Hi Girls! Yes, as promised (though a little late getting started) I am reading this thread from the beginning. It is hilarious! The stars were definitly aligned on March 1, 2011. I even know (finally) why I need Bounty!
Thank you, thank you, thank you and do pass the asperagus, puff, puff.

We need an asparagus like that!!!
-
hahaha - that picture reminds me of a dog we had about 25 years ago. She was a German Shepherd and her best friend was a dachsund who lived next door. When she came in heat she would try sooooo hard to be accommodating to him, but they just could never quite do the thing
They probably should have tried asparagus.

Alyson thank you so much for the asparagus, The thorn worked it self out. Then Marywh suggested we add Mushrooms, Then Aud gave a wonderful description of the resulting combination. So, anyone truly understanding all that was said, We all must be from the 1960's to the 1980's before drug testing came in LOL. Shrooms On the beach near Hilton head. Can you imagine seeing your first sea worms, coming up in sand in clear low water. On a brilliant clear summer day. First worm was a bit freaky. After that it was magical. PUFFFFFFFFFFFpuf pass.

Omeggo let us know when you staRT CLUCKING? lol BRAWKGKKKKKK
-
Things have been quiet here lately, but today I had to come back and cluck: DH did the grocery shopping today, and when I unpacked a bag, I found a beautiful package of fresh asparagus! puff puff pass!
-
Oh how wonderful and by the way I still have loads of mushrooms-enough for everybody!
-
Omeggo....Nice job! Its worth the effort. It became the only reason I would get out of bed when I was beginning treatments. This thread is dear to my heart as. ... well, you know...laughter is a cure!!!! LOL
Puff puff passing to you! -
I might need the mushrooms in this part of the world as they think there will be a shortage of asparagus here this spring and the tinned stuff just doesnt work.
Rather difficult to smoke.
-
Alyson, drain, sun dry and roll. Just be sure to get canned organic.
Tried to talk Hubby into doing aliver detox too but he is passing (two pages back for detox story) and I told him he is a wimp. He said he may be but he is NOT stupid.
-
(Laughing WITH you and your DH Essa!) I vividly remember your detox story. DON'T Laugh!!!
-
Alyson, won't the tin make a nice hat? Puff, puff, deeeeeeeeeep inhale, pass.
-
MadBlue,
That "liver detox" sounds like a colonoscopy prep. I don't think I would want that again anytime soon!
Who is bogarting that asparagus?
-
This is what I got when I googled Asparagus Brownies!
-
-
Are any of you ladies spies???
-
Tried to edit this one to say "I like smoking asparagus" and to shrink it a bit, but was unsuccessful. You get the idea, though!
-
What a WEIRD coincidence! I was at Moffitt today (cancer center) for a second opinion...in one of the offices, there was a really, really tacky oil painting with what were trees, I guess. BUT...in REALITY they were ASPARAGUS, I swear! It was hysterical and I dedicated my visit there to you in this thread at that very moment! A tree sized asparagus stand! Who wudda thunk! Maybe from the Land of the Jolly Green Giant in Area 51, right? OMG!!!!!!
Just think of how many tokes. Nirvana!
-
Linda.....I do confess. It was me.
-
Ahah! Audrey! Who knew???? Did you spill the state secrets on asparagus growing and harvesting???
-
No asparagus secrets spilled. I would have had to kill her.
-
Oh, thank goodness!
I actually know a lot of "spies" - i.e. "SPIs" = Specialist in Poison Information. When I first heard them called "spies" I had a momentary pause, then realized the what the acronym was referring to. I have never talked to one about asparagus poisoning, though.... -
-
Veggy - ME TOO!!!
-
OK, this is horrible pink, but couldn't resist:
