I tried to call her yesterday but she was out. I will tell her you asked after her.

Hi, SoCalLisa.....love the Doors
your photo that is! I always wonder what is behind them
-
Barbara A - Please give SV my best wishes. I miss her and often think about her. Thanks.
-
Barbara, it's looking like you and I might actually meet in November - woooo hoooo! Readers, a member of BCO's chat room is planning a get together in Florida in November. Once all details are set I'll definitely share details. It's by no means restricted to chatters - all members of BCO or friends or family are invited. I love having something to look forward to .. hope it falls into place.

3jays, marlegal is right---don't stay away from here due to crabbiness. Goodness knows, lots of us suffer from that and we don't have MRSA to deal with, and we can take it and maybe help. Hope things get better soon.
Congrats on 8 years Isabella! I'm going to keep your good fortune in mind as I go for my first post surgery mammo on Wednesday. I am, as the old Southern expression says, "as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs".
Marybe, hope things improve soon, and hope taking the claritin before the injection next time will help. Hugs to you.
Well, I'm "Amazing Grace"'d out. DD was in a competition today where everyone sang or played Amazing Grace and DH and I now know all 4 verses. If one learns by repetition we heard it 18 times. It was done by our county's symphony association and DD won her adult singer division, small money prize but she's a music teacher and every little bit helps. She still takes voice lessons from an opera singer who retired here and who wants her to audition for the Metropolitan Opera, she's that good. Forgive me for bragging on her, but every time I hear her sing I'm in awe.
Hope all of us have a great day tomorrow, and hugs to all.

SIXTEEN!!! #16!! That was where I placed and I am very happy and very thankful for all your help, especially you Barb, who helped me in hounding everyone to vote. I found the whole thing to be very exciting and just want all of you to know that I really appreciated your support and votes!! Ok spirited, lively ones...Tonight we Party!!! I am bringing the desserts along with some of those wonderful chocolate covered strawberries someone turned me on to and just happened to get a shipment of crablegs in...those are for campaign manager, Barb...I think I have heard you say before OMG, I love crablegs. Now, I am off to work, but I will see you all this evening....you have my permission to start drinking before I get here.
SWEET SIXTEEN!!!
-
I think I gained 5 pounds just looking at the photos, marybe, even though I am allergic to both choc and strawberries. Looks like I could make a pig of myself on the other goodies... Thanks for a wide selection. And crab legs - yuuuuummmmmmmmmmm
Sorry I could not vote as I do not do Facebook and will not be convinced to do so. Tried it, did not like it and the issues involved.
-
Love it Marybe!! Congrats on making it to number 16!!
-
It is a dreary day here, but the roses still seem a bright beacon
-
Love that pink!!
-
That is divine Lisa, what a colour.
Have several famly members coming to dinner tonight and I am not feeling very lively. Hopefully the joints and bones will be less painful by luch time. So I am not very lively at present. I have the laptop on my lap in bed.
-
Stay in bed a while Alyson. Nothing wrong with a lie in.
Way to go Marybe!! Number 16!!!
-
Here is cake for all of you for helping me get to #16. I am not going to be around partying tonight, that's for sure. I worked today and have no idea if I am still feeling crappy from the neulasta or if the halaven is finally starting to have some SE's, but I just do not feel good. I am super tired. My legs seem so heavy and I feel like I could just topple on forward when I walk and my knee replacement has been throbbing on and off and the balls of my feet hurt and I have been having muscle spasms all day long and just do not feel good. Tomorrow I have an appt with the onco, no treatment other than my Xgeva shot and I am going to ask him what he thinks is going on. I am sure I could go to sleep now if I went to bed, so I am going for it....sleep is always good and hopefully I will feel more normal tomorrow. Hope you all have a nice evening.
I forgot to ask...Did you have your cataract surgery GramE? If so how are you doing? I am down to using the drops just three times a day now....or is it 2, I forget.
-
Oh dear Marybe, So sorry you are having such a bad time and feeling so bad. Hope a good sleep will help you feel better. Glad you are going to let the onco know what is going on with you. Take care of yourself and let us know what the onco says. We will save some crab legs, chocolate strawberries, pies and cake for you tomorrow when you are hopefully feeling better.
Alyson, hope you are feeling better and did not let yourself get too tired with your family there for dinner. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for all our joint and bone pains.
I think I will be headed to bed shortly after I do some more reading to catch up on all the posts. My joints and bones are hurting a lot today too. Plus I missed my nap today because DH cam home early and wanted me to go to Wally World with him. Hope everyone has a good night of rest.
-
Marybe, I'm sorry you're not feeling well tonight and hope that going to bed early will help restore your energy. I didn't have chemo due to the oncotype test (the onc was all for it prior to those results) but as we all know I may have to have it eventually, depending. I know you've been down this road before and am sorry you're having to go down it again. Prayers and {{{hugs}}} to you.
Alyson, hope your dinner went well and your bone pain eased. Are you taking arimidex? Lying in bed seems like a good thing to me and hope it helped. {{{Hugs}}} for you too.
AmyJo, I so hate to go to Wally World but find myself there far too often. Ours was redone into a super store last year and I can no longer find anything. Well, I'm learning, but it's a slow process. We went there yesterday to buy sand for a sandbox DH is going to make for GS, who we now keep full time while his parents work. GS will be 2 this month, and that says it all!
Please remember me tomorrow, ladies, as I go for my first mammo "since".
Kathy
-
{{{KATHY}}}} Holding you close and in my prayers! You will have a B9 result!
Marybe, sorry you are feeling yucky. Hope the onc can come up with something.
AmyJo, I regard a trip to Wally World as similar to going to the zoo. Strange people there.
-
Big hugs Kathy, all will be fine but know how you feel. I am on femara but also have rheumatoid arthritis and post polio syndrome so as far as joint, muscle problems I have so much trouble. I don't know if its SEs or not. Also have continuing neuropathy in my feet from chemo - they feel numb but get very cold and painful ( have burnt my toes on a wheatbag )
We don't have Wally world here but went to one last year in PA so undersatnd. We have something called The Warehouse not as large but similar. I avoid it if possible but the sometimes have good sheets and towels there.
Enough of that I am on my feet today but very slow. Its the pain in my back that really gets me.
Marybe hope you are feeling a little better.
Big hugs to everyone.

Hi there. I hope you are all enjoying a good day. Our weather is fabulous and I spent most of this day outdoors, working in my flower garden, wiping things down and sitting in the shade. Awwwhhh, this is the life! Actually, I am glad to be busy (can't think). Tomorrow is my 1st mammogram since my surgery last June. I know by tomorrow I will work myself up into quite a state. I think there is a bit of a wait for results, too, so please bear with me as I will become a basket case until I know more.
take good care and just breathe. . .
