Great fun here Redhead and yes we have all been where you are. Doesn't pay to figure out folks here cause we are all mad.
Jo and Linda I am so happy to be retired and it's even better now I am getting my pension. I took early retirement because I had multiple health issues as well as BC. Not sure when DH will retire but he has reduced his hours by taking longer holidays which means we can travel.
Must go and see if the gate is open so I can get rid of my big bag England here I come.
-

-
Hey ladies........we're open........this was a work weekend down here......but we got it done......yay...........................POOLS OPEN....
-
Wow - LOVE that pool!!!
Been out of touch a bit, busy as a beaver, but I'm not too sure what I've been doing. whatever it's been it seems like it must need redoing just about every day.... I don't know what you ladies were referring to about BCO - I don't read a lot of threads though, so whatever it was/is I must have missed it.
Jo - retirement is really great - we are a bit short of money, but I am definitely enjoying life much more now than when I was working. I do, however, try to pick up a contact now and again to fund more fun stuff...
Today I'd like to burn those DAMN letrozole pills. I have been in way way way too much pain lately. I can't remember anymore what life used to be like, so now whenever I hurt I just blame the stupid cancer medicine. And I hurt a lot
poor me.... OK. enough whimpering. Now I'm going to go out and work on my garden bench project. (I simply refuse to stop doing stuff I enjoy - then I take some willow bark and hope the discomfort subsides.) See you lovely ladies later.
-
ducky - Are you trying to say you are the level headed on here? NOT! I hope no one believes that. You may be a lot of things but sorry sister, that is just not one of them. Between you and FK it adds up to insanity. That is what keeps a lot of us laughing.
The pool pictures look so inviting. I just came back from our pool and it felt great.
Alyson - Retirement will be mine soon. Hubby and I just bought a good size pop up camper and plan on doing some traveling this summer. The little extra I am making now will help to buy stuff for the camper. We will also be a little short of money but if we are careful what we do, we will be just fine.
Crog - Not sure if I welcomed you so Welcome to the Insane Asylum! I am the Queen Crazy here no matter what Ducky says. Like FK said, pull up a chair, have a set and what the circus. It sure will put a smile on your face.
gardengumby - We are all struggling in some way with those stupid cancer pills. I tried started out on the ones you are one and had such a tough time, I had to go on Tamox and they are no walk in the park either. Hang in there and come here often - this is the place to vent.
-

FK - 80 would be a pleasant day here. I could go for that. It pretty much stays in the 90s during the summer here so stop your bitching!!!! Just turn on the air conditioning and deal with it. Okay!!! We are finally getting some ,much needed rain. Yes!!!
-

Yes JOJO I do have the AC on...
What happend to the season SPRING?????
-
ducky - FK is at it already and summer isn't officially here yet. Sheesh! It may be one hell of a summer for all of us.
The daytime temps in that forecast looks alot like ours. Night time temps are not as cool - usually in the 70s.
It rained buckets here for about an hour. It is all gone now and there is flooding throughout the valley. We are okay. We really needed this rain but not so much as one time.
-

It's cold tonite
Please Mother Nature will u just give us a little bit of spring

FK - I agree with ducky. You are asking for too much. I just hope it doesn't get any hotter there.
-

ALL IM ASKIN FOR SPRING
I'll have to deal with summer but it Officially starts June 21
Me thinks that it's still May
-
FK - Hoping you do get a taste of spring.
I hate this damn cancer! A friend of mine called me today and told me she has been diagnosed with BC. Really don't know any more details right now but I am asking all my pink sistas to keep her in your prayers. Will update as I get more information.
