    Linda, have a great vacation, where ever that mosquito and black fly infested place is. If you were Canadian, I'd say you were going to Algonquin Park. But in the US, I have no idea. lol

    Headed for Italy on Saturday. Yes, I am spending my children's inheritance. I was going to go when I was retired but this nonsense has made me realize I might not make it to then. Who knows? I'm not being negative, I just decided to start filling my bucket list now. On our wedding anniversary, my DH and I will be in a gondola in Venice. I'm hoping for champagne and a gondolier who sings! Also visiting Rome, Florence and Assissi. Oh and my adapter is with my passport, Ducky.

    My doc also said I can take a medication vacation while I go abroad. So I am looking forward to being able to do things again, like make a fist, walk without my hips popping in and out, sleeping without night sweats.That would be glorious.

    Fire, thanks for your kind words. It will all get better in no time at all, I'm sure. These things seem to come in waves, then a period of calm. I'm due my calm any day now. TeeHee.

    ducky - Welcome back.  I have a charger that is MIA and for the life of me have no idea where it got off to.  It may turn up sometime.  Who knows.

    Linda - Have a great vacation wherever you are going.  I can't comment on the LE as I escaped that.  Hope it stays in check while you are off having lots of fun.

    RedReading - Italy huh?  How romantic.  Have a great time and take lots of pictures.  

    Had a busy, but exhausting weekend.  Going to go relax for a while and then off to bed.

    Red, I backpacked in Algonquin National Park about 30 years ago, and my memories focus on those blasted black flies! It was a beautiful hike except those aggressive critters. They also infest the northern areas of many of our border states, MN, MI, VT, ME. We are going to VT, and it has been wet and warm there, perfect breeding conditions. But as I said, I am taking a gallon of Deet with me!

    Still have Tuscany, Rome, Athens, and southern France on my list of places I want to go, but like FK, I don't fly, so will have to do them via those travel DVDs and public TV shows.

    I gotta get packing if I am to be ready when DH pulls out of the driveway ... am out of practice for these long trips!

    Deb, thanks for the beautiful photo and report!  It is so good to meet up!   There's no need for small talk with BCO ladies...when we get together, we can share anything like we've known each other all our lives.  It's special.

    Italy...have a wonderful time.  I had planned a trip abroad for this summer but canceled for a few reasons.  I don't feel regrets yet...but I want to go somewhere.  I'll figure it out...

    Linda, you are brave to go where the critters outnumber you a million to one...I get very distracted by buggy stuff.  But it sounds like it is worth it! 

    Ducky, did you post a pic of the baby?  Sounds like a wonderful day.

    Joan.........This is my son, their Poppie.........and on his lap  is Shea-Lyn who is  Lindsey's daughter who is the other identical twin.....................sitting next to him is Isabella, (a character), who is Mila, and Grayson's sister...........as you recall Grayson, and Isabella are also identical twins......

    Grayson was there but was very sick the day before and was in no mood for pictures.......constant throwing up, and this little one cannot afford to do that......she was held all day, as you remember also she cannot walk and there was no place for her to be.........but everyone wants to hold her..........

    Ok Joan.....am I an ass or what..........I really do need help......never sent the picture......now I will send you the one from above......and just was sent one of Grayson with my  son......you can see she is not well.....by the way these were taken in the church as I figure you guessed..........Shea and Isabella....cousins.........

    Ducky, those pics are beautiful.  The B&W one look like a scene from a movie!  Poor little Grayson being sick with all those cousins around...it just wasn't her day.
    How exciting...a precious new grandchild.  You surely are blessed!

    As for a name for your new thread - "Penny for your Thoughts"  It may sound dumb but it was all I could think of at the time.

    ok I got some stuff to throw into the fire

    I usually do

    First I want to throw in my entire stomach....it never worked right and it's still not workin

    Because it's gonna be Father's Day tomorrow I want to throw in my X for never being there for my kids...so into the fire,)Happy Father's Day NOT...

    Now JOJOo I'll meet u by the fire so we can have this overdue bonefire....I cannot bring any food cause everything tastes like shit being on the gluten free diet.BUT I'll bring anyone on my broom who would like to join us....

    The broom has been in the shop for a while and now it's workin just like its brand new

    Anyone need a ride?????

    FK, I need your broom to break out of this hospital! Felt bad Thursday, got admitted but had to stay in the ER for nearly 24 hours before there was a room available, now of course it is weekend and all the hospital docs do is "maintain" until the regular docs get back on Monday, so I am sitting here just fuming and wanting to go home. Had more fluid drained off my lung, they may drain some off my belly tomorrow or Monday, on IV antibiotics cuz I was running a fever ..... Did not get to leave for my VT vacation yesterday, but plan to leave as soon as they let me out of this joint. I would never make it in prison ....

    Glad to see some good things happening here and there, thinking of all of you. Hugs!

    Hmmm first off, if there is a new thread, are you trying to attract new people?  or be obscure and go slowly with word of mouth?  Of course, all threads are open, but you know what I mean. 

    FK,  I don't know about excluding pix.   I have to say that some of my favorite moments from the old threads (that were so funny and such a break from the reality of why we are all here...) - they were the ones with hysterical pix on them.  A really funny original picture can say more than a pile of words and make me LMAO.    And I need a laugh.

    Linda, I can't believe you are stuck in the hospital on the week end with all the part timers who don't do anything and can't get you on a plan...and a long stretch in the Er suite has got to make anybody feel worse....gotta throw that nonsense in to the fire.  I hope you are feeling Ok and at least getting the rest and fluids you need.  Let's get you back on track and get on the vacay...it's the most needed thing right now.

    Ducky you an FK are to funny...   Now Ducky we certainly know that you are not done!!!!!  Ha ha ha. I read this and the other boards that are my favorites everyday.  Well once in awhile I might miss a day but very seldom.  Now I don't post pictures but like seeing them as they make me smile and sometimes laugh.  We all need laughter, right..  Ok I am staying out of, unless my opinion is asked for, wether there should be pictures or not.  My opinion would be though that who ever starts the new forum should be able to make up the rules but good luck to her in being able to make the rest of you follow the rules..  You know who you are without me mentioning names.  Ha ha ha.
