running out. Not a doc, but I sure go through a lot of Kleenex:)

Sass in regards to your question. I had my 43 anniversary in January. I have a daughter who is 32 and getting married this summer. My son is 30 and has a lovely girlfriend, who we would be delighted if he married. I sold my retail store 2 years ago and my plan was to get my house in order, get all my appointments caught up and get Lean and fit. Found out l had bc almost right away, certainly caught up on appointments. I am dishoholic and would love to have some of your dishes.
Chevy you and your husband are a very handsome couple.
Susan and Mags I had very runny eyes as well, has almost cleared up, except when I am exercising and orwalking in the wind.
Jazzy I think that diet just might work for me.
Smaarty and Juneb my knitting is coming along, practice as you said helps
-
lookforward, I knit a ton. And a few friends and I knit together. Any questions feel free to ask. U tube is awesome too
-
Susan thank you . I have been watching U tube, because I couldn't remember everything from the class.
-
-
I love reading your stories about who you are...thank you for sharing!
Jazzygirl, I need that "diet". I had lost 5 or 6 pounds and was feeling pretty darn good about it. ...they are back and I'm mad at myself. My hubby is a great cook....he has a stressful job, does it to decompress. Sometimes it is just too much! All my friends say, "OH what a great problem to have". Yes it is wonderful, but really, can we not just have cereal for dinner sometimes? Lol.
Look forward and Susan, do you knit gifts for your family? Home made gifts are so personal and special.
I am new here, and appreciate you all. Hoping today is a better day for many....for all. It is our differences AND what we have in common that makes us bond, love one another yes?

Morning Meadow!!
-
Good morning lovely lady!
-
meadow, yep, knit for family and baby that's on its way. Just putting together a sweater I knitted for Claire for her birthday . Got to get it in the mail Friday. I will finish it today. Perfect timing. I was calling my "parlor" actually spare bedroom we made into sitting room....but I have been calling it my sweat shop cause I have been spending all my time in there knitting this sweater. Only gave myself 2 weeks. Why do we wait till last minute????? I will post when I am done :

Ginger, they're was a controversy about Hazel Atlas and the Shirley Temple glass. They stopped producing it b/c of the controversy. Think it was to do with licensing. You should be able to pull it up on the net.
Lookie, I calculate loosely that you were married about 12 years before your daughter came. Me too. Did we get the ribbing about that i.e. "finally learned how to do it" was the most common. DS Steve is 31, so, our kids are the same age
HI1 had a weird thought. If the city was spraying a chemical that affected the female trees, what was /is the impact on women in the area? Has/did anyone do a meta-analysis of increase in fertility problems in area of spraying. Not only on women , but birds. May sound weird, but much worse has happened like asbestos., deet, etc.
Smarrty, letting it freeze up a bit. It's structurally unstable. Retrospectively, bad move not to get an ortho look. Duh, who's the one always saying get a look. BTW How's mum? I worked on P-OT's yesterday trying to find those old posts. Didn't find the one I wanted, but found others. Missed the statement about the eye. Could be vascular could be lot's of internal eye stuff. Is she complaining of it today?
Mags started on Clarinex and Afrin yesterday. Best night sleep since many months. My mucus membranes were so swollen I was sucking air. Tongue all dried out in am. Horrible. Thank you Thank you
:):)
Junie glad you are out of your funk. Lot's here came out the same way.
Susan, love the typo " I have tearing and nurse running from taxotere from over a year ago."
Jazzy love the rat trap. A first in 24 years. I found a dead rat in the pool.
-
my I pad is doing real Wierd stuff. I have to be so careful to proof read. Some of the words it changes stuff to makes no sense to what I typed. I hate technology . Very frustrating for my pea brain. Lol
-
Pm'd with Mema the other day. She's in a funk. Perhaps a PM shower would brighten her spirits.
Morning Loverly, and Meadow and Zills and Chevy, and anyone else I missed.
